Hello everyone! I hope you are having a blessed Sunday. I hope to pick something fun to do today. Perhaps I will go to Istikel Street and walk up and down. There's amazing gorgeous churches to see. I don't go in because on Sundays they are having services and I don't with to bother the patrons.

Happy Tuesday. So I have been talking about Eskisehir this week since it is one of my destinations on this trip. One thing I want to see there is a glass museum that I missed somehow on my last trip there. It's in the Osmangasi area. I went to the Modern Glass art museum. Here's a photo from it.
But I recently saw a photo of another Glass art museum in the city, at the time of writing this posting, I couldn't find the address of the other museum, so ??? i hope to get there and ask around.

Today feels like my first day in Turkiye for real. But I am sure that I am just dead tired, so I won't be out for very long before I go back to Aksaray the area Istanbul where I am staying
Arrived in Türkiye yesterday early evening. SO happy to be here. Still tired, but NOTHING like my usual 24+ hours that it usually takes. I still have gone more than a day without sleep but still saved by 10 hours and found it hard to sleep It's a problem of both excitement plus being in a strange location without the DH. I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow looking for something to do, lol. Problem is it's Eid here in Türkiye starting today so most everything will be closed. I am thankful to have come in a little early so I could buy some food and drink.
Happy Memorial Day to all my friends in the USA, especially those with family members who are deceased military. Huge thanks to all they gave and all you gave as family of those who served. We salute all of you.
Thankful to be arriving in Istanbul today. I will get there at 5:30pm Istanbul time.
Happy Saturday. Time to work on packing and making a final check list. I am also going through some travel websites and looking at tours or classes that would be fun to take while in Istanbul. Any recommendations? things that have caught my eye on this trip--making Turkish Delights, jewelry workshop, cooking.

Happy Thursday, just 6 more days of school for me. 6 Geese a laying--lol I'll take GOLD eggs or chocolate eggs. Mind you I said Chocolate, not chocolate looking. (are y'all sick of the 12 days of Christmas theme yet?) I sure am going to miss these kids. I will have to take some extra photos to upload into the classroom cloud for everyone to see. It's time for another Foodie Friday for the kiddos. I wonder what goodie we will have for this today. How about some oranges? Happy Wednesday. I am excited to go and see the kiddos today. I'm continuing on with my Spring themed cards, I love this one from American Crafts, Lets BLOOM this spring and all be happy. I have to say I got two amaryllis plants this christmas from my kiddos at school and they were such a delight to watch bloom.
Hello all! First day of the week that I will be in school. Hope the kids missed me since it has been 11 days since they have seen me, I look forward to seeing them, even in just 11 days sometimes you can see them GROW. It's amazing.

Happy Thursday everyone! I am taking a luxury bus (Vonlane) to Dallas today and then going to Irving today for the Scrapbooking and Stamp convention tomorrow. I can't wait to see everything and enjoy some special time with my god mother. I hope it's tons of fun.

All you need is LOVE. I totally remember last year while working with the 1-year-olds that I would be sitting with them during naptime and the teacher would always play the Beatles in Muzak form (so piano or just wordless). I listened to the same set of music, everyday for months. Lucky that I can enjoy it. I listened to it A LOT.

Happy Friday the 13th! Ooo, that sounds ominous. Do other countries have an evil type connotation associated with Friday the 13th? is that just in the USA? I have no idea where that idea came from or if it just developed due to the movies. Hmmm, inquiring minds.
