Happy Bear-Day!

Happy Friday everyone! Here's a wonderful 6x6 inch card using beautiful printed paper from Crafter's Companion along with great stamps from the Popcorn Bear collection. I love him! He's just adorable. I colored this bear up with Copic markers on Neenah white paper. The bear and the saying on this card come from a set called "Floral Delight" (click here). First I started the card with a wonderful sheet of fall colored paper. This sheet comes from the Fairyopolis paper pad (click here). One might not think that this paper would have such wonderful fall type colors, but the Fairypopolis paper is super versatile with great colors for fall. For the card shown, half a sheet 12x12 paper is used.

I used a simple flower stamp to add some additional stamped images on the printed paper. If you look at the main card, these extra flower images are very sublte and highlighted by using an opaque white pen to color in the center of the flowers. Then, I added a layer of black netting along with my beautifully colored Popcorn Bear image. I completed the decoration some fun flowers, pretty brads and a saying that came with the Popcorn Bear Stamp "Hoping Your Birthday is as Special as You."

My final touch was to add a little stamp to the backside of the card, this stamp says "Here's hoping you have a Sunny day!" What a perfect ending to a card. I think it's always fun to put a little flair on the back of your cards that you give people as I always notice that people look on the back of them. They get a little tickled to see that I put something there. Underneath, I sign my name.
