So one project that I undertook was creating some calendars and adding magnets to the back of them. I did about 100 of them!! All different, so I will be sharing them in groups like the ones above. I used both embellishments or cut outs as well as stamped images as shown in the ones here.
They measure about 2.5 in across and 4 inches high. The two shown here using rubber stamps are from Unity Stamps. I also did several in teacher theme as I made many of them for the teachers at the school that I work at.

New Year's Resolutions?
Here's a super cute Bestie image from Sherri Baldy today. I thought this card would be just perfect for the upcoming new year as she looks like she is sitting there writing up her New Year's Resolutions. I guess I don't really do resolutions, but perhaps I should....
Do any of you have resolutions for this upcoming year?

Clean and simple card
Here's a sweet and simple flower image from Tiddly Inks that I used for this card. I am using simple and elegant papers from Paper Temptress. The base of the card is a very elegant silver that shimmers when you move it in the light. There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE
The base of the card is called Silver Ore. I used a die cut to cut the pattern out on the right and then used some Basis Black to put behind the from layer of the card. The image is printed out on Heavenly White paper and layered onto Basis Black.

Secret Santa reveal
Sharing this adorable image from Lizzy Love today. I totally LOVE her stamps. This cutie is just perfect for a Christmas theme card, but I was thinking perhaps a card you would give AFTER Christmas, as a note to tell your Secret Santa partner who you were. At any rate, this stamp is just super cute!
Check out their current challenge and join in the fun over at the Oddball Art Stamps blog. I'd lpve to see any of your Oddball Art creations, drop me a line if you make one!

Merry Christmas
Here's some awesome shaker cards that I made with a cute kit that I got from Michaels. It made 6 fun little cards. All I added (in addition to the items supplied) was a little red glitter to go inside with the snowflakes. The merry and the lid on the Noel card are actually shimmery gold.
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas this year. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Many Blessings to everyone. Please be safe in your travels.
Cheers, Holley

I hope you all are having a great week and are ready for the holidays or are at least on your way to getting ready for them.
I am now off for Christmas Break from the school district and looking forward to this break. We will have almost 2 weeks (13 days).

Six layer shadow box
Sharing a cute card that I made from a little kit I got from Michaels. It's a 6 layer shadow box. I thought these projects were just TOO cute and they were on sale at Thanksgiving time, the package had 6 card kit for $5.
Hope you are having a wonderful December. I am ready for school to be out so I can spend some more time crafting and playing with all my crafting toys :) I know I can do that in the evenings but often I am just exhausted when I get home and mentally don't feel like it.

All I want for Christmas...
Here's a quick and cute card using some wonderful cardstock stickers, some great snowflake embellishments and a metal frame. "All I want for Christmas is ....You!" I thought the hubby would like this card.
Hope you are having a great weekend! Getting together with my family today for a belated celebration for my birthday. How sweet is that? I can't recall the last time that I had a birthday party...it's been several years since we all got together.

Kitty Pilot
Here's a brand new stamp this month from one of my favorite artists, Sandra Caldwell. This awesome image is called 1940 Kitty Pilot. Isn't he awesome? Purrrfect for that cat lover or that pilot in your life! I have also used some gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress on this card that just make the image POP right off the card.
The base of the card was cut from an 8.5x11 sheet of paper into a 5.5" square card. I am using some awesome shiny glossy cardstock called black pearl. To accent the corner I am using some 1/2" strips of Mica/metallic in Antique gold. The image was printed out in Heavenly White.

It's my birthday!
It's my birthday today, I'm a whopping 47 years old. Of course I have been telling everyone I was 47 for the past year, lol, so I guess I will just stay the same age, or so it will seem. Here's a darling image from Tiddly Inks today, thought this was a cute girl to celebrate with and naturally ORANGE, one of my favorite colors. There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE

It's a Candy Cane Christmas
Here's a delightful winter card using a wonderful image from Artist Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes DND on Etsy paired with some gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress. Doesn't the image just jump off the card?
The base of the card is glossy black cardstock. Then I added a Hambly Studio Overlay called
White Falling Snowflakes. I trimmed the overlay to 6" square and used glue dots to adhere the overlay to the shimmery paper. Then I added glue dots to stick the buttons on the top side of the overlay. The image was printed out on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest paper. You could either add the image to the top or under the overlay, in this case I added it to the top using pop dots to give the card and extra dimension.

Kiss Kiss
Happy Monday everyone! Here's a wonderful project for the current challenge on Outlawz for Monday Greetings Challenge. This week the theme is to include ribbon and flowers. Our wonderful sponsor is Dr Digi and I chose the most hilarious Christmas theme image called "I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas." HA! You can find that image HERE.
Hope this card gave you a little giggle today. I don't think it's going to make me get one of those outfits as that is probably what I would look like in it, lol!

Fleece Navidad
Here's a funny Christmas theme image that comes from Tiddly Inks. I thought this was so fun. It's called Fleece Navidad. I also have a funny stamp from another company in the same theme with sheep and a cute one with puppies that says "fleas navidad." I guess where I grew up in San Antonio, Feliz Navidad was the common sentiment in Spanish for Merry Christmas.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Just 7 more days of school until the kids and I all enjoy our Christmas break!

Santa Teddy
Here's the cutest bear from Lili of the Valley. I thought he was just darling. I colored him up for Christmas time and added some simple cardstock stickers as embellishments. I hope you all liked my card today.
Just 8 more days until we all go on Christmas break (that's 8 more working days, not 8 days from now). I am sure the kids are equally as excited about this break as the teachers and other staff are.
Cheers, Holley

Meet Tree Rex
Here's a hilarious card that I made using a die cut from Cheery Lynn, he's called Tree Rex. Ha! I just had to get this cute die and make him up. He's too funny. Hope you like this sweet and simple Christmas theme card today.
Super cold for us today, in the low 40s, which is about as cold as we ever get. I can't imagine much colder for us as we don't even own real coats here. I just hope the rain doesn't come when I am walking to or from the school. Hope this card gave you a little giggle today. Cheers all, Holley

LOVE
Here's a beautiful image from artist Kenny K. I love his fun and sexy women stamps. They are just perfect for making cards for the hubby. This one is called Mae Western. I wish he was still selling his stamps but he recently stopped doing stamps to pursue other business ventures.
Hope you are having a wonderful December, I can't believe that Thanksgiving is over and December is started. Woah, time is just flying by!

Here Comes Santa Claus
Here's a quick and cute kit that I got from AC, it was a set of build your own Santa cards. TOO cute. I made them up to give away this year. I usually don't hand out many handmade cards, not even the ones that I make for my blog, Christmas I mean. I will give certain special people handmade cards as gifts, but I don't make a ton of Christmas theme cards and those that I made I often sell at the Church Bazaar.
Hope you are having a great December! I can't believe it's already here. Just three more weeks of school until winter break. WOO HOO. Before you know it the kids will be counting down to Spring break.
