Lil Lolita Ivy
Sweet Lil' Lolita Ivy, here she is and she is so cute! I thought this little outfit reminded me of Alice in Wonderland so I colored her up in a blue combo of colors. I used some gold metallic paper in the card to highlight the color of her hair. I love this image. The stamps from Tickled Pink are so sweet.

Just had to share some art from my dearest Ayana. While seeing her this week she gave me a card that she had made for me. She's gonna grow up and be a card maker too! I just know it. What a loving kid. She was going around the funeral and telling all the people that she loved them. What a joy. Her birthday is this week.

Thank You Friends
Just a little thanks for my online friends who left wonderful comments the other day for my family over the loss of their mother, my Aunt Terry. I shared your comments with them by reading them to the daughters. They were very touched that people all over the world left notes and kind words for them. Aren't stampers just wonderful people?? Please continue to pray for them as this week will be very hard and the funeral is Friday.

Friends
Hold your friends and family close to you. Never forget what is important. I think this week has been so tough losing a loved one we should stop and think of what is really important. Friends and family are important. If you have friends and especially family that you haven't reached out to recently, reach out to them now! You never know when they will be gone. Tell them what you want to say NOW, don't waste any further moments. Even those close to you, tell them everyday. Think of everything you say to them as it might be your last statement.
Never hesitate to tell them that you love them. Big hugs to all of you and most especially to my family, friends and loved ones.

My Scarecrow Friend
Here's a wonderful scarecrow stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie. I have always love scarecrow theme stamps. I have quite a few of them that I will be enjoying now that it is fall time. This sweet one has a little birdie friend. I guess scarecrows are supposed to be scary, but most I see are just too cute to resist!
Something fun happened yesterday, as many of you know I have been getting better and better since surgery and working out more and more everyday. I do about 10-12 miles a day. I bought myself a new skirt, size ZERO!! Who would believe that? This time last year, I was over 65 pounds heavier. A little brain surgery has really changed my life. Hmm, maybe the scarecrow is in a good state of being!!

My Sister and Me
Here's a wonderful new stamp designed by one of the newest artists for Sweet Pea Stamps, Jennifer Nilsson. This image is called My Sister and Me and comes from Plate 80. What a sweet stamp! I used it to make a simple beach card that I could highlight with this image on top of it.
I also used some adorable laser die cut seashells and some wonderful dragonflies. I added a small sun brad that says "Memories". To show the ocean I put in some torn paper in blue and some "foam" using paper in white.

This small highlight shows little fairy with the dragon sitting on her shoulder. Too cute. I colored her with copic markers using several shades a blue and using shades R24, 27 and 29 for the tiny dragon.

Happy Monday Card!
Wishing everyone another great week! Here's a simple watercolor stype card that I did with a small image of a cup of Sunflowers. I stamped them on thick watercolor papers and used some watercolor pencils and an aquabrush to wash over the image. I colored on the paper and washed it gently with some color as well. I double mounted the image and added some color to the mounting papers.
Hope you guys are ready for another great week. I am feeling wonderful. Wishing my Aunt and my nephew very Happy Birthdays. Also, Happy Anniversary to my Sister and her husband.
