I thought this card would be fun for either Halloween or Valentines, lol!  She's a fun zombie from Kraftin' Kimmie.  Who wouldn't want a zombie card with a heart?  I guess if I was going to get a zombie card, I would want one with heart.

Have a spooktacular Halloween

I have started making some Halloween cards now, as you all know it's one of my favorite holidays, esp with SKULLS in mind.  This adorable stamp comes from Lizzy Love of Oddball Arts.  I adore her girly stamps but I do also just LOVE her cute skull images.  I thought this image would be just perfect for a Halloween stamp

The sentiment comes from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps.  I am trying to recall where I got that skull die cut, off hand it escapes me, if you know, please leave a comment!

Morning Time

Love this Kraftin Kimmie girl, she is just too cute. She's my reminder that I need to be turning into a morning person because I have to start getting ready to be working at the school this year!  I am thinking we will be going back starting on Aug 14th, so I best start getting back to the morning schedule, lol!  I would say break out the coffee, but I don't do coffee, so break out the Diet Dr Pepper!!

I haven't heard back from the school district yet, but I did have two calls from the principal at the school right next to my house last week. It's the one that I worked at last year so I was thrilled.  She called, did my interview on the phone right then, and then called the next day to let me know that my paperwork was going on.

So everyone please keep your fingers crossed that I hear from the HR department as it is not 100% controlled by the local principal at the school.

My heart is bursting!!

Just like this image my heart is bursting and so is my crafting room table (and floor and all the surrounding areas lol!!!)  I am so happy to be here, Feb 2017!!!  It is marking 7 years post brain surgery!  WOO HOO!!

For those who are old and new, wonderful prizes will be given out everyday this month. I have so much goodies this year for everyone.  I am so very thankful to be here and be happy and healthy.   For those of you are new and haven't been here, this wonderful celebration comes in February as in 2010 I was so very ill and met the doctor that finally saved my life, he got me in to have brain surgery just a few months after he met me and I have never been the same since!! So, now, for a little technical stuff.  As in the recent years past, the cost of mailing overseas has gotten much higher.  To combat that I have simply changed what I can send overseas to things like flat stamp sets or dies.  They have to be things I can include in a flat envelope.  Wish I could send much more, but as soon as it's a package, the price is SIX times a card rate.  Better to get a nice single prize or wonderful digis than for me to exclude anyone.  I love all my friends all over the globe and I won't exclude anyone!!

So please do let me know if you are overseas and try and answer the questions once and a while as I am actually paying attention to what it is you like, if you only get one or two goodies, lets make them something you will really love, eh?

As for everyone, I look forward to getting to know you all month long. I don't mail out the prizes until the end of the month. As previous winners can tell you I am pretty quick at getting out all the prizes and I will let everyone know when they hit the post office.  Please keep in mind that if I do get a job in the next month that will also slow down the mailing process.  I expect many people will win more than once, so even after you win, continue to play as I will often award multiple winners each day and I will keep track of how many times you have won.  Typical prizes may include a stamp set or a set of embellishments packs.  I have ALL sorts of goodies this year.

Care for a spot of tea?

Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea Artist TheEastWind.  She has a wonderful stamp line using a character called Lucy Loo. Totally one of my favorites. This image is called Lucy Loo Mad Hatter.  It's currently available in both Rubber and Digi format.  Be sure to check out the links to the store as you will see how totally different the artist's original coloring on this image looks compared to my own.  How cool is it to see two totally different looks ont he same stamp.

I used die cuts from CC Designs and a tea cup from Doodle bug designs to go with some MAMBI paper for this card.  Don't you just love Alice in Wonderland theme?  I had to share this card the day after sharing my Mad Hatter yesterday.

What's the hatter with you?

Here's a card using a fun image from SLS Lines with a great paper combination from Paper Temptress.  I love being able to use bold and bright, even neon colors to really POP sometimes. I think this image really goes with this beautiful paper combo.  The image is Mad Hatter.  I added a fun sentiment from Kraftin Kimmie rubber stamps.

