Make a Wish

I had to end this month with this cute card using a stamp from Dead Sea Toons saying "So Much Fun" and make a wish! I just love her wonderful images, both the ones in her Etsy store and the stamps she sells through BlankPageMuse.com  This cutie here was just $1 and I adore this kittie.

Thankful for You

 Here's a card using one of my favorite artists at Unity stamps, Lisa Glanz. I just adore her images.  This one is super cute.  I am also using some wonderful butterfly lace from Turkey.  Usually I cut that lace into individual butterflies and put them on my cards, but I think this looks perfect just they way it is.

Lady and her Cat

Here's a delightful stamp from The East Wind.  I adore this cute cat and added the perfect sentiment for this month, "Celebrate the everyday!"  How great is that.  I also just LOVE this piece of Turkish lace that I added.  Usually i goto the lace stores in the lace district and get whole packages of lace (like 5meters or 10meters), but sometimes and often I will go to the pazaars (like a bazaar, but bazaars are permanent structures and pazaars are put up daily in different areas of town.)  Well, sometimes you go to the pazaar and in different pazaars you will find a whole area there that does lace, row after row of laces (think flea market).  It's just awesome.  The pazaars may sell pieces or small portions of lace (remnants) for just a lira (which right now is about  USA 14 cents).  How fun is that?

p.s. Thanks for everyone who inquired about my safety due to the storms in Texas. they have been horrible and I have never seen snow like this ever in my life. It's again snowing today for the third day in this week this is probably the third time in my life that I've ever seen snow and the accumulation is shocking. Fortunately my power has come back on so I am at the moment happy without water but safe, without food in the fridge because of the outage, but lucky to have food in the pantry. Sharing this darling image from Whipper Snapper today.  I think most all my cards this month have been animal themed so I might as well add another cute bunny themed card to the mix.  It's got a sweet saying, "Believe in you That's how you make your dreams come true."

 I added some great Turkish lace on the bottom of the card. Here's a crazy confession (that I am making at 3am when I am writing this blog post) I actually had to buy an additional luggage to come home with from Turkey, filled with LACE.  Not kidding.

I had to get in at least one of the snarky cat cards this month.  I LOVE this cat line of stamps.  This artist has images with Tim Holtz, Cat's Pajamas, Katzel Krafts and at least one other company.  I think they are all hilarious.  I added a saying "I know the voices aren't real, but they have some great ideas."  LOL, isn't that the truth?

Cat Love

I thought these darling hugging cats were just TOO cute. Sometimes

I thought this Unity stamp and matching sentiment was perfect for the thanksgiving theme of this month. "Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place. "  Now isn't that the truth sometimes?  Many of the times we don't realize that is happening, but all the sudden we see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize what is coming.  

For me that was about 4 months after surgery.  The first time I felt any glimmer of hope that the surgery was working.  I can remember running all over the house looking for my husband to tell him I felt better.  Not better than yesterday, not better than last week, but BETTER, better than I had felt in YEARS, better than I could even remember.  It was a real epiphany.

I do so love little girl stamps but haven't shown a lot of them this month.  Here's a real cutie from Lili of the Valley.  I thought this one would be perfect for the LOVE month of February.  Isn't she just SWEET?  I had to color her up in yellow with little red polka dots.  I also added some great Turkish lace.

Coffee theme stamps!!

 So one of my new favorite themes for those who watch my blog is clearly COFFEE.  I don't know why, but something about that just makes me happy.  I will say when over in Istanbul, I do love a cup of good Turkish coffee, but here in the USA, I tend to stick with Diet Dr Pepper.   SO I guess it's weird that I just LOVE coffee theme stamps, but I do!! and a lot!  Here's a great one from Rabbit Hole Designs.

Celebrate

One of my favorite stamp companies is Unity stamps.  So i had to share a couple cards this month using their great images.  Here's one that I thought was very fitting for the occasion.  She very much looks like she is in celebration, which is perfect! I added some wonderful paisley from Turkiye to go with it.

I have some great unity stamp prizes and unity stamp grab bags as prizes this month. I know everyone LOVE them, they have the highest quality rubber stamps (mounted not on wood).  If you are not familiar with them, I totally recommend you check them out on their website or their facebook groups.

Time to CELL-abrate!

Happy February everyone!  You know what that means?  yep!  It's time to celebrate, or as this little brain neuron says, CELL-abrate!  WOO HOO.  I am so thankful to have made it to year 11 post brain surgeries and I couldn't find a more fun image than this brain neuron to use!  (This cool stamp comes from one of our sponsors this month, Kinda Cute by Patricia, find it HERE.)

International Friends:  You are all welcome and invited to join in. I am happy to send prizes internationally but I am limited to sending items that are flat and that I can send in an envie like dies and stamps.  I wish I could send you much more, but please understand :)  Sometimes I send multiple flat items in different envelopes as it is cheaper that way than to use a bubble envie or package.

For All:  you just need to leave a comment  to be eligible for a prize that day.  Everyday has different prizes. There will be a prize winner list, keep an eye on it and when you see your name on the winner list, email me your information (ie. address or email if you prize is digital).

This posting is the MAIN post for the month and names will get picked from this post everyday, so even if the 1st has passed, be sure to sign up here!  Then leave a comment on each day of the month as I anticipate many people will win MORE days than one, therefore I don't send out prizes until the end of the month.  Please be patient.  I am pretty quick at mailing out goodies then. I will be posting each day of March whose packages went out each day.
