Since I have started sharing halloween cards, let me share this one with a black card made from bling! I also added some great Turkish Lace to the corners. I think it is just the right accent to this card. I can't believe we are on the last week of Sept now and Oct is just a week away! WOW
Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to share a Halloween theme card today because it is just around the corner! This card comes from a wonderful kit 2-year-olds got from SEI. I just love making Halloween theme! I am working at my school with the 2 year olds and one thing I do every day is crafts with them. it's SO cute. I get to come up with projects every day.

Here's a card for a Cat friends. It says, "It's a CAT thing" How cute is this? I have more than a couple crazy cat lady friends. I don't put myself that high on the cat lover level, but I do adore cats. I don't think the cat we had for so long loved me as much as I loved her.
Hello Beautiful! Sharing this sweet and simple card that I made using a packet (scrapbooking packet) from Simple Stories. It was actually supposed to be for scrapbooking wedding theme photos, but I chose to make cards with it because I don't anticipate having a wedding activity anytime soon.

Here's one of my favorite animals, Owls! I just love them. We have a couple of different breeds of owl that show up in our backyard in the evenings from time to time. They are just amazing. They don't look all that big until they open out their wings and you can see their amazing wingspan. WOW.
Here's a Simple Stories card. I love their wonderful kits. This one is very heritage style. I love the windmill. Makes me think of the ranch that my family used to own. We didn't have any chickens, though my great grandma did at one time. I can recall when neighborhood chickens were all the rage here in Austin TX and these houses in my neighborhood had chickens around in their back yard, lol!

Happy Monday everyone! It's now week 5 of school. Today will be an observance of the events of 9/11. It's such a hard thing to really explain to most kids as young as we have what really occurred. They have never lived in a pre- 9/11 world. The upper 4th and 5th grades can perhaps grasp some of the detail, but the younger grades it's very limited what we can explain to them. At any rate. My heart still go out to all those affected by those events. Thank you to all the rescue workers!

Here's a project from my mother, Gayle T, that was done at the convention we went to in October. We had fun in the mornings before we went to the convention by opening up card making kits and putting the projects together!

Been showing a lot of cat theme cards lately, how about a cute little dog today. Here's a simple but fun dog theme card. I like both cats and dogs. Maybe cats just a tiny bit more because our last pet was a cat. but when stamping or cardmaking, I love both cats and dogs.

well the end of the first month of school is coming to an end, it wasn't really a month of school even though the staff started on the 4th. Here's a card for Wednesday. It's a funny cat themed card. I am using a great 3D sticker from Recollections paired with some sticker sentiments, "Cattitude" and "I demand the royal treatment." Ha, now doesn't that sound like a cat?

Happy Tuesday everyone! We are all happy to be back at school again and see our kiddos. Is it funny that I refer to these kids as "MY kiddos?" Often in conversation I just say, my kids. I am talking about my school kids, lol. It often confuses people.
