Think Fast. Live Slow
Here's a beautiful image from Ike's Art today in combination with some gorgeous spring papers from Paper Temptress. I love this combo with the copic marker colors on the flowers it goes perfectly.
The image is called Snowdrops and is just $1 on the Ike's Art site! WOW. It very much reminds me of a Texas wildflower we have here that I believe is called Mexican hats (see here).
I am using wonderful Paper Temptress papers for this project. The image was printed out onto Heavenly White paper. The project was layered on Mica Flame and Astrobright Solar Yellow, The card base is pop tones Gumdrop Green.
what's your favorite type of paper at Paper Temptress?
I either have to go with the awesome ruche (crepe) style, the shimmery MICA, or the wonderful Hambly Studio screenprints
CLICK HERE if you need to sign up on Feb 1 where prizes get drawn from Daily. The winner list has now been started!!
THERE'S LOTS of winners who I haven't heard from yet CLICK HERE and check the list for your name, then email me htondre@aol.com if you see your name

She's a QT
Here's a gorgeous stamp from Sherri Baldy called Little QT, she's just a delight. I am working on using some green on my cards so I colored her up with green and red flowers and tried to match her design for the card. Isn't she beautiful?
I hope you love this card, be sure and check out all of Sherri Baldy's wonderful images at her Bestie's shop.
It's the last day of the month, please check the list as I added a bunch of winners and tomorrow there will be a HUGE list of grand prizes, these are things like large stamp sets and die cut/stamp sets and such. Most of the winners there will have goodies added to their packages.
So, if you have any favorite things you haven't mentioned this month, lol, better speak up and if there's people who I somehow have forgotten, then shame on me, SPEAK UP and don't be shy. Just wave your hand at me as I am handing out goodies and there's unclaimed goodies that need a home.
Cheers, Holley

Taking down the tree
Here's a darling image from artist Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes Doodles and Designs on Etsy. This fun image is called Spring Tree. It's a special stamp that was a free give away for those who played in Sandra Caldwell's first progressive challenge on her Facebook page (in addition to the freebie you got when we reached round 3)!! Woo Hoo. I am using all beautiful papers from paper Temptress for this card. I thought this tree was just perfect for that image of taking down your tree and getting ready for the new year fun!
The base of the card is a lovely dark red cardstock called Cherry. The shimmery green is a Mica/Metallic called Emerald. The blue paper which I cut out a snowflake border as well as snowflake die cuts is a crepe (ruche) called Sky Blue. The image was printed out on Neenah Solar white classic crest. This paper works perfectly for digi stamps that you are printing with your computer and coloring with copic markers.
Have a great New Year's Eve!

Whimsical Owls
Hello everyone! It's time for the new challenge over on the SLS Lines Challenge blog. This month the challenge will be fall theme. I am using a wonderful set of owls, you get three different owl images in this set for only $3. I created these two cards to give you some fun ideas for using them.
The above card using a tree image from Darice and some leaves that I cut from a memory box die. I printed out all three of the owls in a small format so they would fit the size of the card and added a cute owl saying.
The card below I am using one of the same images that I printed much larger and colored to match the papers. Aren't these owls a delight? They are at the SLS Lines store called Whimsical Owls.
Drop by the SLS Challenge this month and share your Fall theme cards with us! You could win a wonderful prize from SLS Lines. We look forward to seeing all your fall theme creations.
Cheers, Holley
