Here's one of the cutest new images from Sherri Baldy. This adorable little stamp is just perfect. I colored her up in bright springtime colors and put her on a card with yellow and green flowers. She looked perfect just as she was. I wanted to add more embellishments, but she was just as cute as she could be without anything further.
The wonderful challenge over on the SSS Challenge blog this week is anything goes, so drop on by over there and share your Sherri Baldy creations with us! I'd love to see your awesome creations.
Cheers, Holley

Sweet
Here's a sweet kitty kat image from Crafter's Companion. Just a little love for this Holy Week before Easter time. I couldn't find any bunny images. I have a group of Easter cards later this week. Some super cute images from Sweet Pea stamps to share.
Hope you are all having a great week and have some fun plans for the holiday. My church is having a petting zoo for all the kids in the neighborhood to come out to. Most of the kids from the city here would never have the chance to see farm animals so this is a wonderful experience for most of them.

Celebrate
Here's an awesome image from SLS Lines. I totally love this artist's images. This digi stamp is called Goth Girl with Heart Balloons. I used some embossed stitched cardstock in the background and some sanded cardstock from Doodlebug as the card base. Just had to add black flowers since she's a goth girl.
Hope you are having a great day. I can't believe we are almost in April now. We have had a lot of March showers and march freezing, so I guess we will now see if we get April showers too. Right now though the weather is just amazing. I hope that it will hold out until Easter Sunday next week as we are having a petting zoo for all the kids.
Cheers, Holley

Springtime
Here's an awesome image from Sweet Pea artist Mitzi Sato-Wiuff. This image is called Little Miss Mushroom. Isn't she just darling? I did this card up in bright spring colors and added a simple sentiment "Celebrate the everyday." I know now that we have moved from some dreaded winter weather to the nice everyday 60-70 degree weather that I am definitely doing that.
This week on the Sweet Pea Blog all the design team members are creating cards using images from Mitzi, so drop by over there to see lots of creations using her image or go to the facebook Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans page where we all share cards, have fun contests and chat daily.

Card for a Cause, it's World Purple Day!
It's World Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness. Lizzy Love (Oddball Art Media) is having a totally awesome Blog Challenge this month, it's Cards for a Cause. To create a card and share your Card for a Cause. It just happens to coincide with this special occasion. I am sure most of you know that I just celebrated my fifth year seizure free post two brain surgeries. So my card is for a cause very near and dear to my heart (or my brain!). Maybe that's part of why I love the Lizzy Love images so much, all those zombie, brain images, lol! Here's my husband's comment about the skull on this card...."Hmmm, the scar on those skulls is just a little bit too much to the left." (meaning compared to the HUGE scar I have running down my head and all the back around to my ear).
Here's my purple card for World Purple Day, I hope this card inspires you all enough to run and go put your Purple on today!!

Here's some basic facts about Epilepsy, why we are trying to bring awareness
Epilepsy effects at least 1 % of the world's population, that's 70 MILLION people in this world;
In half the cases, the cause of Epilepsy is unknown.
Epilepsy causes more deaths per year than Breast Cancer; About 1 in 1000 people with Epliepsy will die unexpectedly. This is called SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Eplipesy). It's more likely in those persons who do not have medical control of their seizures. About 30% of people with Epilepsy are in that state. They get no control with any medication available. It costs over 50,000 American's per year.
New treatments has been found for that 30% including Cannabis Oils whose early trials have had remarkable results for many people who spent YEARS taking many other drugs and combinations with no results. Many states are already approving or have approved it long ago with doctor's orders. It's very important the politicians leave this option open for DOCTORS!!! No doctor is just going to hand this treatment to a patient, unless they have tried everything else first. So please urge your local politicians to leave the choice up to the medical doctors
Check this facebook story for one child's fight for medication. Team Alexis. She was one of that 30% who found immediate relief with this new treatment. Obviously it hits a real nerve with me as I used to be one of those 30% and as you may know I still watch very close every year and know that I could go back to that state. I am incredibly grateful where I am now but I know if I go back to seizures, once again that prescription drugs may not help me. Last time I was taking 5 different medidcations at a time.
Check out the Challenge over at the Oddball Art Media site to see the cards others shared for their causes. Awesome Idea Lizzy Love!! Very inspiring.
Cheers, Holley

