Well, I can't believe it's the end of August already. Seems like both I just got back from vacation AND that it was forever ago that I was on vacation. Hmmm, how does that work?! Well I am thankful either way. Thankful to have had such a wonderful vacation and thankful to be home. But, here's a little thought of vacay....

We are in week 3 of school here so things should be settling down and the kids are getting into thte routine of everyday school, Here's a fun cat patch that I got in Turkiye plus a great set of embellishments that i got also. Wow, the end of the second week of school is nearing already. It feels like it has been so fast and yet so slow at the very same time, lol. we are in a new facility which as I am sure you would guess still has a lot of kinks to work out. {sigh} Posted this card today because i am told this about a dozen times "Thanks for being there in a pinch," well, that's my job! To take care of all those little things.

Well, now that I am back to school, I really appreciate my weekends. Here we are in week one! WOW. I am sharing this cute card today. Whew! made it to the friday of the first week of school. I am sure anyone who works at a school understands the logistical nightmare of getting 650+ kids to all the right places at all the right times understands how hard that it. To make it to friday is a real Blessing. I am so thankful week one is coming to a close today. Whew!

well, it's the last weekend before School starts, are we ready to get going? I know I am wishing there was a little more time before we got going again. But alas, it's time to start, so here we go....
Missing that cold weather yet? I hear so many complaints about how hot it is. OMG, really people, it's still not as hot as it's going to be next month. For me, I DON'T. I don't miss the cold weather at ALL. Sorry. Bring on the heat. I don't love it, but I will deal with it. WAY better than I will deal with anything cold I will go out in the heat, but not in the cold. Any day.
Never Settle for Just one Scoop! Ha! This adorable Oddball stamp from Stamping Bella is just TOO adorable. I love her. I also added some bright colorful Turkish lace to the mix and beautiful flowers. I thought this card was just perfect for a bright summer day in Texas. Heaven knows with 110 degree weather, we all need some ice cream!!

Here's the funniest owl card that also has some coffee. It says "You've BEAN on my mind a LATTE." ha. You know I love that. At this point I am missing the coffee from Turkiye. I know I can just make some myself, but it's so much nicer to go somewhere and have it fresh made for you.
Here's a great card that I received when I bought some great coffee theme stamps from Robyn. She included this wonderful card and some cofffee treats (candies). I totally recommend her if you see her selling on Facebook.
Here's a sweet card using a wonderful Unity Stamp and some great Turkish Lace to go with it. I haven't broke out the new lace that I got this summer yet, that is coming soon enough, but if you check my store, it will be in there very soon!
Sharing this sweet Kitty card using a Unity stamp this week. I just LOVE these images. I added a sweet sentiment, "A moment in time." I think this summer was filled with a lot of lovely moments of just relaxing and taking everything in. I feel quite rested.
Here's an image from Picket Fences and some fun wood hearts. I am definitely in need of Turkish Coffee right now as I am getting over Jet Lag from the trip home. I have just a couple more days and I will be at school again. Whew. We will be at our brand new campus so I am happy that I won't be going to Webb anymore!
Sharing this fun Unity card today to celebrate getting home and being with the DH. Glad to be back and see him and hear all about his summer and tell him about Turkiye. It's not like we don't communicate in short bursts through texting in the summer, but that's not the same, I'm sure you all know that.
