I thought this stamp set was TOO cute, I just had to get it.  It's a clear stamp set that comes with some other camping theme items and sayings.  I am not sure who this fun stamp set came from, if you know, please tell me. It's super cute, comes with trees and animals and another great saying.

I am also using some gorgeous orange lace that I got in Istanbul last summer.  I am totally ready to pack up and go back there!  If you have ever thought about going, I totally recommend it.  Not just to Istanbul but other sites in Turkiye.

Ugly Sweater

Here's an awesome stamp that I got from Cat's Pajamas.  I just adore their characters.  This one is among my favorites that I discovered recently and just HAD to purchase a couple of sets using this fun guy.  The sentiment says "Ugly sweater season is Officially Open."  ha!

Happy Fall

I suppose we are nearing the end of fall now and many of us already feel like we have had some artic level blasts of winter appear, but it's actually not winter until Dec 21st.  Much like this adorable rabbit from Unity stamps, I am dressed for the season, which is Texas is usually warm, but we did have some crazy cold weather a couple weeks ago!

I hope you are having a great FALL time and that you are not so cold. I know personally that winter is my least favorite of the seasons.  Let us all have a quick and easy winter this year.

For my Love

This Whipper Snapper Stamp is just TOO cute and perfect for fall time.  I love Whipper Snapper's fun animal stamps. I made this sweet card for my DH.  I hope he likes it. I can't believe that December is upon us.  Just a couple of weeks now and we will be at Christmas break.  After that it seems like the countdown to the end of the school year will be getting started (though we are barely half way there).

Como teLLama?

I am sure many of you have noticed the craze around Llama's that's been going on over the last couple years.  (Maybe just the last 2 years)  It's been everywhere, not just in crafting, I see Llama shirts, kitchen items,....even when I was on vacation in Europe, I saw assorted Llama theme items.

So, that being said, I had to pick up some asst Llama things, including a cute sticker set that I made a couple of cards with, here's one of them and I added some Turkish lace to go with it.

Thankful Napping Nancy

Here's a delightful image that's brand new from Sandra Caldwell.  She's just perfect for the fall season, she's called 2497 Thankful Napping Nancy.  Isn't she adorable?  I just love her, I surrounded her with shimmery pumpkin stickers that are puffy.

Havest Blessings

Here's a great SEI card that I made from one of their card-making kits.  Does anyone belong to their card making club?  I think they send you two card making kits a month (8 cards each).  I have been contemplating joining this club, I was just curious if people enjoyed it all  year or if it got boring.  I really seem to love their card kits, but don't typically do that many of them at once.

I would love to hear what you think about it.  I am enjoying this week off from school. I hope you all are getting a break for the holiday as well.

Happy Pumpkin Spice Season

Oh My Goodness, here is just the cutest stamp ever!  You know I am totally in love with Stamping Bella's Oddballs.  This one is just TOO cute and perfect for the fall time.  It comes with a great saying, "Happy Pumpkin Spice Season."  I just love PUMPKIN everything.  YUM.

Hope you adore this cutie as much as I do.  Isn't she just perfect?  Just wait until you see the Oddballs I got for Christmas!

Here's a great stamp set from Taylored Expressions.  I just love this cute pilgrim style girl.  Hope you like her too.  I got her on sale at the store the last time I bought a bunch of Grumplings. I think I own ALL of those stamps now. I keep telling them they need to make more of those great stamps.

Steampunk Snowman

Happy Sunday everyone!  Here's a fun new image from artist Sherri Baldy.  It's a steampunk theme snowman.  The theme for the SSS Challenge blog this week is all white (only your image in color).  I made this fun card for the contest.  I did add a tiny bit of red behind my image to make it POP off my card.

Istanbul Card kit

Sharing a lovely card today from a kit that I got in Istanbul this summer. I just love this vintage style kit.  I did all my card different from the suggestions.  I loved the different types of embellishments they provided but wish they included some stamps too!

The cards were all large sized, much bigger than A2.  I had fun putting them all together.

Simple Blessings

I think with Thanksgiving coming, people are now in a rush for Christmas, but I just wanted to post a simple blessings card to give a moment to reflect on all the wonderful things that we have.  As you all know I am a very blessed person, especially due to two brain surgeries that saved my life!  So I need to stop every once in a while and reflect on how lucky and how amazing life really is.

I hope you are having a blessed day and will have a wonderful weekend.  Please remember to come by in February when I am planning on having a big celebration in thanks to all my crafting friends and followers by showering everyone with crafty goodies in thanks for my continued life seizure free!!  WOO HOO, I am about to hit year 9!

May the FOREST be with  you,  lol!  Here's a great fall/wintery theme image that I just love.  I thought this stamp plus image from a stamp set were perfect today with some wonderful Turkish Lace that I got this summer on a wonderful vacation that still makes me smile every time I think about it.

I have a bunch of wonderful seasonal cards coming this year which is so unusual for me, I seem to rarely make Holiday cards but this year several wonderful stamps just jumped into my cart at stores so I had to make a bunch of fun cards!

Daring cat

Here's a cute Fall theme stamp from CC Designs. I just love this adorable Cat!  There's a whole series of stamps using this fun image.  This stamp is just perfect for Thanksgiving.  Hope you are making plans for a lovely holiday.  I don't really do anything, but it's just lovely to have a quiet day with the hubby, the DH (dear husband in crafter shorthand).

I am also using some great lace on there that I got in Turkiye this summer.  Love this green color of lace.

Here's a wonderful image that is being released today in Sandra Caldwell's Etsy shop, Babycakes DND.  He's called Silly Ornie 2495.  How fun is this image?  just perfect for all those sweet Christmas cards you need to make.  I love this image because you can make this image as large or small as you want, so you could design a card with a bunch of them on it.  You can also make very quick and simple cards like mine, which is fabulous when you have to make a lot of cards for the holdiday!

Here's a great fall theme card using a kit from SEI.  I love their card making kits.  This card comes from a kit that does a set of fall and thanks themed cards.  I will be sharing them over the course of next several weeks.

Happy Dia De Los Muetos

Dia De los Muertos

Happy Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead.  In Christian churches, it's often called Rememberence day and celebrated on the first sunday of November.  Where I come from, South Texas, where there is a large percentage of Mexican people, it's a holiday where people celebrate the memory of those who have passed.  They make altars with photos and favorite items of their loved ones.  It's a time of celebrating and honoring those who are gone.  It's been happening for thousands of years.

Dia De Los Muertos goes from Oct 31 to Nov 2nd
