Here's an awesome image from The East Wind. I adore this artist's drawings esp this particular character of hers.  There's a wonderful contest going on in her Facebook group, "I've been Framed." To make a card that has a "photo" like image, I though this girl really looks like she is posing for a picture.  I added a sentiment "true love forever in my heart"

Hope you all are ready for a new month because believe it or not, it's APRIL tomorrow! WOW.  and this is not an April Fool's joke either.  Can you believe it?  This year is flying by already.

Whimsical Flowers part 2

Here's a gorgeous image from the Whimsical Flowers Clip Art collection.  This wonderful collection has 6 images for only $6.  I just love this image and decided to create a card using a reddish brown and yellow combination.

Check out all the other beautiful flowers included in this wonderful clip art set.  They would be awesome for the current challenge!  I hope everyone is enjoying spring time now.  When spring started for most of the USA, it started with a really strange cold spell.  Winter had been going with a really unusual warm spell then all of sudden here's spring with cold weather!

Looks like now we are getting back to normal.  Whew!  you know 85 degree spring.

A pure delight!

Here's the cutest image from artist Sherri Baldy.  I love her wonderful new collection of lady stamps and the new fluffy besties that she has come out with. If you haven't seen all her new images, be sure and check out the store at My Besties Shop.

I hope you all have wonderful plans for Easter tomorrow and will get to be with your families. I will be staying here and going to work at the church but I look forward to seeing the petting zoo and all the little kid's reactions to the adorable animals. Should be really special.

For You!

Here's a lovely combo of beautiful papers from Paper Temptress and a sweet image from Sandra Caldwell.  This lovely image is the prize that Sandra gave to all the participants in the Bookmark contest last month, it's called For You Thanks 15.  I colored it with copic markers and created this card using wonderful specialty papers from Paper Temptress.

The image is printed on Neenah Solar white classic crest paper.  The shimmery sides are mica/metallic in Amythst.  The background of the card is basis black. The wonderful gold print is a clear Hambly Studio Screenprint called Gold Hanging Heliconias.  These wonderful screenprints are fun to play with and come in 12x12 sheets and also a 6x6" variety pack which is just perfect for cardmaking!

New Challenge

A brand new challenge has begun over on the SLS Lines Challenge blog, the theme is Spring and I made this lovely floral card for the theme. I thought orange and purple would be an interesting combination of colors with a touch of green.  While I do love orange, I rarely use purple, so this was a challenge for me to use.

I added a simple sentiment that is a cardstock sticker.  This image comes from a wonderful set of images called Whimsical Flower Clipart Set.  It comes with 6 different images for only $6.  Later this month I will be sharing another image from this set.

Owl Always Love you

Here's a darling owl image that just came out this week in the Babycakes DND shop on Etsy designed by Sandra Caldwell.  Aren't they cute?  they are called Owl we a couple 360.  I added a fun cardstock sentiment "Owl always be with you" and some simple patterend card background from Pebbles with some green bling and green die cuts.

Happy Monday everyone, it's time for this week's challenge over at the Outlawz challenge blog. Here's a couple fun images from Melonheadz.  They have a whole bunch of adorable skeletons in this set, called Bag of Bones  You get 12 different images in line format for only $5.  Here's two of the images, a witch and wizard that are TOO cute.  There's so many fun characters included.  THis card is for the upcoming Monday challenge on Outlawz which starts tomorrow, the theme is it's Hip to be Square.

Snobby Lady

Here's a gorgeous image from SLS Scheibe today.  This stunning image is called snobby lady in her Esty store SLS Lines.  I wanted to make a fun spring card using this woman. I just love her hair. I added a simple die cut flower from Darice.

Happy St Patrick's Day plus a Guest Card

During last month's celebration I was sharing some adorable images from Miss Rach stamps.  A friend Virginia had commented that she would just love to see a tortoise stamp as that is what she has and does many projects for.  In response Miss Rach drew one up and immediately shared it as a freebie on her blog!  How great is that?

