The base paper on this card is a beautiful yellow that has gorgeous speckles of mica all over it. It glimmers when you open and close it and move it in the light, it's called Mangue. The image was printed on Heavenly White. Under the image I have a wonderful layer of Hambly Studio Overlay. This gorgeous print I cut into a tag shape. This pattern is called Grandma's Wallpaper. I am also using some beautiful ribbon from the store, Gold Oppulence.

Sending out some love
Here's a wonderful image from Simply Betty stamps. I thought I would take a break from doing fall and Christmas theme cards (and now I have started making little mini calendars) to make a love theme card for my hubby.

Brrrr...Cool Treat
Happy Monday everyone! Here's a fun image from Scribbles stamps, this cutie is for the current contest over on Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge. The theme is anything goes this week, as long as you include a sentiment on the front of your card.
This great image is called Brrr...cool treat! Check him out over on the Scribbles site. Then create your own fun card and share it with us at Outlawz! Well, time to go back to school. Sounds like Thanksgiving break was long, but in hindsight it was just TOO quick.
Cheers, Holley

Here's a fun image from My Favorite Things, I just love this little girl dressed up like an Owl, she's precious as can be! I added a sweet sentiment "Hoo Hoo Hoo, Who loves You?" Too cute! I hope you are having a great week post Thanksgiving holidays.
I am about to start back at the school and we now have three and a half weeks until Christmas break. Is it bad that I am counting lol?

Egg Plant
Here's a hilarious image from Sandra Caldwell. I just love this funny stamp, it's called Egg Plant 1458. I added some little embellishments (like sequins) that I got in Istanbul last year. I totally wish I could be traveling there again this summer but right now there is no way for people from the USA to get a VISA.
Hope this card gave you a little laugh today. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Holley

Simple Blessings
Here's a sweet and simple card full of Simple blessings for the season. It actually opens in the center, though that's hard to see because of how dark the cardstock is. The stamp and sentiment both come from Unity Stamps. I thought this card would be perfect for thanksgiving time. But you could also use a stamp like this for Halloween as well.
So now that we are in the season are you enjoying any pumpkin treats?
I have definitely been having some pumpkin cookies from the local store, some pumpkin caramels from Marich, some pumpkin bagels from Einsteins and some wonderful homemade pumpkin bread that I got at the last church bazaar.

Leaf and flower cards
Here's some gorgeous leaf and floral cards that I made to sell at this year's bazaar. A friend at church just loves to find beautiful leaves and flowers and press them. She gives them to me and I take them and turn them into cards that get sold and the profits donated to the charity that year.

Grateful for you!
Here's a wonderful set of stamps from Unity Stamp Company. I got this great Fall theme pumpkin set and made a handful of cards with it. I just love their cute pumpkins and the lovely sentiments that it came with. I had a blast making several combos onto papers and them coloring them up to make some quick and cute little fall time cards.
Hope you are ready for the upcoming holiday. Here school will be closed all of next week so WOO HOO, I will have the whole week off. I am very much looking forward to that.
Cheers, Holley

Giving Thanks
Here's a Thanksgiving theme card that I made using some great stamps from Unity stamp company and wonderful papers from Paper Temptress. The papers are just so shimmery that I wish the image captured the real beauty of them!
The sentiment and the pumpkin where printed out on Neenah solar white classic crest. The base of the card is a wonderful sheet of Mica/Metallic in Flame. I then used two layers of gorgeous cardstock underneath the pumpkin stamp, the black is actually a beautiful shimmery Incandescent paper called Nero. Underneath the Nero is some wonderful Mica/Metallic paper called Citrine.

99% angel
Here's an awesome image from Sweet Pea stamps. I so miss this company. I am thankful to have worked for them for many years so I have lots of rubber and digi stamps of their goodies. This cutie has such a fun attitude. I also did her up as a Christmas theme card, but I thought she would also work as a general theme stamp
I hope you are all having a great week. Better start all getting ready for Thanksgiving as it is approaching so very quickly!

Sharing Bloobel Stamps
Here's a stamp you all had to know I would love. This image is too quirky and fun, which is right up my alley. It's from Bloobel Stamps. She recently put a bunch of her wonderful images on sale and I had to scoop up a whole bunch of them before they got retired. This one is still available for just $1 and is called Letting Go
I am using some Bazzil paper here and some fun Washi tape. I hope you are all having a great day and that this card gave you a little smile. You can check out this fun artist on her site, Bloobel stamps

There's a wonderful contest going on right now on the Your Scrapbook Place blog that is a card challenge this month sponsored by the East Wind. Drop by over there and enter your newest card to share with us. The contest is Anything goes!
I am using some great lace from Istanbul on this card. I think it goes perfect with the delicate image of Lucy Loo in this photo.
Thanks for those who asked about the Bazaar, the church sold almost 3/4 of what you all saw!! that was a great addition to the money that they earned. I was so happy about that. I took what was left today to my work and sold about 3/4 of what I had left, so looks like I will be starting from scratch next year. Guess I better get started now!

My Darling
Here's a beautiful lady from Sassy Studio. I just love this artist's images. I do so miss her online as I believe she has now stopped making digi stamps. I have taken off work today as the church bazaar is tomorrow so I want to get there today to help with the set up. There is going to be so much work today. Funny how a day off will be more work than a simple day at work.
Have a great weekend everyone and if you live in the Austin TX area, please come by the Crestview United Methodist Church for the Annual Bazaar at 9-1. We will have food and crafts. I did a ton of wonderful cards that you see on my blog, lovely jewelry, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and more. Plus we usually have some vendors too.

Dia de los Muertos
Here's a quick and cute card that combines some great Hambly Studio Overlays from Paper Temptress to make a bright and fun festive card for Dia de los Muertos. Some time ago, I shared a card and talked about Dia de los Muertos (and I am sure I have shared many more cards, but at least once I talked about the actual holiday, which is quite popular where I grew up in south Texas).
I am using a cute wood mounted stamp, it's a brand I don't know, but it was just a dollar or so and makes the cutest image!
It works perfect with these bright and beautiful papers from Paper Temptress for this holiday. I started with Basis Black for my background. Again, when I don't have cardstock that gives me 6" cards, I just take an 8.5x11" sheet, fold it half and make a 5.5" square card like this one shown. I then added super cute layers of Hambly Studio overlays. The first layer is pink bows called Pink Bow Ties. Then I made a 3 layer sandwich of Neenah solar white, my stamped image, also on Neenah solar white, and a cut out from the Hambly Studio Overlay called Urban Chic Frames in lime.
