Hi everyone! Here's a real cutie from SSS Artist Sherri Baldy. The contest over on the SSS Challenge blog is to create a card using your favorite color. Well, pick one of your favorite colors. I think my most dominate color of the year has been pink. It's definitely a color that I have used a LOT of and more and more this year. So it was my primary for this card. This adorable image is IMG376. I colored up the flower in pink to match the fun ribbon and added a sentiment from Cosmo Crickett.
Drop by the SSS Challenge blog this week and join in the fun! Share with us your favorite color and your favorite image from Sherri! If you win, you will get a bunch of wonderful images! I can't wait to see what you create.
Cheers, Holley

Candy Corn
Check out this adorable little Corn Candy Doll Digi Doodle Stamp. This comes from artist Sandra Caldwell. She sells some digis on her Esty site plus has a wonderful array of stamps at Squigglefly (click here). Here's a little cutie that makes a quick and easy Halloween card for those Candy Corn lovers you know.
Do you like the bat borders on the side? How about the spider web corners? I must confess that I never liked candy corn, but they are totally my favorite colors!! And, of course, they were my mother's favorite in the fall time.
Have you seen all the weird candy corn flavors recently? I have seen a few before, but this year esp, I am seeing a HUGE amount of candy corn in wild colors and flavors like:

Little Seahorses Mermaid
Don't you just love Sweet Pea artist Elaine Cox? She makes some beautiful whimsical characters. Here's a mermaid that I totally adore. This image is called Little Seahorses Mermaid. I added a simple sentiment from Cosmo Crickett "Embrace each day as it comes." I wanted to do a monotone card in all greens to match up to her beautiful green tail.
Here's a close up of this image, which is also sold in digital format.
Elaine Cox also has some totally stunning lady images, as well as some adorable teddy bears, cute owls, and a whole assortment of Alice in Wonderland themed stamps.

Caught in the Spider Web
Here's a quick and cute card that you can make for Halloween. It's stunning looking because of the awesome paper from Paper Temptress. The background is a shimmery Mica and it's layered with diecuts all over with an adorable image in the center. This cutie is a skellie image from Bugaboo.
Start with some shimmery Flame mica cardstock in A2 size. Cut out 4 die cut spider web corners using Eclipse black paper. Carefully mount them to each corner using tiny dots of glue in a handful of places. The image is printed on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest. This paper runs through my printer so wonderfully. It's perfect for digi images and copic marker coloring.
It's a perfect little Halloween card! I love the dimensional look that it has. Think of all the other ways to use this idea simply by changing the colors of the cardstock or the image in the center!

Witchy Woman
Here's a gorgeous image from Stamping Chef, I just love her images and chose this one to be Halloween theme, though, you know me, I would use it any time of year! Those cute little buttons are some that I got at the most recent scrapbook convent from Queen & Co.
Going to post this card in this week's TSC Challenge. Hope you are all having a great day, I am off to the dentist (OUCH!) just a cleaning though.
Cheers, Holley
Also Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge is having one using Spots or Dots this week

Lizzy Loves You
Here's an awesome image from Lizzy Love. I showed your a fun card I made with one of the images I purchased from her last week, it was a zombie card in a casket shape. This cutie here was a freebie that she gave out in her Facebook group. I don't know if it still available there, but I totally recommend that group as it's full of fun cards using her images, it's Mixed Mediaology Oddball Art Stamps Co. You will see a bunch of cards using this fun image especially.
I am using this image for the Challenge this month, which is to include lots of circles, I see circles in everything, the bling across the bottom, the pattern paper in the background, the skull buttons, even the tiny wood embellishments on the banner.
Cheers, Holley

Here's a card that's harder than you might think! The challenge is called Back to the Basics. Cuppie Cake Celebration!
Here's just the cutest Skellie image from Bugaboo. I totally love their adorable images, esp the Skellie kids. There's a challenge going on over at Fab'n'Funky Challenges this week sponsored by Bugaboo and you need to include a number on your card. So, where's the number on my card you ask? Just check out that Be Mine ticket! What a clever way to have a number on there, those adorable little numbered tickets!! Is it cute that the ticket number is 02142011 or, as I sure you figured out, 02/14/2011 (prob the year in which it was designed).
Hope you loved this cute little Skellie image. Have a wonderful weekend!

I'll put a spell on you!
Here's an awesome image from Kraftin' Kimmie. I totally love their stamps, esp the Halloween themed ones. This voodoo lady is no exception. I have to say the sentiment here totally makes me think of that old song. So when I read that sentiment, it's always in the voice of that singer (Jay Hawkins).
There's an anything goes challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie blog so I am going to show this card to them. I have so many wonderful Halloween stamps (who am I kidding, I own like every Annie Rodrigue image and a bunch of others....) that I have to get cards made with before the season is over....

