Aurora Daisy Kiss
Here's a stunning image from The East Wind. Her name is Aurora Daisy Kiss. I created this card for the February contest over on Your Scrapbook Place Challenge Blog. Their current contest is anything goes and it is being sponsored by The East Wind. Please drop by over there and share your wonderful creations for a chance to win a prize.
The gorgeous papers in this card come from Paper Temptress. The base of the card is a beautiful dark blue called Blue Basis. The white cardstock that the image was printed on is Neenah Solar white classic crest. The gorgeous die cut on top is using a gorgeous screenprint from Hambly Studio. This paper is called Script Tease.
Have you seen the Hambly Studio Overlays or Screenprints? Which one is your favorite?
Tough choice for me, love the spiderweb, the Bohemian and the Old Lace (lol, I can never really pick it's why I just buy the 6x6" mini packs so I get a little bit of everything that's just the right size for a card front)
Have you seen the winner list? It's being updated daily now, CHECK HERE!
Also, if you didn't comment on Feb 1st, be sure and go back to that day to comment, prizes are still be drawn from Feb 1st and grand prizes will get drawn from there.

Love is Blind
Here's some gorgeous shimmery papers from Paper Temptress that I combined with this darling image from Sandra Caldwell to create a love filled card, SWAK! This adorable digi stamp is called 159 Love is Blind. We are currently having a contest over at the Sandra Caldwell stamp fans Facebook page, part 1 of our progressive challenge which is to include an image with a heart and some sparkle. Well, this paper just sparkles!
The papers here are all from Paper Temptress. The image was printed out on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest. Then I layer the image onto some light pink cardstock, Bubblegum Poptones . The SWALK die cut was cut out in Neenah, and the red lips were added using cardstock with Mica infusions called Vermillion Sparkle. The base of the card is a stunning Mica/Metallic with a golden shimmer called Citrine Mica/Metallic. I smeared some chalk ink on top of the Mica/metallic to give it some extra pink for the theme.

Frame it!
Happy Monday everyone! Here's a fun card that I made for the new contest starting at the Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge blog. The challenge this week is anything goes + Frame it. As you can see, I added a frame and then included a fun sentiment inside. Isn't this sentiment just perfect for Sherri Baldy's images? You would think this sentiment came from her, but it is actually a rubber stamp made by Unity Stamps, it just goes perfectly with all Sherri's bestie images though, I had to use it.

I am also using a huge Marianne die cut frame in the background behind my image. This fun image is IMG614. Drop by the SSS Challenge blog and join in this week's challenge for a chance to win some awesome images from Sherri Baldy. ALSO, there's another fun Anything Goes contest over at Your Scrapbook Place Challenge blog with Sherri Baldy as the sponsor, so quick go make a card with one of her images and you can join TWO fun challenges.
Cheers, Holley

Always believe in yourself.
Here's a gorgeous Sweet Pea stamp image from artist Gabriella Szabo called Yuletide Blessings. I chose to use this image for the Artist of the month card to show you how stunning her art is as well as how versatile it can be. I don't think you would have ever guessed that this image was originally supposed to be a Christmas theme stamp. How cool is that? Be sure and check out the image on the Sweet Pea stamps site, so you can see how the image looks in Christmas colors.
Here's a close up of this stunning image
Check out all of Gabriella's stunning images at Sweet Pea, she has the most beautiful fairy images.
Cheers, Holley

Captian Thunderpants

If I only had a brain
Here's one of the most adorable Scarecrow stamps! He's from Sweet Pea Stamps artist Sandra Caldwell and is called Scarecrow Dude. How cute! I am grouping him here with awesome papers from Paper Temptress to create this fun card today.
Here's a close up of the image, printed on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest Paper and colored with Copic Markers. He's currently available as a digi stamp.
The other cardstock I am using for this card which matches perfectly for the fun is a base cardstock of Tuscan Sun Brawny. I overlaid that card front with a wonderful clear overlay from Hambly Studio. You can get these great packs in 6x6" assortments which are perfect for cardmaking and come with a large mixture of papers. You can also get this transparency individually as a 12" square sheet, it's called Brown Hanging Heleconias. For the borders on top and the "straw" die cuts, I am using a beautiful sheer mica type cardstock called Amber. The complementary color on the border is called Copper Mica/Mettallic.
You know I had to add a little brain joke with this scarecrow card!
Come back tomorrow for another Wizard of Oz card!!