Easter's on its way
Here's the cutest Easter theme card that I wanted to do in totally non traditional easter colors. I had this fun image from Sandra Caldwell of Sweet Pea stamps called A Hunting She Will go. I colored her up with copic markers and paired her with gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress.
The base layer of the card is beautiful shimmery mica called Amber. It's so gorgeous in person. The orange cardstock is used to layer the image, the tag and the strip is Orange Basis. The blue layering paper is ruche which has a wonderful texture to it and gives a nice feel to the card, it's called Deep Blue Crepe. The image was printed out on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest Paper and colored with Copic markers.
Here's a close up of this adorable image from Sandra Caldwell.
Drop by and share you wonderful cards with Sweet Pea images at the Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans website and check out the amazing papers and specials at Paper Temptress!

Irresistable!
Here's a brand new image from SLS Lines, just perfect for summertime. She's a fun fairy image so I colored up her shimmery wings in blue and added some glitter to give a translucent feel to them, then I add some perfectly matching ribbon to the wings. I used a red and pink combo to finish off the card.
There's a wonderful contest going on over at the SLS Challenge Blog, be sure to drop by over there and join in. The contest is Anything Goes so go on over there and play along. Today SLS Line is having their monthly release over on their blog, so drop by and see all of the awesome images that going out this month, there's a number of fun fairy images like this one, click here.

All I want....
Happy Saturday everyone, I am sure you all know who this card is for....I know he knows why I am posting these cards lately. All I want is to be together with you! She's called Ohh La La. All the colors and the embellishments are in pink though I think the bling looks a little bit more clear than it does in person. Perhaps when the hubby comes home I should find something pink....
Ike's Art is having a great challenge over on their blog, it's colored hair. They have some awesome samples from their design team. I chose this one to share today, but I just love their samples. You guys know that I often choose bright non-traditional hair colors, but for this card for the hubby, I wanted to be a little more real.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Project Materials: Cardstock (MAMBI, Neenah, Bazzill); Image (Ike's Art); Lace (JoAnn's); Bling (Recollections); Die Cut (); Colors (Copic Markers); Sentiment (Cosmo Crickett); Adhesives (pop dots, glue all, ribbon glue, glue dots);

Good Morning!
Here's a wonderful Sweet Pea stamp from artist Zoimar Lezama. This adorable image is called Good Morning. Isn't she too cute? I just love her. I have been working on creating cards using colors that are not my usual, so Green is a big one for me. This green and brown combo seems to go well together.
Be sure and check out the other fun images from Zoimar Lezama's collection. My total favorite has got to be Pastel Goth, oh Cutie! Drop by our Facebook group called Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans where we have all sorts of card sharing, chatting, great contests and fun!

Love
Love this stunning image from Slinky Tarts. Had to make my hubby a little sexy or as Slinky Tarts calls it, Smexy card. Hope he will be checking out my blog later and seeing it. Love you dear!
He even likes the purple, so that will definitely be a hit with him.
How's everyone doing? I would hope that if you are inside the USA, that your packages have reached you by now. I have been hearing from people regularly now that their goodies have arrived. I'd love to see anything fun that you create with them. For the Post Blog Candy redraw winners, I mailed out the package to Kathy and sent the digi prize out to Annette. Enjoy. This Saturday I will be sharing a handful of cards that I have received.
Cheers, Holley

Gorgeous
Here's an awesome image from Dilly Beans. I love this artist's work. She has both big eye women as well as some great skull/quirky type images. Very much the type I enjoy. this image is called Daisy Girl Framed.
They are having a March challenge over on their site, it's for adding green to your card. I guess I only have a touch of green, but this is a very spring filled card covered in flowers, so I hope that itself makes it qualify as I did use green as well.
Project materials: Cardstock (Paper Temptress, Neenah, Bazzill, Metallic); Image (Dilly Beans); Color (Copic markers); Buttons (Queen & Co); Sentiment ();

