Happy Birthday Sister

Wishing my dear sister in Thailand a very happy birthday today.  I hope you are able to do something special.  I made this card using wonderful inking techniques in a class from RubberNecker during the convention last October.

Question of the day:  have you learned a new technique recently?  if so what?

Have you seen the prize winner list?  check HERE

Happy birthday to your sister! You made a very beautiful card for her. I'm sure she will appreciate and treasure it.
I learned brick stitch at the end of last year while making Christmas ornaments. Now I wonder if I could also use it on my cards...

I haven't learned any new techniques lately, but I have some things in mind. I have a Gelli Plate I haven't used yet, and I also bought a set of the Distress watercolor pencils that I'm anxious to try out!

Cool looking card. Sometimes over-sized sentiments are what really pull everything together. and I bet your sister loves this.
THanks for sharing!
I've not tried any new techniques lately but I am working on an interactive card I've never made before!

Hi, it's nice to create for our family members and your sister will be delighted to receive your greeting card. Creating for a person means that we think of them and dedicate time for a special and personalized wish.
In this period I'm trying to learn the masking technique for coloring. I hug you and best wishes to your sister. Taty by Scrapper Con Passione

What a happy card! Perfect for Spring! I’ve been working on learning to folds “fancy fold” I guess, to give my cards a different look. I’m also trying to get better with coloring with blender pens.

A lovely card. I don’t think I have learned any new techniques lately. I do look at a lot of blogs and YouTube for ideas.

Happy birthday to your sister!! Gorgeous card! The latest I learned was a coloring on tissue paper with inks, and add glossy accents, makes a pretty sort of stained glass.

Beautiful I love those hexagons and the colors are perfect! I am itching to try making backgrounds with rolling color and using stencils on those gel platforms...can't think of the name, but I am sure you know what I mean...

Awesome card! I took this class this summer at the SSBE. Most of the class was new techniques for me. I also took a class and learned to stitch on a card which came out beautifully.
