I wish all my kiddos a very happy first day of school! In my grade, in the deaf and hard of hearing department it works differently. When the kid is 2, they are in my class, so if in the middle of the year they turn 3, they then leave my class and goto the 3-5 year old class. Not the next year, but right then. So if their birthday is in November, they would leave us in the middle of the school year. On the other hand if a kid turns 2 in the middle of the year, they would start up with us as soon as they turn two or perhaps a little before. Even if it is in April or May as the school for DHH runs year round.
We are starting this year with 4 kids. Two will be out by christmas break and in the 3 yr old class and then we will gain more kids in spring time.

The card is so cute! That has to be difficult bonding with those babies and then turning them over to someone else.
