Winter Animals

Here's a great winter theme Unity stamps set from artist Lisa Glanz.  I think this artist is definitely one of my favorites at that store, though, I just can't seem to resist so many of their wonderful images all the way around!  Enjoying this time off from school and relaxing with the DH who is also on break this week.

Merry and Bright

Here's a fun winter card, I am not 100 percent sure of the stamp maker, but fairly sure that I got this wood stamp from Paper Source.  I can't believe we are about to start 2020!  wow, something about 2020 really hits me.  I don't know how it's more than one day different than 2019, but it just seems so FAR into the future for someone born in 1970.

I am having a great break and enjoying the time off from school.  I know the next semester is going to be tough as the kids were already at maximum behavior issues before Christmas and usually post holidays don't lead to better behavior.  SIGH.

Here's the cutest project that I got at school from a student and her grandma.  I have shared a project they gave me a while back (Thanksgiving), here's a darling goodie they handed out for Christmas....can you guess what it is?

It carries the cutest hand sanitizer!  How awesome is that!  what a great little project and perfect for giving at the schools!

Here's another wonderful shaker card using some great Turkish lace to go with it. I love this cute kit, I hope they have something similar in the future.  Today all the teachers are off from school, but the teacher assistants have to do training.  "SIGH" just another day of fun.  NOT.

Here's a hilarious image from the Stamping Bella Oddballs line.  I just love their hilarious images including this reindeer. It actually comes in a set with several other reindeer.  I got the santa on this card at my local Paper Source store.  The sentiment used comes with the stamp.

Let it Snow

Here's the cutest Unity Stamp today that I thought was perfect for the season, though I must say, forget the "Let it Snow" part. As a resident of Texas I am not much a fan of that stuff.  But that snowman was so very cute that I just couldn't resist him!

Hope you are having a great week.  I can't believe there's so little time now before Christmas break.  The kids are getting restless for sure.

Christmas Shaker card

Here's another darling shaker card from Paper Source.  Isn't that a great kit?  I thought perhaps it was kind of expensive at 16.95, but after I made all the cards (it was a card making kit, but I used the end product to make cards) it was totally worth it.

It's the big 49!!

Happy Birthday ME!  Yep, it's that day, the BIG 49!!  Of course, I have been telling the kiddos that I am 50 years old for about the last 3 years.  Ha!  So when my actual birthday comes around and they do ask (you know, as polite kids do, ha!!)  I will tell them I am only 49, they are like, but I thought you were 50!  I am like, when you're my age, they are all the same.

Loving these stamps over at Miss Rach Stamps new shop called the Dead Sea Toons.  They are just too much fun! I tried to think up a funny saying for this one, but it just escaped me....I know, I know, how can I not think up a zombie saying with the work OWL?

Sharing another cute Snow Globe card that I made from a kit by Paper Source.  One nice thing about this kit is that all 12 of the images are different.   So each card that I made is individually unique.  I appreciated that about the kit.

Sharing a little Llama Love today!  Here's another project from that cute set of Snow Globe shakers  I got.  This one I actually made first, and into a snow globe instead of a card. I think these would also be cute on a wall or hanging on a tree or something.

Here's the cutest Gorjuss Girl stamp. I just can't resist these wonderful images.  This artist is fabulous. I don't know what draws me to them, maybe I can see a little of myself in them, but then my husband is like, how is that possible, she doesn't have a mouth, lol!!

I added some wonderful Turkish lace to it.  I am still planning on a trip to Turkiye this summer.  It will be good and bad as I may facing a change at work as well.  I could very well be leaving for the summer and not knowing if I will have a job, lol!!  EEEK.  Wish me luck though, I just applied to a job I would love....

Winter Snowglobe

Sharing a winter theme shaker card today using a kit that I got from Paper Source.  The kit was not for card making, but I commandeered the parts of the kit to make the snow globes and then used resulting globe to make a winter theme card.  It was an adorable little set that made 12 different globes.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I can't believe we are already in December now.  Just three weeks (or 15 working days) until Christmas break for us and the kiddos.  I think even though we just finished Thanksgiving Break, we are all looking forward to an additional break.  This school year has been particularly hard.

Sharing this wonderful new image from Sherri Baldy today.  Don't we all love coffee?  I must say I am not a huge coffee drinker, but everyday I stand outside of the school and this dear child and her mother have been bringing me coffee and some of the super cold days!  Now how sweet is that???  I was blown away that some nice strangers would think of me standing outside of the school in the mornings.  Must say, I am very much enjoying that hot coffee on those days.

Sharing this adorable animal stamp today from Unity Stamps. I just love their images from artist Tierra Jackson.  She does the most adorable baby (and grown up) animal images.  I just bought a huge lot on Ebay, some of which I already own so they will like be used as prizes in my upcoming celebration (knock on wood), this year it's going to be  HUGE, as I am hitting 10 years!!!

Love one another

Here's a lovely image from Ike's Art that is just perfect for this month's challenge at the Ike's World Challenge, K is for Kindness.  This stamp is "Kindness"  I colored it up using copic markers and added a sweet little sentiment "love one another."

I am also using some lace that I got in Turkieye though not lace I would consider Turkish Lace as it was bought in a scrapbooking type store and not a lace store.  Hope this card makes you feel warm and fuzzy today.  Cheers, Holley

Bwah ha ha!!  This image just cracked me up.  Keeping it real all right.  I got this funny image from KatzelKrafts and the funny saying comes from a different set AAll and Create.  I thought they went together though.  Too hilarious.  I am so thankful to be on a break this week.  Much needed respite from work.

Here's a great card I made using a kit from SEI for fall time.  I love the colors and papers in this kit.  So perfect for the holiday.  I added a few of my own embellishments, but really the cards will turn out stunning just the way the kit wants you to make them.

Here's a sweet shaker card today in the shape of a bicycle.  I thought this could be a sweet spring time card.  I just love the gold banner on top and banner on the bottom, very elegant finish to the card.

I hope everyone is having a great day. As I had mentioned yesterday about the dental mess, I will be taking the day off today to be with a dentist to hopefully fix the tooth!  UGH.

Here's a sweet thank you card using a Unity Girl stamp. I just love these amazing images. It's one of the only companies that I continue to consistently buy red rubber stamps from.  You can't go wrong checking out their awesome creations.  Had a horrible thing happen this weekend I was biting something and had a tooth break (either the tooth chipped or the filling came out).  UGH...

Just what we all want before thanksgiving right?  A trip to the dentist and a big bill?  SIGH

Here's a great card using some wonderful papers from Paper Source that I got in a kit at the store.  I made this greeting card today for two church friends who are both celebrating their birthday today.  I thought it would be nice to combine the paper from India with the lace from Turkiye.

Here's a wonderful SEI card. I just love the colors and the way their kits match patterned papers together.  I have a real problem doing that on my own.  I don't know if y'all notice that when following my blog, but you rarely see more than a single piece of patterned paper on a card.  I will have to make a real effort to try and match papers next year as a goal.
