After the second brain surgery, I stayed in intensive care for a few more days and was then transferred to a regular hospital ward. Man, was I ready to go home. For those of you who are curious, I didn't lose any motor development, speech,....in fairness, my speech did slow down and was really hard for the first months. And sometimes still, I lack word recall the way I used to. But given my state before surgery, My brain is WAY WAY better now. It was not a brain surgery where you have to relearn to walk, talk,.....none of that thankfully. Healing was enough without that.

Love the colours you used on your card. You are so good at colour matching. It's nice you are sharing these details of your surgery. It must have been so scary to do, and I am sure your stories will help others to understand and make a wise decision if they are sadly in the same position. That rubber stamp with the cat looks really fun. I love rubber stamps. HUGZ
