BFF

Sharing the cutest image from Tiddly inks today.  I love this cute rabbit.  I used BFF because I feel like I am making a bunch of BFFs after getting to know everyone so well this month!  Thanks so much for celebrating with me! I am so very thankful to be here and be celebrating again this year.  HUGE thanks to Dr Aboumatar!  He's the best.

Question of the day?

what do you not use?

for me, usually alphabets, chipboard, huge bling (like those beautiful spirals, I love their look but always get frustrated adding them to my card), sometimes I shy from transfers as well.

Is your name in blue on the winner list? Then I need your address!  htondre@aol.com

Crazy 4 You!

Here's a darling image using a stamp from Tiddly Inks. I do adore her cute digi stamps.  I thought this one was just perfect for February.  I also added some yummy Turkish lace to go with it.  I just love being in Turkey and shopping for such gorgeous laces and ribbons too.  Such fun!  There's store after store after store. It's amazing in the lace district.  WOW.  A crafter's dream.  Lucky they don't have a stamp district, lol!

Question of the day

what is your favorite embellishment (s)?

mine, do I have to say it?  Yes, Lace first, then buttons, then flowers, then brads, then, hmmm, cardstock stickers and 3d stickers.....

Nurse Card

Here's another nurse theme card that I made.  It's among those that I sent to the local nursing home (at the end of my street in Austin) when I sent them a bunch of cards around Easter time.  I sent cards for all the residents along with cards for the staff including a couple of cards for the nurses.

These cute stamps were freebie images from Tiddly Inks stamps in digi format on their Facebook Group.  I love this company's images. I have made a number of wonderful cards using their images (see HERE). So drop by their page and maybe get this freebie and check them out!

Thank you Nurses!

Here's a card I made using an image from a wonderful set of Freebies from Tiddly Inks.  These images were available on their Facebook site (try HERE).  I made two cards using them so far and sent them along with about 85 other cards to the local nursing home that is at the end of my street.  I just wanted to do some outreach to my local neighbors who I know have really been in "lock down".

They have been confined to their rooms, social distancing, unable to leave, have visitors, etc.  I thought some wonderful handmade cards would make their day.  I also sent cards for some nurses and the other office staff.  I really hoped it brightened everyone's day.  Perhaps if you know a local nursing  home nearby, reach out to them!  This home was one that my dear neighbor lived in for a while before passing.  He was a volunteer there for years and years while he lived next door and his sister in law lived in the facility and when he finally needed a home to go to, he went there.  So It's a place I have visited quite a number of times.

I love you

Here's a wonderful image from Tiddly Inks.  I am also using some great lace from Turkiye.  It's about a week before I will actually be there, though my flight will be on the 25th.  I can't wait to see my friend and her family.  What a beautiful and exciting city to be in, Istanbul, and then to travel and see such important Biblical sites.

Hope you are all having a great week, I am still doing therapy three times a week, just three more sessions before I go!

Lolipop, Lolipop

Here's an adorable image from Tiddly Inks. I love this artist's cute little girl stamps. I did this card using all pinks of different shades (monotone). I hope you like it.

I can't believe its the first week of June now, vacation in right around the corner!  I am in the middle of therapy on my elbow now trying to get movement of my left arm again.

Clean and simple card

Here's a sweet and simple flower image from Tiddly Inks that I used for this card. I am using simple and elegant papers from Paper Temptress.  The base of the card is a very elegant silver that shimmers when you move it in the light.  There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE

The base of the card is called Silver Ore.  I used a die cut to cut the pattern out on the right and then used some Basis Black to put behind the from layer of the card.  The image is printed out on Heavenly White paper and layered onto Basis Black.

Happy Christmas Eve

Here's one of the CUTEST little girl stamps from Tiddly Inks!  She's just perfect for a sweet Christmas card this year.  I colored her up with copic markers and layered her on black papers.  I am using some fun trees from Jolees that I decorated with little red light bulb stickers. I finished off my card with some elegant Turkish lace.  There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE

I want to wish you all a happy Christmas Eve. I hope you all have a wonderful and a merry Christmas tomorrow if you don't get a chance to drop by!

Christmas Reindeer

Here's another quick and cute Christmas card using some embossed paper, a die cut with a digi reindeer stamp from Tiddly Inks and some Jolees snowflakes.  I totally love how the color on this reindeer turned out.  I think he would also look super cute with a red nose as well.  There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE

Have a great Sunday and I hope your week goes well.  Many blessings to all today!