Make us Laugh
So the people over at Ike's Art are having a challenge called Make Us Laugh, I took this sexy image and added this funny saying from Riley &Co. "1 day of coal. 364 days of fun. (I'll take my chances)" HA!! That's awesome. I just love the look on this lady's face. That's totally something I can imagine her saying too.
Now, that's a little Sassiness that I love. I also love the Halloween/goth type images that you see over at Ike's art too. So many great stamps (also if you love birds, dogs,....there's lots like that as well). So, hmm, question for the day? are you getting ready for any special events that you are crafting for? my sister in law is having a baby. I have a couple birthdays in April/may. I do love to make a few cards for Easter time, but I am definitely running behind on that! How about you? weddings? already making Christmas cards? what's your current topics?
Have you seen the winner list? it's been updated! Drop by and check it out!! There's a link on the right hand side of the blog. There's now TWENTY NINE winners that I haven't heard from so GO CHECK THE LIST!! then email me!

Time to start the celebration!!
Can you believe it? February is here! Not just Feb, Feb 2015! That now makes it 5 years. 5 years ago I was so sick that I couldn't do so many basic things in life and was in total denial about my health even though deep down I knew my only chance to get better would be surgery. So I am very much one of the lucky ones who not only qualified for surgery, but also one whose surgery resulted in completely stopping my seizures so far.
I celebrate each year I am given now, and most especially by giving back to all my crafty friends, both new and old as they were my best supporters, my wonderful friends, my lovely prayer team, and what often kept me going!! I am so thankful for that.
This fun card is made for you all my friends. There's a wonderful ANYTHING GOES contest over at Your Scrapbook Place, it starts today! So join in over there.OK, down to the nitty gritty details! For those of you who are new, I will have blog candy all month long, I usually announce winners about a week or so after (i.e. around the 7th or 8th the main winner list will get started, then updated everyday). I don't mail out the prizes until the end of the month as I anticipate that many winners will have multiple prizes. So, it's a good idea to play everyday!! And at the end of the month I have a lot of big prizes that will go out (die cut sets, larger stamp sets, big gift certificates....) so lots of winners will get additional prizes.
ALL countries are welcome to play however, please understand if you are overseas that I have to limit what I can send to either flat items like rubber or stamp sets or digital stamps. I am happy to share worldwide but postage is crazy, lol!! So digi prizes are a great way to celebrate!
Everyday I often ask some fun question or like to send you to a website and have you check things out...there can often be a method to my madness, sometimes I am curious to learn about you or see what you like, who knows? I might have a special prize just for you! One year I had a lady tell me she loved giraffes. Well guess what I had...so, if you answer the questions, you are more apt to get a prize that you LOVE as opposed to something more random.
THIS posting is the MAIN prize listing and will have winners picked off of it all month long, so be sure to add your comment here, even if it's late in the month. I will always be coming back to this posting to pick winners for some extra items.
Now, lets make a PRIZE announcement! WOOHOO, what a way to start huh? we had two pre-game prizes, one was for people who shared on my Facebook, we had almost 100 people do so, the winners are: Leadonna Quick Kimmel, Linda Lechnir Chidster
Second was the people who left a Birthday message on my blog Thursday for Sweet Pea stamps Owner Lynette: VIRGINIA MONTANGA
OK, here we go....leave your comments, once a day!

She shared this gorgeous card on her blog this week (and with me the day before).

Angel
Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea stamps artist Conie Fong called Angel of Christmas Stars, but as you can see, I have colored her up in a totally non-Christmas way. This stamp can be used in many color combinations and is perfect for all sorts of beautiful cards year round. Instead of coloring her flowers red like poinsettias, I simply made them pink to match the beautiful dress that I colored her in. Isn't she perfect?
Project materials: Cardstock: (DCWV, Neenah, Bazzill); Stamp (Sweet Pea Stamps); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cut (Marianne Design; Spellbinders Nestabilities); Adhesives (Glue All, Glue Dots, Pop dots); Bling (Glitter); Buttons (Imaginations); Color (Copic markers);

Dare to Live Your Dream
Here's a gorgeous mermaid from Sweet Pea Stamps artist Joanne Schempp. She's called Fluff Dry. What a beautiful digital image. I printed her up and cut her out using one of the newest Spellbinders that both embossed and cuts. I chose rich red Copic Markers to color her up and used a great saying from Cosmo Crickett to go with her "Dare to Live Your Dream." She looks like she is ready!
Be sure and check out all of Joanne Schempp's amazing images, she has a bunch of beautiful mermaid images as well as other amazing lady images, both in rubber stamp as well as digital stamp format.
Project materials: Cardstock (Making Memories, Neenah, AC); Digi-Stamp(Sweet Pea Stamps); Ink (Colorbox Chalk); Saying (Cosmo Crickett); Diecuts (Spellbinders Nestabilities; Marianne Designs); Flowers (Prima); Buttons (Grandma's Button Bag); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (pop dots, glue all, glue dots); Bling (Michaels);
Those wonderful corners are from Marianne Designs. Here's a closeup of this gorgeous stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps:
