Today we are welcoming the kids back to school. Normally I would not be working today but I am substituting for a peer at work. So this week I am doing 4 days plus an extra before and after school duty time. We'll see if that makes the week long....

Here's a great card from SEI. I thought I would end the month with a Happy Harvest theme card. I love the greens on this card. Though I guess that's not the color scheme of fall. Oh well, we needed a different color card for the month!
I don't know if y'all remember but a while back I spent a weekend with my sister and some of her friends and we had a crafting weekend. I made all those halloween, thanksdgiving, christmas and a few other topics of cards. What fun. Here's a MINI card that I made, I did about 40 mini sized cards.
Day 3....we'll be counting the days for a little while, at least until things start to normalize and the kiddos seem to get the routine and understand what is going on. That's usually a week or two. They acclimate pretty well fairly quickly really.

Thanks so much for all the prayers! I am so happy to report that the doctor's (2nd round of testing) came back as good and there's no problem with the mass they had found in my breast! WOO HOO. Thanks for all the positive thoughts this week.

Here's a fun card from SEI, too cute. Meow...You are PURRfect. I just love this cute card kit from them. What's funny is I often take card kits like this with me to Turkiye, thinking in my free time I will sit down and do one. I mean, I get home in the evening and don't go out much after dark, so.....but still, I don't ever do them!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. This is my last weekend before I have to go back to school with the kiddos. what is so weird is that when I am off and not working, almost immediately I can't sleep all the way through the night, and I am constantly waking up in the middle of the night and getting up to do things. It's crazy. During school, I sleep on a dead tight schedule, like 10 hours a night. When school is out and even on a weekend, three hours here, three hours there...what?? It makes for weird days....

Wow, the first friday of the year. I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to the first weekend of the year. Here in Austin they are having a huge International Gem and Jewelry show which I may go to. I haven't done nearly as much jewelry as I used to do, esp when I did jewelry for the church bazaar, but I still love beads, esp when I am in Turkiye.

Here's a black cat card to celebrate the Halloween. This card comes from SEI. I just love their card kits. They don't seem to work as much in the card making realm as they used to, but I LOVE their supplies, esp their beautiful papers. Just five more nights to Halloween. I look forward to seeing the kiddos.
Trick or Treat everyone! Wouldn't we all prefer a treat? a crafting treat for that matter....speaking of crating treats keep me in mind for the month of February as I am coming upon year 14!! WOW. Can you believe that?!? for those of you who are new. Year 14, means I am 14 years post 2 brain surgeries that saved my life! WOO HOO and better yet I haven't had a seizure since. AMEN.
Here's a pumpkin themed card for Halloween that I made from an SEI kit. Little dissapointed in how this photographed as the image has orange foil on it but it doesn't show up. Either in a photo or a scanner. It's really a lot prettier than it looks here.

Here's a cute (Not so much scary lol) card from SEI. I love the papers that come with their wonderful kits. They send extra too so you can change the patterns you want to make or add extra embellishments to your cards. I can't believe it' the middle of the first week in October. WOW

Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to share a Halloween theme card today because it is just around the corner! This card comes from a wonderful kit 2-year-olds got from SEI. I just love making Halloween theme! I am working at my school with the 2 year olds and one thing I do every day is crafts with them. it's SO cute. I get to come up with projects every day.
Here's a card for the DH, "you are the one." I would hope after 25 years that he knows that. He's such a sweety letting me goto Turkiye all summer long. I love him for that. He's just the best.
