Look Who's cute

Here's the cutest image from Tickled Pink, which was acquired by CC Designs.  I haven't seen them sell these stamps in a while, but occasionally see them offer these stamps in digi format. I just love this entire stamp line, TOO cute.

I hope you have a great Tuesday. I can't believe it's already November.  WOW, time is flying and before we know it, Thanksgiving break will be here.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone!!  Here's an awesome stamp from Tickled Pink, though this artist now makes stamps for CC Designs.  I just love her images.  This witch is too cute!  I added some shimmery spiderweb paper and framed a tiny spider on a web!  That gorgeous stitched ribbon comes from Istanbul.

I hope you all have fun plans for Halloween!  I bought a bag of candy to hand out to the kids, we usually get 30-40 or so here.  I may go up by the church where they are having "Trunk or Treat" meaning people are setting up their cars all decorated and everyone just goes up to each person's car to trick or treat. That should be a load of fun to the kids.

Project materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill Bling, Neenah, Hobby Lobby);  Image (Tickled Pink); Brads (); Stickers (); Ribbon (Istanbul, Turkiye);  Color (Copic markers); Ink (Colorbox Chalk, Memento); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Ribbon Glue);

Would you like a drink?

Here's an awesome stamp from Tickled Pink Lil Lolita, I just love this artist's images, they are now sold over at CC Designs.  I added it with some fun Skull paper and a few candy embellishments.  She's just awesome fun for Halloween. I have to say, Hmmm, is that just red wine?  I don't drink wine, so I guess I better pass.

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Neenah, basic grey); Image (Tickled Pink); Die Cut (Xcuts); Flower (Michaels); Stickers (Soft Spoken); Candy (Grandma's Button Bag); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue dots, Glue all); Twine (); Color (Copic markers);

Be Brave, Be Bold!

Here's a wonderful image from Tickled Pink, now made by CC Designs.  I just love this artist's stamps!  I am using some stunning papers from Paper Temptress to create this card as well as some gorgeous lace that I got from Istanbul. I thought Pink would be perfect as it is always the color associated with the Fight on Cancer.  I added a small saying sticker from Cosmo Cricket, Be Brave, Be Bold.
Paper Temptress papers on this amazing card include the base of the card which is a gorgeous mica cardstock called Azelea.  The image was stamped onto Heavenly White.  I die cut out my image using Spellbinders Nestabilities and layered it onto a piece of  Hambly Overlays.  These overlays are great because they come in a 12x12" size, I can pick just a small portion of the sheet and use what is visible on that piece of the sheet to enhance my card.  You can see through the sheet that I chose, the Orange Bohemian, to see the Azelea Mica.  If you take a look at the Orange Bohemian sheet, you would never guess that is the paper!  The textured look gives a lot of depth to card along with the lace.

Paper Temptress will be giving away a wonderful prize next month, a $25 gift card to her store!!  WOO HOO!! Thanks so much to the Paper Temptress.  What would you want to spend that on?  (click here)

Down in the Dumps...

Love the expression in this girl, doesn't she just show that typical teenage angst?  I colored her up in warm greys with red roses.  Love that adorable skull hairpiece.  She's from Tickled Pink, but I think CC Designs now sells these stamps exclusively. At any rate, she's a fun image for Halloween or any time.

Happy Haunting

Happy Haunting!  I don't know if this beautiful girl will be haunting much. This stamp is from Tickled Pink.  They make a number of great Halloween themed stamps.  That punch is a recent one that I picked up.  I had a great time at the scrapbook convention last week.  I will be showing you some new die cuts now.  The DH gave me some $$ and I got some wonderful new dies, mostly Spellbinders, but I also splurged on some amazingly detailed Cheery Lynn cutters too.
Next week will bring some treats as I just became a Design team member for Scrapalicious.  I got my first package from them yesterday.  WOO HOO.  Wait until you see their goodies.  Best Wishes for a good week.  Hugs

You can't take it with you?

Says who?  This awesome Steampunk girl from Tickled Pink would like to know.  I think she's ready to try and take it with her.  This cutie is one that I got sometime ago when I won a blog card contest on their challenge site. I do so love this sassy image.  I think the saying fits right along with her attitude.  Had to give her grey eyes.

Tickled Pink

I love this stamp from Tickled Pink.  Any dress with a couple skulls and some thigh high striped socks...how cute is that? What I don't know is, do I love these images because they dress like me, or have I just started to dress like them?  Hmmm, thoughts to ponder.  Now, you know you must have a good life when you have time to think about something THAT silly!
Seriously though, I don't spend much time thinking about such silly things, but I do get a pleasure out of making a cute little card like this and smiling.  I hope this card has made you smile today. Oh yeah, something important today--Happy Birthday Linda!!

