Your Journey

As 2021 approaches I think we are all hoping for a new path and a new everything.  wasn't 2020 a real trip?  despite the craziness, I have very much to be thankful for from 2020 including 2 new job opportunities, and a wonderful trip to Turkey.  let's all hope 2021 will bring happiness and resolutions for the many who are in need of them.

Scarf Cat

Pretend this card says something warm and fuzzy!  Ha, that's what the sentiment on the edges says.  TOO funny.  I just love these Tim Holtz cat theme stamps and the funny saying that they come with.  I also added some stunning flower lace from Turkey that I got while shopping this summer.  Don't you love it?

Coffee because...

Thought I would come to the end this week with a funny coffee theme card.  Ha! The sentiment here comes from Echo Park.  I just had to get that stamp set to go with all my coffee theme stamps and embellishments.  Hope you are having a great weekend.

here's a funny Oddballs stamp from Stamping Bella. I do so adore this stamp line. I think I own all of them, well, ok not ALL of them, but a pretty substantial amount.  This one is just TOO cute.  I added a sentiment, "Naughty or Nice? let me think on that."

I got some of the cutest cat theme holiday stamps from Tim  Holtz.  I am sure you have seen these snarky cat stamps on my blog before.  This artist has also made adorable stamps for other companies.  I just love the funny sentiment here, "It's all fun & games 'til Santa checks the naughty list."  oops. isn't that the truth?

 Here's a great winter theme card using some lovely Turkish lace.  I adore this cute shaker card kit that i got from Paper Source last year.  This card is just perfect for any winter theme occasion, or for Christmas.  I know a lot of people love snow, but not me.

here's a hilarious card using a fun stamp from Tim Holtz snarky cat line.  I just adore this artist's works, I have images of these stamps from several different companies.  I added a  cute saying "Shiny things everywhere, Am I just supposed to just let that happen?"  HA!

 I added some great turkish lace to the base of this card.  I hope it gave you a little smile today!

Awesome

Here's a super cute penguin card using stamps from Unity stamps.  I do so adore their cute animal images.  I added the sentiment, "you are pretty darn awesome."  I think my DH would love this card.  he is a penguin fan.  He also likes cards that are neat and clean layout.

 Just a few days to Christmas now.  Believe it or not the school district has us working monday!  PFFFF!

Dear Santa

 Here's a hilarious stamp and sentiment from Tim Holtz. I just love the snarky cat stamps.  There's two different sets of winter theme ones, a set of Halloween theme, one set of just snarky cats, plus this artist has also made stamps for a number of other companies.  TOO funny though are the sentiments included with the Tim Holtz stamps.  I also added some great Turkish lace, both at the bottom and some that I trimmed  up on the top.

 Sharing this super cute coffee theme card using a wonderful stamp set from InLoveArtShop.com called Coffee Love Fanatic.  These adorable coffee cups are actually individual stamps, so you don't have to use theme in a line like I did (and like they appear in the image on the stamp set sheet), you can place them however you would like on your card individually.  I  thought they were super cute like this though.

Baby it's cold outside

Here'sa fun winter theme image from La Petite Market today. I love their beautiful stamps.  This one is a wooly mammoth.  TOO cute!  One of the cute mugs says Baby it's Cold Outside.  For Texas that means just about anything less than say, 50 degrees F.  HA!

It's the big 50!

 It's birthday number 50!  CAN  YOU BELEIVE IT?  I sure can't.  Doctors used to say I wouldn't make it this old because of how much seizures and such I had and that my health was bad.  Thank God for Dr Aboumatar and brain surgeries which stopped my seizures 10 years ago.  I know there is still a chance always that they will come back, but I am grateful always for what I have been given.  Almost 11 years now!

Winter Wonderland

 Here's a lovely shaker card using a kit that I got from Paper Source.  I just loved the cards that I made using it.  I added some simple embellishment stickers to finish off this card that I sent out to friends and family last christmas.

Hope you are enjoying the wintertime.  As for me, NO winter wonderland please.  Anything buy cold and snow.  I live in south Texas for a reason.  Ha!

Thank You card

 As promised, here's another wonderful stamp from Sandra Caldwell today.  Both yesterday's and today's stamp will appear in the Etsy store, Babycakes DND today!  This cute stamp is called 3325 Remember When.  I used this image to make a Thank You card with the cutest little thank you shaker stickers.

Snow Cat

 Sharing a preview to a wonderful stamp that will be added to Sandra Caldwell's shop on Etsy tomorrow.  This stamp is called #3365 Snow Cat.  How cute is it?  I just loved this creature.  I added fun Jolee's snowflakes all around him.  Precious.

My opinion

 Sharing this hilarious Tim Holtz image with a funny saying for Christmas.  "Instead of presents this year, I'm giving everyone my opinion."  HA!  I just love these funny cats.  TOO cute. I have added some tiny turkish lace to go on the edges.

Can't believe there's just a week and a half to go before Christmas break.  WOO HOO.

Here's another great card using Lili of the Valley stamp with one of my favorite characters that they have, this cute little dog.  He's so precious. I just love all their stamps with him.  I added a precious sentiment, "LOVE is a FAITH that dreams will come true. Love is YOU."  I added some sweet rose theme lace that I got from Turkiye.

Hello

Here's the cutest bunny from La Petite Market on Etsy.  They have the most adorable sets available. I love this bunny set, I have already made a couple of cards to share using images from this set.  I hope you love her too.  I can't believe  we are already in December!  WOW.

Even though this is a bright spring looking card, he's actually wearing a scarf, so I thought I would share it in fall time.

Winter Girl

 Here's a great Unity stamps girl that comes from one of the Kit of the Months.  I just love getting a great surprise each month in the mail.  It started out as a birthday gift one year but the following year, my husband never cancelled it, so I have been so fortunate to continue to receive it.  How sweet is that?

I thought green was an unusual color for a winter theme card, but I do so love using green sometimes, so I have to match the card to the colors I used on the girl's outfit.  Hope you are staying nice and warm this winter!

School

I thought this card was a cute sentiment for the week since we have just started getting settled in school this year with the new kids who came in November.  I think the kiddos would get a kick out of it.  The fun image and sentiment both come from Taylored Expressions.  I also added some fun lace from Turkiye.
