A fresh start

Happy Friday!  I can't believe it's the end of the weekend and come Monday we start back to work. WOW.  Let's live it up this weekend and do something fun.  Well, that's relative because it's so HOT in Texas.  I mean, when you have days over 100 degrees in MAY...imagine August.  Lol

Let's Roll

Welcome to Tuesday. I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Just a week until work starts and two weeks from the kiddos starting.  I haven't ever been in a full size preschool up start of a school year so that will be interesting.  In fairness most of these kids have been there and goto school year round so it's not a new environment for most of them.  But for the new kids, as it is in basic elementary school, woah, start of the school year can be hard.

 Getting over the major jet lag of being home and trying to normalize my sleep  (LOL, sleeping is weird but way easier to do in my own house).  Thankful for a lovely trip and ready to unpack a LOT of amazing lace.  Thanks to all my dear friends in Turkiye and especially to my dear husband who made this trip possible.  Kisses.

 It's the weekend!  I can't believe I just have a little time left.  I am likely to go over to the Bakirkoy pazaar this Saturday and then maybe stop by Eminonu or go all the way to Ortakoy depending on how early I get going.  Though I think activity in Ortakoy goes on Sunday as well, so I may go there on Sunday instead.

The card base and ticket die cut is from American crafts and the ice cream die cut is from Pink&Main.  Mmmm, think I want some ice cream today. 

Time for a weekly Pazaar

 So it's wed now and the good thing about Wednesdays is the weekly pazaar in Fatih.  I am looking forward to finding some good laces there.  WOO HOO.  Every once in a while I get some really good stuff there, but even on regular weeks, I still may find some nice cheaper laces than what you would get at the retail stores in Eminonu.

Hooray for ice cream.

 Happy Saturday.  So, this makes it a month in Turkiye now.  WOW.  How awesome is that?  I am going to enjoy either the pazaar in Barkirkoy today or a crafting festival that is weekly in Ortakoy.  I can take the train all the way to the last stop and then walk a couple miles or wait and take a ferry all the way there.  Hmmm. Ferry is definitely easier...