Project Materials:  Cardstock (AC, Bazzill, Neenah);  Stamp (Tickled Pink);  Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk);  Die Cut Frames (Lifestlyes); Die Cut Corners (Memory Box, Cheery Lynn);  Color (Copic Markers);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All)

Sing me a song...

I had a couple comments yesterday about the card I made and I had colored her eyes to match the color of her outfit. Purple or Violet being a very unusual eye color. I must say I can't think of anyone I know or have every met with that eye color. My husband of course had pointed out to me that Elisabeth Taylor was famous for that eye color, but I honestly can't say that I ever saw her though and noticed that. I do think violet eyes look good there and in this card here, so I do often choose to use that color.

Meet Christina

Here's a wonderful stamp that my husband gave me for christmas. Ummm, I mean that Santa John put in my Christmas stocking.....it's a stamp from Tickled Pink. This one is Lil Lolita Perfect Match Christina. I am loving the weather here in TX right now, lower to mid 70s and walking outside everyday, it put me in the spring mood, so I have yellow-ed up this card and added beautiful paper, butterflies, and flowers to embellish it.I topped it off with a great saying "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you imagined." Ahhh, as simple as my day to day life is, I am so happy everyday that I feel like I live the life of my dreams. This card is for the Tickled Pink challenge this week, anything goes. I call it, Be Happy in Yellow :)

Roses are Red....

Roses are Red...Violets are blue...buy me some Tickled Pink stamps...I will SOOOOOO love you! Hmmm, think Santa would like that? I think Santa already knows that. Lol, I send Santa my wish list straight from the online stamping store. ha! He's a darn good one, that Santa. I must have been a good girl this year.Stamps or not, I will SO love Santa anyways. Here's a fun card using a wonderful Tickled Pink stamp for their Challenge this week. I wish my camera had a better flash on it, but I didn't really have good lighting at the time that I needed to get my photo done. It's using fun Bazzill Swiss polka dotted paper with multiple layers of die-cut background papers, layered punches and beautiful roses. Colored her with Copic markers and she turned out nice.

Have a great Monday.

Tickled Pink Fairy

Here's my card for the Tickled Pink Challenge this week. One of my favorite techniques is to use a mono-tone theme, which is to take a single color and use every type of that color over and over again. So for a Tickled Pink stamp as delightful as this, why not pinks all over? I used three shades of pink papers, pink ink, pink fiber, five shades of pink copic markers and here we are:Isn't she a beauty? She's the Little Pinkettes Fairy Coraline. Super Adorable! Thanks for stopping by, be sure to stay tuned this week. We are having a special blog hop on the 10th to celebrate Epilepsy Awareness and tell my story with Blog candy and all!

Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween everyone! Time for you to go out for a trick or a treat, or perhaps both! Tell me which it is you want, or if it's a day late, which it is you got! I suppose I am looking for a little treat tonight, starting with seeing all the little kids in their costumes coming to my door and ending with a quiet night curled up in the arms of my hubby. Maybe I can find an outfit just like this Tickled Pink Vampire girl.Project Materials: Cardstock (K&Co, Bazzill, Neenah); Rubber Stamp (Tickled Pink); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cuts (Spellbinders Nestabilities); Embellishments (OTC); Ribbon (Michaels); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue Dots, Glue All); Color (Copic Markers);

Dare to be Remarkable

Shouldn't we all? Aren't we all really? I guess we don't often think of ourselves as remarkable, but I am sure there is something remarkable about each of us, even if it is something that we don't share with others. Guess I am not really sure what is remarkable about me, perhaps I should ask you guys.... I guess I walk 7 days a week, anywhere from 3 to 7 hours (totals 12-23 miles per day); Gone through 2 brain surgeries and I am now doing so well and feel so blessed. Incredibly happy and just loving life...is that remarkable? lol, when I look around at all the sad stressed out people around me, it seems to be.

Tickled Pink Fairy

Here's one of my favorite stamp companies-Tickled Pink. They just came out with this beautiful fairy stamp and I had to get my hands on her! Isn't she adorable? I colored her up in pinks and had to match her with some beautiful prima flowers and brads. I also colored her wings with some sheer glitter glue, but you just can't see that sheen on the scan for the computer.
If you haven't signed up for my recent blog candy (started friday) then scroll down to the May 13th posting and sign up!! If you did, better see if you have won something! If you won, email me your address at htondre@aol.com

Become strong....Bloom

I love this adorable image from Tickled Pink. She's too much! I know how many times I have felt the way that she looks. I added the saying under her that I think can sum it up "become strong," I think that is often what picked me up. Then on the right side of the card I added what she is to become, beautiful flowers with the word "Bloom." As a tiny seed bursts through the earth and turns into a beautiful flower, so can we all burst through the trials of life and turn into what we should be. So, Bloom everyone!