Fantasies
Here's an awesome stamp from Simply Betty Stamps called Goblin Queen. If you are in her facebook group occasionally she has a freebie or a discounted stamp that is offered if you promise to make and share a card or take part in a special event. It's totally awesome as I love her images and buy from her store regularly, so it's a great way to get an extra now and then from an artist whose images I adore. The topic was "light" or "dark" so, as you can see, I opted towards dark this time even though pretty much all my crafting for the last month or more as been on the lighter side.
Hope you all like this card today, have a great weekend. I am sure like much other places, our local schools are having spring break this coming week.Cheers, Holley

If you like the Screenprints, you can get them in a 6x6 assortment pack, which gives you a large assortment that are the perfect size for card fronts. I hope you will take the Key to my Heart
Here's an awesome image from Lizzy Love of Oddball Stamps. I just adore this artist's images. So great. I am using pinks and warm greys on this card and I just love the bats on there.
They have a great contest on their group's facebook page each month. I can't get enough of this artist's images. I added a key and a heart at the base of this card, I know my hubby knows just what that means.
They are also having a great Love Theme contest over on the Oddball Challenge Blog, which is Love theme this month. As you guys all know. I do like making love them cards and I am really like the pink with a warm colored grey lately.
For the prize winners--all the mailed packages have gone out now, so everyone should be getting them!
For the digi stamp winners-- 2 Cute Ink sent out the prizes today! Enjoy. I sent payment to Sweet Pea stamps so those winners should get their stamps soon! I am waiting to hear back from both Atelier Oz, but the store has a list of the winners as well as the images they want.

Witch on a pumpkin
Here's an awesome image from SLS Lines. I totally love this artist's mix of beautiful and quirky images. This fun image is Halloween Pinup, pretty witch on a pumpkin. How gorgeous is she? I added a wonderful sentiment from Henry David Thoreau "I'd rather sit alone on a pumpkin and have it all to myself than be crowed on a velvet cushion."
Check of the SLS Lines store over on Etsy and join in our Challenge contest. The new contest will be coming on the 12th, so you have just a couple days to enter the last contest.
Ok I got the last bunch of packages mailed: Ionabunny, Larissa, Lora, Patricia, Nikki; I am still waiting to hear from winners of Sweet Pea stamps, please email me your choices. I need to get everyone's choices before I can contact the store.
I am also waiting to get the images back from 2 Cute Ink Stamps and Atelier Oz.
Thanks for your patience! On the good side, I am already seeing emails, photos on blogs and facebook of people who have gotten their packages!! Woo Hoo!
Cheers, Holley

Hello Sweet Friend
Here's the cutest new stamp from Scrapbook Stamp Society artist Sherri Baldy, Img523. We are having a contest over on the SSS Challenge blog this week, it's Anything Goes with stitching as the alternative. I have stitching done on the two blue/green papers. I really think those colors make the image POP right off the card. I added a sweet sentiment from Cosmo Cricket and some adorable brads from Around the Block.
Drop by the SSS Challenge blog and join in the fun. There's a freebie that you can use for the contest, I shared it last week on my Monday posting. Create something fun and share it for the contest. The winners will get some wonderful images from Sherri!
Cheers, Holley
NOTE: Digi stamp prize list was sent to Atelier Oz last night, I hope to hear back from them later today so I can make the payment and you will get your goodies. I am waiting for just a couple more people from Sweet Pea stamps before I submit the list to the store owner. 2 Cute ink has been given their store list and I am awaiting to hear back from them.