Virginia made this adorable St Patrick's day card using the tortoise image (note, hat added on by Virginia, the image itself is just the tortoise).

as inspiration from Virginia, I chose to take the same image and make my own St Patrick's Day card using the same fun image from Miss Rach stamps.  Totally drop by Miss Rach blog as she posts adorable freebies all the time, this cute tortoise was posted on Feb 13th.

Happy Easter

Are you making Easter plans this year?  I know I will be at my church so I won't be traveling anywhere.  Our church has been setting up a display with farm animals every year. It's just so adorable to see all the kids in the city and their first interaction with baby farm animals.

Pigtails

Here's the cutest image from artist Sandra Caldwell.  She's called Pigtails 281. Too fun.  It very much makes me think of being a child and doing your own hair that you are so proud of and your parents (and others) are a little horrified of.  ha!  I colored up her dress like a cute little sunflower and made her hair the color of the center of the sunflower, a reddish brown.

Goth Girl

Sweet Heart Panda

Here's the cutest Sweetheart Panda card using a fun image from Oddball Art images by Lizzy Love and some gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress.  I wish you could see these papers in person as the red paper has flecks of mica in it and it's just shimmery with the gloss of the printed transparency.  So beautiful together.

The base of the cardstock is made with brown paper bag stock and I brushed the edges with warm red Colorbox Chalk ink.  The top hear is die cut using a Spellbinders heart die from a wonderful sheet of Hambly Studio Overlays in White Hanging Heliconia.  The red is a beautiful shimmery paper with flecks of mica inside called Vermillion Sparkle. For this darling panda bear I printed it from a digi stamp image on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest paper.

Bird Crazy...

One of the prizes given was the adorable set of Tim Holtz Bird stamps. I totally LOVE these images. It was a set that my dear hubby (DH) bought me for Christmas.  A wonderful friend (Kathy) donated a brand new set of those stamps to my celebration this year!  Thanks so much.  And while I am saying it, a huge thanks to Cindy, Pat, Mary, Virginia for all the stamps they sent over this past year to help with the postage.  It really helped a lot ladies.  Huge hugs!

How awesome is this?  It really makes me smile.  This image captures how I feel, like I have so very much to celebrate. It's why I will send out packages all over the world, to celebrate my happiness and my gratitude for what I have been given.

New contest at YSBP!

Sunday Best

Here's a lovely image from Artist Sandra Caldwell, I just adore this lady, she's called Sunday Best 280.  How sweet is this?  I just adore her lady images.  well here we are in March and it's time to start wrapping up packages and getting them out in the mail.  Now I have three piles, HUGE piles of goodies, smaller piles of envies and a tiny pile of postage.

Today all of the blog candy winners were announced!! Did you see the Grand Prize winner list?  Check it out!!

So here's a little bit about the process, so I take the main winner list and the grand prize winner list and make a document, it is 11 PAGES LONG.  I sit there for a good day and go through the whole month and for each prize winner make notes next to their name the responses they may have left about their likes/dislikes....so, I do pay attention when possible.  I also keep track of which are things to mail and which are email using color coding as well as double/triple winners.....

Then later as things get mailed out they will be color coded as they go out.  Sounds crazy huh?  after six years, it looks like a mess but is down to a science, lol!

(NOTE: I have blotted out everyone's address info!! )

For about the next 2 weeks, this set of papers won't leave my hands much and I will learn them back and forth lol!

There's a bunch of adorable smaller size stamp sets and dies that will be going out in packages, esp to overseas people as those are small enough to include in a single letter size envelope without extra postage.  Just too many to list, so they will all have to remain a surprise until you get them

Please be patient in the mailing process and getting your digis. I have to compile a lot of lists and hear from ALL the winners to a particular company before I can submit the winners and get the images.  However, if too much time goes by and you never get your prize, PLEASE let me know.  There's always a chance at that.  While I can't replace exactly what you won, I usually get a package back eventually and I always have some unclaimed goodies that I can send.