 

The awesome specialty papers on this projects are all from Paper Temptress.  The base of the card is a beautiful Mica/Metallic called Fairway.  I embossed it with a Darice embossing folder.  I then added a pink/brown Hambly Studio Screenprint called Mod Circles.  It is a small portion of the sheet I linked to.  Over the Screen Print I added a Hambly Studio Overlay called Lime Mini Graph.  I printed out my image on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest and colored it with copic markers to complete the card.

Zombie Girl

Here's a fun zombie girl from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. I just love their fun Halloween images too. Just one more day now.  I am at least looking forward to seeing all the cute kids in their costumes all sweet and happy faced at the door.  A bunch of people in my neighborhood have their houses totally decked out.  I don't mean a carved pumpkin on their patio, I mean the WHOLE yard and front of their house.

I even saw today a Skull, I don't know if it's paper mache or what, but that skull stood at least five foot tall and was three and half foot wide.  Just fun when I do my daily walking to see everyone's fun Halloween décor.

I'll put a spell on you!

Here's an awesome image from Kraftin' Kimmie. I totally love their stamps, esp the Halloween themed ones.  This voodoo lady is no exception.  I have to say the sentiment here totally makes me think of that old song. So when I read that sentiment, it's always in the voice of that singer (Jay Hawkins).

There's an anything goes challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie blog so I am going to show this card to them. I have so many wonderful Halloween stamps (who am I kidding, I own like every Annie Rodrigue image and a bunch of others....) that I have to get cards made with before the season is over....

A little Voodoo

Here's a simple and sweet Stamping Chef card today, she's sitting with her voodoo doll and I added a Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment "I'll put a spell on you!"  As you can see with all the hearts on the card, I am putting out a love spell....

Though perhaps with that spike in the head, hmmmm....well as the person who had brain surgery, perhaps I am putting out a spell to get rid of all those horrible headaches.  Though I must say, since surgery almost all of my headaches went away.  Amazing!!  I am going to put this card in the TSC Challenge this week.

Sharing this hot as ever Stamping Chef image!  Don't you love her.  Must say when I was in the hospital getting my brain done, I don't recall any of the nurses being quite this sexy.  I think the prettiest nurse that I recall actually dropped a very heavy bag full of wiring that was attached to plates on my head on me (my head!!!)  OH, if I could have punched her...seriously.   I know my husband was giving me that deer in the headlights look when it happened.  Eeek!

It's good to be Queen

Isn't this a fine Queen?  here's an awesome stamp and sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie stamp on a card made by DCWV.  I just love how this card goes with this image. It looks as if it was fit for a Queen.  She's a real beauty.

Just a few more days of vbs to go now. Do you think I have taught the kids at church enough crafts yet? I am trying.

Be Yourself

This stamp has to be one of my all time favorites. It's from Kraftin' Kimmie.  How can you not totally love this girl, dollies and all?  She's just perfect!!  Too fun.  I always loved this artist's images (Annie Rodrigue of Midnight Whispers).

I am using my favorite spring colors here, ORANGE, lol, and a tiny bit of yellow. I also added some fun spring flowers as the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge this week is Spring theme.

here's an awesome image from Kraftin Kimmie, she's Boo-tiful.  I got this awesome paper from SEI at the last scrapbook convention I went to this September. I have to make this fun card.  I don't know if I would totally consider this Halloween...Hmmm. perhaps.  Looks like something I might wear year round,lol!  Here in Austin we have one of the biggest bat colonies in the world, so the community is very PRO-bat.  So this cutie is A-ok!

Here's a fun card from Kraftin' Kimmie. This witch is off on a flight, so adorable!  I had to add a bat on her card and I just love that skull she's got hanging from her broomstick. How adorable is that!  CUTE!

Here's an adorable girl from Kraftin' Kimmie.  Don't you love their cute girls?  I sure do. She's rollin' in the cotton candy!  YUM.  I added a fun saying "Life with you is sweet!"  That's for my hubby, life with him sure is sweet and keeps getting better year after year.  I can't wait to see what tomorrow holds. 

Hope you are all having a great holiday weekend.  We aren't doing anything special, but spending the time at home together, which is just how I like it.  This cute card makes me think of an adorable notepad that I got from KnockKnockStuff.com it's a checklist called "Why you Really Really Really Deserve Candy" with a huge list where you check off reasons...too cute.
