You light up my life!

Here's a cute image from artist on Carmen Gamble. I got this image when she sold her stamps on Squigglefly, but she currently sells them on Etsy.  I added some addition word sentiments to the "You light up my life" sentiment on the light bulb, "today", "forever" and "tomorrow."  I hope you love this cute card today

Now we are well into the 2nd week of school and hopefully the routine will start to get easier and easier from here on out.  As the teacher's settle into their routines, the Special Education team will then get our schedules squared away so that proper support is being given everywhere that it is needed.

Squigglefly Challenge

Hi everyone!  Here's my card for this week's Squigglefly Challenge. I am joining in with Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals this week because Rhonda picked this week's fun, "Make a One Layer Card."  How hard is that?  Actually, a bit harder than you might think!  Sounds pretty easy, but after I printed out my stamps, I was just stumped.  I will confess that I had to go back, rearrange my images on the computer and reprint them to come up with the design I wanted!  I hope this fun qualifies as I didn't add any layers of paper, just a ribbon and buttons.  These adorable images come from Carmen Gamble.  They are called Lightbulb set. There are 4 images included, the three shown plus "Great Idea" that can be used together or separately.

Drop by the Squigglefly blog this week and join in the fun. You could win a wonderful prize from Squigglefly.  If you haven't every played, please join in!  You can even use a freebie from the store!

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Heavenly White); Images (Squigglefly); Color (Copic Markers); Ribbon (Michaels); Buttons (OTC); Adhesive (pop dots, Ribbon Glue);

Squigglefly Challenge

Hi all, just wanted to share a card I made for this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  This fun card was done in all black and white, as I thought it very much went with the image itself.  Then I added a tiny amount of bling, with the silver rhinestones as well as the brad that says MOM.  The Challenge this week is to create a mother's day card.  I am using a new image from artist Carmen Gamble called Vintage Car. It comes with the saying shown plus two additional birthday sentiments.

Join in the fun at Squigglefly Challenge Blog this week.  If you use a Squigglefly image, even a freebie, you will be eligible to win the prize.

Cheers, Holley

Squigglefly Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!  You know what that means, yep, time for this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  This week the challenge to create something in BRIGHT spring colors.  I am using a brand new image from artist Carmen Gamble called Easter Tree.  I colored it up in all those fun easter theme colors and use a bright cardstock from MAMBI.

I hope you will drop by the Squigglefly Challenge blog to see what the Holley Hobbyists have created this week and then share with us your OWN fun card using some bright colors.  Your card doesn't have to be spring theme or spring related, just needs to use bright colors.

Cheers, Holley

Hello Everyone! Here's a fun brand new image that just came out from Squigglefly from artist Carmen Gamble. I am using it to create a card for this week's challenge.  The challenge is to create a card using your 2 favorite colors.  I know after watching me last month, you must think I am a pink&red addict, but actually brown/orange are my favs!  Check out this Owl Stack image at the store!

Today the Squigglefly prize has been sent out to Kaye!  I have acquired all the Stamping Chef information and will be sending it to their store for:  Alethea, Lisa Lucchese, Erin Bently, Ellis and Sylv.

Here's a sneak peak, ALL the packages are now wrapped.  It's freezing cold here in Austin today, so it won't go out immediately, but I will be taking them to the post office (in the arm loads full as I walk to the post office), but everything is ready to go!!  If you didn't win anything, there's still time to sign up for the 2nd drawing (CLICK HERE).
