She's a QT

Here's a gorgeous stamp from Sherri Baldy called Little QT, she's just a delight.  I am working on using some green on my cards so I colored her up with green and red flowers and tried to match her design for the card.  Isn't she beautiful?

Life is Good

Here's an adorable image from Miss Rach digi stamps.  I adore this cute cat from her Etsy site.  She has so many sweet animal stamps.  This image is called Cat and Ladybug.  I featured a previous card from Miss Rach earlier this month and she in turn created a new digi stamp and put it on her blog, if you haven't gotten it, please check out her blog and get the lovely tortoise freebie that she created HERE.

I love cats, that's the pet that I had with my hubby for 15 years before she passed.  I also adore pandas, cute owls, and teddy bears;  I get a lot of pug things because my sister has three of them and just loves cards with pugs on them.

Falling for you

Here's a beautiful image called 1920s Flapper Girl from artist SLS Schiebe.  She had a wonderful store SLS Lines on Etsy.  This awesome image is one theme that you will find, gorgeous women.  She also has some fun and humorous stamps as well as some gorgeous floral type images.

Mummy Bunny

Here's the cutest image from artist Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes DND on Etsy combined with some gorgeous matching papers of Paper Temptress.   This adorable image is called Mummy Bunny 298.  I just adore this Hambly Overlay with the bow ties.  How fun is that?

Here's a close up of the image itself.  Just too much fun.  All of Sandra's images are so unique and original.

All the papers on this card come from the Paper Temptress store.  The base of the card is a gorgeous bright pink called Pop Tones Razzle Berry.  I then cute out a white frame for the image using Neenah Solar White Classic Crest, the same paper that I used to print out my image.  First I layer the frame down on the paper using pop dots and then I added a fun Hambly Studios Overlay.  I just adore this particular one, it's called Pink Bow Ties.  I even cut out one of the bow ties and put in on the bunny (note the difference between the bunny on the card and the bunny on the colored image).

 Meet the Spring Chicken!  How cute is this?  This fun image is from artist Sandra Caldwell of BabyCakes DND.  She's adding some awesome images in her store for Easter and St Patrick's Day already.  This one is just TOO cute.  I had to add some fun easter ribbon.

I seem to be constantly collecting words and sayings, both as embellishments and as stamps. I never really use much alphabets stamps, though I will use alphabet die cuts in my scrapbooks.

Here's an awesome image from Limited Runs. I just adore lots of their quirky and cute images including their adorable line of cupcake stamps. I made this monotone theme card today. This great stamp is called Jack in the Cupcake!  How fun is that?

What is your favorite coloring medium right now?  what kind of paper do you use?

I think I still prefer copic markers.  I do so love watercolor pencils or crayons.  I think some of the best quality ones I have played with is Stampin' Ups.  I also love how they make their crayon sets match.  But I use copics about 98% of the time.  It's usally when I have  wide base stamps of large white areas that I use watercolor.

Here's a gorgeous image from artist Sherri Baldy.  This cutie is Img 929.  We are starting a new contest over on the SSS Challenge blog and the theme is Anything Goes + Embossing (Wet or Dry).  If you love the besties, I hope you will drop by over there and play!  Her images are just stunning.

What other crafting hobbies do you like?  jewelry making?  scrapbooking?  Book making?  paper making?  origami? quilting? polymer clay?

For me, I do a lot of jewelry making, mostly for the church and Christmas gifts.  I have done some polymer clay projects and taught classes in poly clay.  I do scrapbook, but only special trips or occasions.  I am about 89% cardmaking and 11% other crafts nowadays.  I also do crafts for the kids at my church and sometimes teach classes for the ladies at church as well.

Happy Valentines Babe!  Love you so very much.  You are my happiness and you always will be. I hope we get to have a nice quiet time at home like always because just being with you makes me happy.  Here's the card I made for my hubby for valentines!

Question of the day  What adhesives do you use?
For paper?  for lace/ribbon?  for wood embellishments like the "bliss" word above?

I often use plain old white glue (not the school glue, the craft glue);  for lace there is some made by Hobby Lobby for ribbon, but I wonder what others use.  Wood is very tricky to me. what does everyone else us?

Here's a stunning image from The East Wind. Her name is Aurora Daisy Kiss.  I created this card for the February contest over on Your Scrapbook Place Challenge Blog. Conie Fong Art

Here's a truly darling image from Artist Conie Fong.  She has recently opened a brand new store on Etsy, ConieFongArt.  This gorgeous little girl is called Bow Tie in my Hair.  Isn't she just precious?  I have to say that I was with Sweet Pea stamps for probably about 8 years and I would often ask people which artist was their favorite and more often than not, Conie Fong was the lead vote getter!  Her images are just precious!

I am using some lovely lace and a gorgeous die cut bow from Tattered Lace to highlight this cute girl. Angels and Cupcakes

One of our awesome prize sponsors this month is Limited Runs.  They have a wonderful variety of digi stamps and some of my favorites are this amazing line of Cupcakes.  They have cupcakes for EVERYTHING, so clever!  I am totally in love with all the Halloween theme ones, I am sure that doesn't surprise any of you, but since this is the celebration month as way too far from Halloween, I decided to pick this delightful image Angel Cupcake for the celebration.

I love how she puts, "enjoy these cupcakes with no calories"  HA! isn't that the truth because I wish I could sit down and eat them.  I am back to a "diet" of sorts which basically means that I am cutting out things like cupcakes.  Boy, would I like a cupcake right now, or pretty much any kind of sugar!!

I don't seem to have many occasions for kids and family right now (other than the hubby of course).  But my brother's recent birth will have me delving into baby cards and kid theme cards now.

I have a old Sidekick from sizzix, I have one of those old Red Sizzix original cutters that a friend gave me.  At one time I had a Quickkutz that I gave away.  I currently have two machines that I use side by side, a Sizzix BigKick and a Cuttlebug.

Random Acts of Kindness

Here's a darling image today from Robin's Fetish stamps called Daisy Days.  I made this card for tomorrow's challenge at Monday Greetings Challenge.  The theme is to use flowers and create a spring theme card and of course, always add a greeting to the front of your card for the challenge.

So what is your favorite embellishment on cards?

I have to go back and forth between dies, ribbons, and buttons.  I also love brads ooo and flowers. Well, I am not sounding very decisive am I?  I guess if I had to put them in order, I would say I almost always use dies to cut out my images (but not necessarily as embellishments).  As embellishments I would say in this order: Buttons, flowers, brads, lace/ribbon.  How about you?

Bookmark Making Contest!
