Vintage Cards

Here's a beautiful image from Mari's Digi stamps.  I created this lovely card for the new contest at Outlawz Monday greetings Challenge.  The theme this week is vintage Jane Austin.  This wonderful stamp is B-99 Jane Austen Inspiration.  I decided to create  a vintage theme using mostly browns with some great crème colored lace that I got in Istanbul.

I thought this cute card was just perfect for Spring time.  She's from PpinkyDolls.  TOO cute.  I adore these sweet stamps.  The weather has been so very nice and we are so enjoying it right now, it's almost to the point where it's getting hot in the afternoons.  The allergens are just killing people though as the trees and grass is blooming and causing many people pain.

Can you believe we are already on the week of Easter?  the month is nearing half over and the school year is actually approaching it's end?  what? Well I made this cute with a little girl because now that I am working at a school I see these little darlings every day. 

I hope you are having a great April and that everyone has some plans for Easter weekend. I know the schools here will be closed on Friday so this week will be short.

 Happy Friday everyone. Here's the cutest new image from Sandra Caldwell, it's called 1472, Ewe Take the Cake!  How perfect is this image for a wonderful birthday card?  Here's my card that I created using this stamp.  Sandra will be adding this creation to her store on Etsy today!

Let them eat cake!

Here's a fun card I created using some wonderful papers from Paper Temptress in combination with some Lace I got in Istanbul and a great stamp from Lili of the Valley.

The base of the card is a wonderful brilliant yellow infused with Mica that just shines in flecks all over, it's called Mangue Sparkle.  I layered the ribbon on a small strip of basis black card stock.  I printed out the image on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest card stock and then layered it on Black Glossy paper, which just shimmers.

Here's an adorable image from Lizzy Love. I totally LOVE her girls.  This one is just TOO cute. I am using pink with lime green.  I thought the pink sentiment was hilarious "I was ready to take on the world but I got distracted by something sparkly!"  HA!

Oddball Arts is having a contest on their Facebook page, Anything Goes theme and you can join in the fun.  There's also a contest on their blog, the theme there is Friendship.

Here's the cutest girl from Faery Ink Stamps.  I adore this artist's beautiful images.  She makes the cutest Fairies.  Now if only I had a candy that big (or a fairy that tiny).  Hmmm, which one?

Follow your own star!

Here's the newest image from artist Sandra Caldwell this week. This wonderful stamp is called 1401 Bearly an Angel.  How sweet is this?  too cute. I colored it with copic markers and layered it on pink and then black papers. 

I used some cute pink polka dot paper to make the card and then added tiny star shaped buttons on the card.  Today Sandra will be adding many brand new images to her store on Etsy, Babycakes DND.

Love Struck

Here's one of my old favorites from Queen Kat Stamps. I just love these fun images.  I am using a sentiment as well that says "Love Struck."  I totally adore the cute bow in her hair with the skull in it.  So fun!  How I wish this artist still had images as stamps.

Hope everyone is having a Happy Spring already.  It's been mostly pleasant here, with some days cool enough to feel like it's really spring and not summer yet!

Here's a darling boy theme image from Sherri Baldy.  This cutie is just perfect for the new contest over at the SSS Challenge blog this week, the theme is to use Kraft Paper. The bottom of my card is Kraft paper and then I added some browns to go with it.  Isn't he so adorable?  I added a sentiment that says "hope, then believe, then do."

Here's a gorgeous gift that I received from one of the Prize Winners, Virginia M.  She sent me this stunning watercolor painting. She had even asked me what topic I would like to see and I had told her a water/stream as I love to walk along them and pick up rocks and fossils.

It's in an 8.5x11" frame so you can tell it's full size.  Just a gorgeous mixture of colors.  Thanks so very much Virginia.
