Here's a fun shaker card that I made for the DH this summer. It says, "I'm yours" I hope it puts a smile on his face. I added some sweet Turkish lace to it. Oh, shopping for Turkish lace is so much fun. SO MUCH fun. I look forward to it all year long. I just love looking at the row and row of beautiful lace.

As I prepare to go, I just have a couple weekends with my DH as we won't be together right before I leave I just wanted to tell him XO XO XO now. Give me lots because I will miss you when I am gone. You would think I would be so distracted in Istanbul, but there is also a lot of quiet time because I don't understand much of the language, it's almost like a silent (but extremely noisy) world. So I actually do a lot of crowd watching and observing and thinking about my DH and dear friends. For now, XO hubby
Here's a sweet love theme card, XO for my dear hubby (DH) that i will be leaving in just a month. I swear he's probably the only reason I come back from Turkiye. Well, it might take me longer than 2 month before I'd be ready to come back if it wasn't for the DH. My VISA only give me 90 days, plus come winter it gets colder there and I really wouldn't like that.

Here's some valentine cards that I made for one of my classes, the third grade class that i used to assist in daily. I bought the supplies from Recollections (Michaels). I hope the kiddos liked the handmade valentines.

I wonder if people are starting to get their packages yet? I am guessing by this evening a few people will. Usually shipping from Austin usually takes two days, though to rural areas maybe three or four. PLEASE PLEASE tell me if you don't get your packages ever. Give the post office time, but eventually and sadly things do get lost in the mail. Boo!

Wow, I can't believe this month is going by so fast, I feel like there is just SO much to get done, lol. PLUS, I don't know if I mentioned this fact but I am going to a Scrapbook Convention on Mar 15th. So I have to get done with my prizes from Feb BEFORE I go to the show. This is all not counting the work from my store, lol. WOW, so much to do.

Today is the last day of school before we go on Christmas break so you know the kiddos are all excited and ready to be off (oh, and so are the teachers, lol). You know I am all over the HOLLY Jolly-ness of Christmas. As a kid it was mostly annoying though. This cute card has a SCRATCH off (with a coin or some other object) in the O of Jolly to reveal a cute image of some fun Christmas character...ho ho ho!

Here's one of the cards that I made using a kit from Micheals (Recollections). I added some gorgeous Turkish lace to the project. It makes a magic card that's black and white and when you lift the "pull here" tab, the image turns into color. Perfect for the little kids in your life! How fun is that? This image shows the card in it's state that you mail it.
Here's the card once you have extended the "pull here" tab all the way. How fun is that?

Here's a fun 3-D card for the holidays. I made two slightly different cards using the same supplies. The fold down and fit into an A2 envelope. Isn't that just perfect. I love these cute little cards. I hope you are all having fun making cards for the holidays.

Surprise, it's Santa!! What a cute card. I took two photos so you could see it closed and opened. Inside is a shaker with Santa. How cute is that? you have to sign it on the back though. Overall, it's just one of the cutest cards in this year's collection of creations.
Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas! I made a lot of great Christmas theme cards this year, mostly from wonderful Recollections packages that I just loved. They are super cute. Here's a long/tall card, HO HO HO! It's got a wonderful scratch off in the center, which kids will just love as an interactive element. I wonder who's behind the silver?
