I love this awesome embellishment on this card (yes the lace!), but I was talking about the pot, which very much looks like a turkish coffee pot. Now of course, I am not very good at making coffee in a turkish coffee pot, so I have an automatic coffee maker which does it perfectly. I added a stamp from Hero arts (sentiment and the cup) it says, "you fill my cup completely"

Here's one of my husband's favorite animals. A moose of course. He's always threatened to get a moose head and put it in his man cave (not that we really have a man cave in our house. Frankly our house is not high enough ceilings for a moose head to work, lol. But he still threatens it from time to time. So, here you go darling, I don't want any "trophies" on my wall. I am not a hunter but not necessarily opposed to hunting (unless you are just a trophy hunter!!)

Made this cute card for the DH so he would know that I am thinking about him even though I am so far away in Turkey right now. I hope he is doing well and I am sure he is enjoying his time alone, it's like he has a whole house as a man cave.

Here's the cutest image from Cat's Pajamas Rubber Stamps. I just adore their images, I swear I must own 2/3 of their store, lol. This cat image is too cute and it comes in the best set. I hope you like it. I know meownings are tough, but my home away from home in Turkey has a sweet cat (well, I dunno about sweet), she'll warm up to me sometimes, when she wants something and the owner isn't home.

I love that cute camper and how it turned out that it matched the card perfectly (no I didn't color and make it match, I colored first, then found the embellishment that matched!) I added a great unity sentiment, "Adventure Beckons" sounds like me....

Sharing this card today for my DH because I am so going to miss him! I love you lots sweetie. I hope you have a nice relaxing summer as well. I know that he misses me, but I also know that he enjoys the quiet house to himself. Usually around week 4 to week 6 he's like, I'm ready for you to come home now. That's how I know it's time to come home. And truthfully, by that time, I am ready to go home.

I thought now that I was in Turkey, I would share some cards that I made using stamps that I bought while there. This cute tea pot is one of them. So adorable. They are different companies, but all stamps that I got in Turkiye. Some of them come from a Turkish company, some from various European companies and some from china.

I can't believe when this publishes I will be up in the sky between america and turkiye!!
I know one thing I hope to be doing BEFORE I go on this trip and that is SLEEPING. I always try to sleep on my flight to Istanbul but I don't know if I am too excited too paranoid about snoring or too uncomfortable in those tiny seats but either way I can never fall asleep. And it's like 12 hours on the plane from the time you are seated until you unboard. UGH. I also pretty much NEVER get up to go to the bathroom which means I don't eat or drink either.
Let's hope this next flight goes better and I get some sleep or something. I will just be happy with some WIFI. Please, just a little wifi so I can listen to music or something. Well now I have spotify offline, so I can have music but I would love a little internet! PLEASE, off i go!
This giant coffee word stamp comes from Unity stamps. One thing I do love in Turkey that I miss when I am in America is Turkish Coffee. I don't really love American coffee as much. I don't know the difference, Turkish coffee is thicker and stronger. I don't know. Can't say why I like it better I just do.
I can't wait to get me some Turkish Coffee that's for sure! It's really now just around the corner.

Countdown to the flight is on, we are now at 7 days to go, well it was 7 when I made this posting, but NOW my flight has changed and I am leaving on Thursday! OMG>>>>>>>
WOW. So school really is over. Thankfully. Now there is just a week until I get ready to leave for Turkey. I am so excited. I can't believe it's really going to happen. Who knew? OK I knew I have been planning this for like a year when I got an extra ticket, but still, a year ago everything seemed so uncertain. That being said will so miss the DH.
So much to do before leaving, hmmm.....normally I have so much time to get ready lol. Don't you love the turkish lace on this card? I think it really stands out

Today marks the end of the school year. So glad we have made it. Thankful that there was not as much covid in our district as there could have been (though there was way too much). Thankful that the vaccine has been handed out. Thankful that the kids were able to get their education. Thankful that we have completed another school year. WOO HOO.
Now, time to start summer and have a wonderful well needed break time. I wish all of you the best.
Today is the last day for the kids to be in class. The staff will work tomorrow as the last day of school but today is our last day with the children. I thought this cute card with Lili of the Valley was appropriate as I hope all the kids fly high in the sky not only this summer but all the years to come.