It's my birthday!

It's my birthday today, I'm a whopping 47 years old.  Of course I have been telling everyone I was 47 for the past year, lol, so I guess I will just stay the same age, or so it will seem.  Here's a darling image from Tiddly Inks today, thought this was a cute girl to celebrate with and naturally ORANGE, one of my favorite colors.  There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE

Hope everyone else has a wonderful day today.  Cheers, Holley

Christmas Pixie

Sharing this project today using a sweet image from Tiddly Inks.  I got a bunch of their fun stamps during the black Friday special including this cutie for Christmas time.  She's called Christmas Pixie.  SO cute.  There's a Tiddly Inks Challenge blog HERE.
Countdown is on for Christmas break.  I am going to actually miss the kids.  Most of them are so very sweet.  I hope they too have a wonderful Christmas.

Fleece Navidad

Here's a funny Christmas theme image that comes from Tiddly Inks.  I thought this was so fun.   It's called Fleece Navidad.  I also have a funny stamp from another company in the same theme with sheep and a cute one with puppies that says "fleas navidad."  I guess where I grew up in San Antonio, Feliz Navidad was the common sentiment in Spanish for Merry Christmas.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Just 7 more days of school until the kids and I all enjoy our Christmas break!

She's a bird, she's a plane....

Here's a cute image of a girl dressed in a super hero costume by artist Christie Croll (Tiddly Inks).  I know it's hard to tell from this photo, but the card is actually made on a CLEAR Transparency.  It's super cool in person as it looks like she is flying.  I added some wonderful shiny silver die cuts that you could see on the inside of it from the front of the card.

I am using Neenah Solar White Classic Crest Paper for the image that I printed on my computer and colored with copic markers.  I layered the image on some beautiful column paper in Red Pepper.  Then I used glue dot to add that to a clear transparency which I folded into an A2 card size. Then I used a sheet of silver pearl linen to die cut some detailed ornate Tattered Lace dies attach to the inside of the transparency.  It looks like she is just floating now.

Snokeling Bunny!

Here's a perfect image for summer time and a lovely stamp from Tiddly Inks.  I just love that artist's adorable images, esp her cute little girls.  This fun oceanic image goes well with the sentiment I chose. It says "My eyes are an ocean in which my dreams are reflected.  Anna M Unlich"

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.  Live it up while it is still summertime!

Cheers, Holley

Here's an adorable image from Tiddly Inks. I thought he would be perfect for a Christmas card this year.  I added a sweet sentiment, "May all you days be merry and bright."  Doesn't this dog give you a smile?

Have a Merry & Bright day, today and for the rest of the holidays!

Happy Fall

Here's a Tiddly Ink's image that I did for an autumn theme card today.  I got these fun die cuts that I used on the corners from Create and Craft TV.  I have been busy doing much work for the church bazaar followed by two classes that I had last week.  Now I have a short breather before the next class which is set up for Dec 7th.

Happy Fall everyone. It has finally started to feel  a little like it here in south TX.  I mean, it was not even in the 80s yesterday.

Cheers, Holley

Autumn Love

Here's a fun Pumpkin theme card using the cutest little kitties from Tiddly Inks. I just adore this sweet image.  I am using pumpkins in my image, pumpkin printed paper, pumpkin bling, and a pumpkin shaker.  How much more pumpkin can you get?
Have a great pumpkin day everyone.  Let me ask, do you like to eat pumpkin?  do you have a favorite pumpkin food (other than pie)?  The other day I had pumpkin cheesecake gelato.  Other than that--hmmm, this season I have had Pumpkin bread, pumpkin walnut bagels with pumpkin cream cheese, pumpkin chocolate bar, pumpkin caramels, oh, pretzels dipped in pumpkin choc., of course, pumpkin pie....that's all I can think of so far...

How about you?  what pumpkin things am I missing out on?

Halloween Spooks

Here's the cutest little witch from Tiddly Inks.  Sharing this fun Halloween girl for the contest over on the Tiddly Inks challenge this week. Their theme is to use craft paper (like brown bag paper), which is the base of my card here.  I think it goes perfect with this green copic color and a deep set of oranges.

Check out all the other fun Tiddly Ink cards at their contest blog

Happy Tuesday everyone, have you been enjoying the weather?  here we have been in the mid 80s!  that's like amazing for us.  I have to laugh because everyone is like, isn't it just wonderful outside.  You know you live in South Texas when weather in the 80s is FALL temperature.

Cheers, Holley