Lizzy Love
Here's the cutest Lizzy Love image! I am totally adoring this artist's work. I initially fell in love with her images when I used to design at Queen Kat stamps. Now she sells her images on her own Esty site HERE. I got several beautiful images recently and she gave away a wonderful freebie on her facebook page (you'll see a card of that soon enough).
I thought this saying was perhaps double funny for a zombie who is both without their own brain as well as looking for a brain to feed upon. There's a challenge going on that's called lots of circles, so I added some round bling that goes all the way up and down these adorable casket shaped cards I had. See their contest HERE.
p.s. I asked my hubby what color to do the zombie in, his response was PINK. SO there, it's not just me always picking the pink!!
Project Materials: Card (Crafter's Companion); Paper (Neenah); Image (Lizzy Love); Ink (Colorbox Chalk); Bling (Unknown); Sentiment (); Color (Copic markers); Die Cut (Spellbinders Nestabilities); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue all, Glue dots);

Back to school
Here's a wonderful image that was given by an artist I love from Ike's Art. Typically I tend towards her Halloween/sexy lady images. She also has some skull types which you know I adore. This image was a wonderful freebie that he had on his challenge blog, so I just had to share a card using it.
I added a simple sentiment "Shine Bright like a diamond" along with some diamond shaped bling in black. Check out the Ike's art site. (She also has animals, kids and flowers if that's the type you like.)
Cheers, Holley
Left of Center Creative Challenge is also using Ike's Art as their Sponsor this week, and the challenge is no printed papers.

Gorjuss Girl
Here's the cutest stamp, she's definitely the first of those images that I just fell in love with and then had to go get ALL of her stamps. It's Gorjuss Girl. Initially I could only get them from an overseas shop and would get the rubber only sent to me. I think now a much bigger company sells this artist's images in both rubber and clear.
Have a great weekend. Cheers, Holley

Lost Love
Happy Friday everyone! Here's a great stamp from Sweet Pea's newest artist Maigan Lynn. This stamp is called Lost Love and is available as a Rubber stamp or a digi stamp. This artist is well known for her stunning mermaids and beautiful maidens, esp those trademark eyelashes. I wanted to do something Halloween themed for Sept, so I am using a bunch of spider themed embellishments and a fun spider themed paper in the background. I added the sentiment Tomb it May Concern.
Here's a close up of this image. Be sure and check out all of Maigan Lynn's Art at the store

Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, actually, I should say Happy Belated Birthday to the queen of Paper Temptress Patricia Dunbar! Yep, it was her birthday last week. This is my first posting since her birthday, so I am using this opportunity to share a bday card for her. This cute little girl is from Tiddly Inks and all these yummy papers come from Paper Temptress.
The gorgeous base of this card is a beautiful shimmery cardstock with lots of mica flecks in it that make it shimmer, it's called Rosso Incandescent. It has almost a golden overtone to it. The White cardstock with the image printed on it is Neenah Solar White. The corners are beautiful pieces of Mica in Gold. The black cardstock behind the image has been embossed with an embossing folder, it's black licorice glossy.
Cheers, Holley
Will be sharing this card in the Tiddly Inks Challenge

Here's a sweet fairy card using a beautiful stamp from Scrapbook Stamp Society artist Sherri Baldy. This beautiful image is super cute! Angel Card
Sharing a Sunday Angel card. I haven't shared an angel card on Sunday in a while, so I decided to make one this week. I hope you like this sweet angel. I can't think of who makes this stamp, so if you recall, let me know. Hope you love this card. Many blessings everyone!
Special prayers out to those in need. If you leave a prayer request, I'll add you to the prayer list. Had lots of fun at the Scrapbook convention this year. I took three classes in card making. Usually I don't show the cards, as they are not cards that I designed myself, but this year I thought I would scan in a couple of them to let you see what they are teaching (and let you know which companies taught the classes in case you are interested). Keep an eye out for those in an upcoming weekend.
Hugs, Holley

Squigglefly Challenge
Here's a card I made for this week's Squigglefly Challenge. The challenge is to incorporate Stars or Star sentiment into your card. I am using two images from Squigglefly for this card, one is a four star image from artist Pamela Lehto. The frame I am using comes in a wonderful set of frames, it includes this rectangle frame, a matching round frame, a oval frame, square frame and rectangle frame. It's called Half Moon Borders from artist Charlene Mitchell and this set will be released in Sept, so keep an eye out for it!
I colored up this card for my hubby, and Iowa State Cyclones fan, as the Cyclones football season started. I know he loves a little cheering for his team. There's just a little time left for this week's contest, so run over to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog and create a star card to join in!

Mad Queen Alice
Here's one of the newest artists at Sweet Pea stamps, Enys Guerrero. This stunning image is called Mad Queen Alice. I have gotten all the images that this artist has so far. I am totally in love with her stamps! This image is no exception. I had to do yellow roses and add some yellow corner die cuts to go with them. I am using some shimmery paper from Heidi Grace as the base of the card here.
Her crown is in gold and black. The butterflies all have spider webs on them and there are little tiny stars on the card. I used yellow, thinking, yellow rose of Texas, but be sure to check out the artist's original coloring as she is using black roses with a red background that is stunning.
I hope you love this image, be sure and check out the other wonderful stamps from this artist at the store.
Cheers, Holley

Lolipop anyone?
Don't you love this awesome image? It's from Simply Betty Stamps. I can't image having a balloon that looks like an eyeball, but what a great idea. I am amazed I haven't seen one. Doing more and more Halloween theme images as the holiday nears. I am now starting to see pumpkin goodies everywhere, including pumpkin walnut bagels at my favorite eatery--Einstein's. Yum. Every store here has long had their Halloween stuff on the shelves, for weeks now, just about everyone except the local walmart.

We are having a great Anything Goes contest over on the SSS Challenge blog this week, so pull out your cards and share with us. This adorable image is from Sherri Baldy and she is Img377. Isn't she just adorable? Can you imagine looking in a tree and seeing tiny fairies like this?
Drop by the blog and check out the other DT member's cards and then join in the fun! You could win some gorgeous images from Scrapbook Stamp Society.
Cheers, Holley
