Here's an awesome card that I did for Dia de los Muertos. For those of you who don't know about Dia de los Muertos, it's called Day of the Dead, it's Nov 2nd, which is also All Saints Day. It's a day of celebration of those deceased often with prayer and remembrance of friends and family members who have died by making shrines commemorating their favorite things and foods, as well as gathering and exchanging stories about them. It's associated with the Sugar Skull image that I used here, in combination with gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress.
The base of the card is Neenah Solar White Classic Crest. I took a sheet of 8.5x11" and folded it in half and then cut it to fit the card size I needed. The gorgeous green is a Hambly Studio Overlay called Lime Urban Chic Frames. You can also by the Hambly Studio products in wonderful 6x6" packages, which are the perfect size for cardmaking. For the Sugar Skull I am using glossy black paper. I also added a Dia de los Muertos cardstock sticker from Bo Bunny to finish off the card.