Pressed Leaves
Here's some more gorgeous pressed flower and leaf cards that I made using some stunning specimens given to me by a friend at church.
"Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."
Happy Sunday everyone!
If you missed my posting yesterday, or if you came in the morning, I posted a HUGE list of all the packages that went out in the mail, you can check yesterday's posting to see all the packages that went out, but essentially it was all but maybe 6 of them. Also, for digi prize winners. I am only waiting on 2 winners for the Atelier Oz image winners to send the list to the store and I have sent the winner list to Sweet Pea stamps already, so you should be getting contacted pretty quickly. I did send the image list to 2 Cute Ink Stamps and I am waiting for that store to bill me or contact me for payment, but they already have everyone's requests.
If you rec'd a digi prize and haven't heard from me, PLEASE drop me an email!! You should have at least gotten a message from me about your prize even if your prize hasn't arrived yet.

Katrina
Here's a lovely image from Tiddly Inks, she named Katrina. I am using some of the gorgeous ribbon I got when in Istanbul. It makes me think of the kids who are probably already thinking about prom. I know I have a niece who recently posted about buying her prom dress. I asked her for a picture but she said it's top secret until prom comes.
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. If you are like Texas, then you are cold and wet and probably have been for a couple weeks already. We get about 1 good day a week lately which is odd. Typically by now we are in the 70s or better, so the current weather is about 20 degrees below normal. Needless to say I am getting stir crazy in the house.
I mailed over 20 packages yesterday, so if you didn't see the list, go back and check if your package went out. Almost all the rest of the packages went out today, there's just a handful let to mail now. These went out today: Berina, Virginia, Nancy, Karissa, Sara, Diane, Carol, Pam, Linda W, Shell B, Pat, Lucie, Shannon, Holly, Sandy, Teresa, Conie, Sher, Vinita, Ionabunny, Pat R, Gemiel, Carol Ann, Amy, Paula, Mary K, Barbara M, Linda T, Linda C, Gail, Sue, Melody.
I hope to get the rest of the packages out by Monday!!

Here's an awesome image from Simply Betty Stamps. She's called Steampunk Louise. Love Betty's fun images. SO many of her fun images. This one comes with a great sentiment "Hey There Big Shot"
Hope your week is going well. Again I am stuck at home due to rain and cold. I have gotten a LOT of packages wrapped up though. So, the mailing process is going well. I can't wait until they are all in the mail and you all start getting your goodies.Cheers, Holley
OK, now here's the packaging progress, believe it or not, I have composed all but about 10 of the mailable packages. Not all of them have the addresses yet nor are they taped up, but all the goodies are getting in the envies and being labeled!!
I hope today to send out messages to the rest of the digi winners so they can go and pick their stamps! So keep your eye out for that if you won digi stamps.

The World is full of possibility
This week at Sweet Pea stamps we are featuring artist Linda Biggs. This fun image is called Sweet Pea. I thought it so fun to see a fairy standing in a bowl of sugar near a teabag, what more sentiment could go with that than "The world is full of possibility." I had to add this artistic butterflies on the same idea. More importantly, as the month comes to an end, in thinking of all that has gone on in my life, I truly know that the world is indeed FULL of possibility and even when YOU have given up, there is someone right around the corner who has the answer for you.
There's wonderful candy from Sweet Pea stamps, both digi and rubber stamps, so please leave a comment today. If you haven't left comments on the previous posting, including Feb 1st, please do so! Final winners will get announced March 1st. Then the packages will be announced each day as they start hitting the mail boxes. As for the digi stamp winners, I will be contacting them to let them know or to find out which stamps they would like and then putting them in contact with the proper company contacts!Hugs all, Holley

A pile of them already sitting in their envies waiting for a last minute check and then to get wrapped up and have their addresses wrote on them!!
As for the Digi winners, I am working on that too, you can see my notebook there on the left side, it's got each winner's name, now listed under the company who will be sending their prize, so starting Monday I will be going one company at a time to contact people and let them know so they can check out the stamps they want and send me their list. Then I will need to get the info from each winner together (i.e. however long it takes everyone to get in touch with me and decide) and then send them to the company in one big email! Hopefully that will get started later tomorrow.
Cheers everyone!!
