Check out my lace store!  NOTE:  it will be shutting down for summer while I am in TURKIYE so get what you want now!  LacePlaceByHolley | Etsy

Simply Betty

Here's a wonderful image from Simply Betty stamps. I added a sweet sentiment, "So many blessing to count this year."  How true is that?!  So many things I have to be thankful for this and every year.  let us all be thankful for what we do have.

Hugs and prayers to you all today for those things that you have and for whatever it is that you need.

You are a hottie

Here's an awesome image from Simply Betty Stamps. I love her great images, esp the sexy lady stamps.  I think this cutie makes a great stamp for the DH.  I want my hubby to see some lov-y cards while I am away from him.

Hope you are all having a great July, I can't believe we are already a month through with summer time.  I guess I spent almost all of my June month getting physical therapy on my elbow, so it wasn't much of a real vacation time.

Life is so sweet

Sharing this HOT HOT HOT image from Simply Betty Stamps. I just love her woman images. She has some great ladies.  I thought this one was just perfect for the hubby. Love letters, lingerie, and chocolates.  What more could a man want?

Hope you are having a great summer time!

Sending out some love

Here's a wonderful image from Simply Betty stamps.  I thought I would take a break from doing fall and Christmas theme cards (and now I have started making little mini calendars) to make a love theme card for my hubby.

I hope he will like this card.  Cheers all!  Holley

Let's assume I'm always right

Here's some great sass from Simply Betty stamps. I just love this cool image and the saying goes right with it. "To save time lets assume I'm always right!"  There's definitely a day when I would have been like that.  I am not so much a know it all anymore.  I mean, of course I am right (LOL), but I never tell people that.  Esp with kids the point is to let them figure out what is right.  Just telling them what is right is not letting them learn it.
Seriously though, I am kidding, I am not always right and even with the kids, I do tell them immediately if I was wrong so they can see that even adults can make a simple mistake and are willing to admit and correct themselves and move on.  That's part of life, we all make mistakes.

Simply Betty Stamp

here's a darling image from Simply Betty stamps.  I do so adore her images.  I made this card in all reds.  I hope you are all having a wonderful summer time. I can't believe how quickly it has gone by, for teachers here, they will be back in just three weeks now. (or is it 4?) too soon at any rate.  I am applying at a very close school to my house so please keep your fingers crossed for me.  I need all the positive energy I can get!

Have a great week!  Also, my mother is in the hospital and is not conscious, they are keeping her sedated, so please also keep my mother in your prayers, she is only 65.

Cheers, Holley

I love you so much!

Here's something that I rarely have, a card using a male image!  I guess I just don't see a lot of men/boy stamps that I like.  This cutie was from Simply Betty though and I had to color him up and make a card.  TOO cute.  He has some white roses for his sweetie.

I hope you are having a great summer, I don't know how it has flown by!!  where has the time gone?

You are in my thoughts.

Here's a beautiful image from Simply Betty Stamps.  I just love this artist's images.  I added a sweet sentiment (most of her great images come with sentiments, both sweet and sassy!).  "You are in my thoughts."

I hope you like this sweet image.  We have gone from sweltering hot to pouring rain here.  I am thankful for that though, as the rains will keep everything much safer as the 4th of July approaches.

A Gal with Brains

Here's a fun card that I made for my Epileptologist (LOL, my BRAIN doctor).  I thought he would get a chuckle out of this awesome stamp from Simply Betty stamps.  She just had an awesome sale of 104 images for $20.  While I had a dozen or more of the images that were included in the sale, it was still well worth the price for the other wonderful stamps including this one.

I had a Dr Appt with Dr Aboutmatar at Austin Epilepsy this week.  I am at almost 7.5 years post brain surgery now.  So very thankful for that and so very thankful to Dr Aboumatar!!  His practice has just bloomed, he now has several other doctors, three times the space and so much more going on!  So wonderful for him!

Dare to be different

Sharing this fun card today, she's a classic Simply Betty stamp and just perfect for a little Halloween theme card.  I added a simple sentiment for her, Dare to be different.  Hope you like the shimmery ribbon I am using today, it's kind of a cross between washi tape and ribbon.  Not really sure which of the categories it truly falls into.
Have a great day everyone!

Trick or Treat!

Here's a classic Simply Betty stamp that I made a fun Halloween card from it.  I haven't been sharing nearly as many Halloween cards this year so I thought I better get on the ball with Halloween only being a month away!

So, is everyone else making Halloween cards now? if so how many will you make?

Vacation Time

Vacation time has arrived and though I don't plan on wearing any swimsuits or laying out with umbrellas, It sure doesn't get any better than this.  I have huge thanks to everyone who helped me raise the $ for the trip and everyone who took all my classes, bought cards and supplies and helped me the last two months as I ran 200mph to get everything done. Thanks so much!!
Now off I go and I will see you all very soon.  Hugs! Holley

Mermaid card

Here's an awesome image from Simply Betty stamps.  I created this great trifold mermaid card with it.

I took some extra photos so you could see it in different postitions

I am using some great handmade paper from India to go with her. Here's is how the card would fold up and fit into an A2 sized envelope.

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you have a great weekend.  Cheers, Holley

Ring your Bell!

Here's an awesome image from Simply Betty stamps today. There's a great Facebook contest going on that is being sponsored by The East Wind and Simply Betty Stamps. Yesterday I shared my East Wind creation so today I am sharing my Simply Betty Elf.  Don't you love her skully cap and the skull buttons on her blouse?  You had to know I would adore that!

I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend and may everyone have a blessed week. Yesterday was the big bazaar at the church and I hope to post some photos of all the things I made as the time comes. Right now I have so many projects already scheduled up on my blog, but eventually you will get to see them I am happy to say that those fun bottlecaps that you saw, they were a big hit.

Cheers, Holley

Treats this way

Here's a fun image from Simply Betty Stamps. She's all dressed up and I added a sentiment "Treats this way" (notice the finger is pointing towards her).  I thought this just devilishly delightful!  I added a border that I made from another paper using some cute skeletons and a couple of bright green accents for the season.

Only a couple days left of Halloween theme and then we are off to fall/Christmas. Do you like those little candy buttons?

Cheers, Holley

I'll put a spell on you

Here's an awesome image from Simply Betty Stamps. You know I totally love her and her skull hat!  I used some great Halloween paper from SEI and a some ghost stickers as well as die cuts.  If only I had a broom I could fly!

Can you believe we are only 2 weeks from Halloween now?  that also means 2 weeks from the church bazaar.  So many things to get done!  I will have to take some photos so you all can see all the projects I have.  I just bought the funniest thing, both for Halloween and the bazaar, a mold for chocolates shaped like brains.  I know I showed you some last year, but those were really large, they took about 2 oz of chocolate each!  These molds are TOO cute, tiny little brains.  EEK, can you say, Zombie Food?

Get Wrapped up in Halloween

Here's an awesome Simply Betty stamp today. She makes the best Halloween theme stamps.  I totally love this lady and had to create a fun and sexy card with her for the holiday.  I had several fun die cuts to use and some skull washi tape that I got a while back.

Are you all wrapped up in the Halloween Spirit now? I hope so!

Cheers, Holley
