New contest at the YSBP Challenge blog

Happy July everyone!  It's time for a brand new contest on the Your Scrapbook Place challenge blog.  Our sponsor this month is Enchanted School stamps.  They have provided an awesome Mermaid collection that the design team used to create cards.  Here's my CAS card using just one of the images from the darling set (click here to see the set at her ETSY store)
The cute sentiment says "Live in way to make happy memories."  The contest at the blog is ANYTHING GOES, so you can share with us any of your new art projects, we'd love to see them.  You could win a fun art set from Enchanted School.

Cutest Mermaid

Here's a darling image from Enchanted School, this adorable mermaid comes in a set with 4 other mermaids and a bunch of other cute items for just $1.58!!  How awesome is that. They are just super cute.  Drop by her store and check out her darling images and pick up a set.  She provided several wonderful prizes during my celebration month this past February.  Here's a little Thank You for her!

I am using some fun sticky lace that I found in a scrapbook store in Istanbul last time, I hope to see others or more paper/scrapbook stores this time.  I wouldn't call this Turkish lace though, I don't know where the product came from, much like the similar products you and I get in the USA, most likely from China.  Something I noticed in Turkey, in the USA it will always say "Made in China" in Turkey it will say "Made in PRC"

You and Me

Here's the cutest image from a store called Enchanted School on Etsy.  She has this Cute Digi set that I will be giving away this month and I just adore her images.  I colored this girl up in copic markers and used some great Turkish lace and prima flowers to go with her.

If you get a chance to look at her store, I also adore this cute Mermaid stamp set she has in addition to the four girl stamp set that this image comes from.  This cute image set will be the prize that I give out (the entire four image set).

Question of the day:  what is your favorite card theme?

for me, my favorite theme is probably just everyday cards, but I also love to make Halloween cards, I am sure that's a surprise;  I also have started doing more and more birthday cards as I work at a school now with lots of other people.  But I do love to make the Halloween cards, esp with skulls (lol, must be my brain fascination)

Happy Birthday Desi

Happy Birthday today Desi!!  I hope you have a Very Special Day.

Here's a wonderful stamp from Enchanted School.  I got a cute 4 stamp set from this Etsy store and the owner has graciously agreed to give away prizes during my celebration next month!  WOO HOO!!  I can't wait until you see the other cute cards that I made with this artist's fabulous images.  She's from Norway and describes herself as "I’m a mom, wife, illustrator, artist, designer, author and teacher. I live in Norway, believe in magic, practice yoga, eat chocolate and cookies, draw, paint, read, write and try to be as creative as possible. "  Don't you love her already?

Check out and "like" her Etsy store HERE.

Do you like the awesome embroidered ribbon on the card I made?  I got that while in Turkiye on vacation.  It's so beautiful in real life. I don't think this photo does it justice at all.
