Faith Blog Hop, Day 3

(to read more about the Friends of Faith blog hop, scroll down to friday and saturday's posts)

Here's my card for today. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path."

This is a HUGE week coming up for me. I find this card particularly fitting as I am about to go into the hospital for testing. It's quite a surprise really, as I have always been very anti surgery. But here we are and here I go. I pray that the Lord will guide me and help me to deal with the outcome of this week, regardless of the results. I will either find out that I am a good candidate for brain surgery and will then face brain surgery OR I will find out that I am not a good candidate for surgery; that will be a very depressing blow. So either outcome is a little scary and will take much faith to get through. I have made some great cards for you all to see next week. Please come by and visit everyday. I hope to have WIFI connections at the hospital, so I will leave messages as I can. Hugs to you all!!

Have a Blessed Day!

Very pretty card, Holley. I have really enjoyed your cards for the blog hop. Thank you.

I'm praying for you, your husband and the doctors as you go through the tests this week and face these very sobering results. May you feel God near to you each step of the way.

I'm so sorry to hear about your tests & possible surgery. May God be with you doing this trying time. I know His Angels will be with you everyday, not just on Sundays! I will place you in our prayer circle. Stay strong & keep busy with your cards...they're gorgeous!

What a beautiful card, Holley! I'll be remembering you and your husband in prayer. Praying for strength, comfort and guidance - that you'll feel the presence of the Lord and know that He's with you every step of the way. God Bless!
