Grandma Card

Here's a pre-mother's day card that I made for a grandma.  Both of my and both of my husband's grandmother's are deceased now, but I wanted to make this card for a friend.  I am just LOVING the gorgeous paper from paper source on this card.  YUM.

For Mom

 Happy Monday of Spring Break!! Woo Hoo.  I am so thankful to have this time off.  Especially because I have plans this year to travel with my mother to the annual Scrapbook Expo in Irving Texas.  We went last year (it was in October) and it was such a blast!!  I hope this spring it will be as much fun!

Gorgeous papers

Here's some stunning paper from Paper Source. I created this card "Heart of Gold" for my mom for the upcoming convention we are going to next week during spring break. I am so excited to go. I hope she is too. We are actually flying on a semi-private jet, which I have never done before. It's called JSX and it flies dallas to autin and back daily as well as serveral other locations.  I hope it's as good as it is touted.

Here's a wonderful card from a kit that I got from Paper Source. It comes with lovely specialty papers.  I altered the sentiment (it was supposed to be a mother's day card), I added the lovely wooden embellishment and added the background.  I thought this card was a lovely sentiment card for Valentine's day without being too lovey-dovey.  It sends a clear message of heart without sap!

Sharing this handmade card using beautiful handmade paper from Paper Source. Here's a simple but I feel a very powerful card using a sentiment that I THINK is from Unity stamps, (please tell me if I am wrong).  I am using stunning papers from a kit by Paper Source.   What gorgeous handmade paper they have!

I have some simple ones like this from Unity stamps that I like.  Occasionally I will use some bible verses or other for Easter or Christmas, but I don't use a ton of religious theme stamps.

Oolong?

So all of you know one of my favorite themes is Coffee/tea.  Here's a great stamp/sentiment from Cat's Pajamas rubber stamps.  I am using some gorgeous specialty papers from Paper Studio.  I colored it with copic markers.

so let's start off the month with a question of the day, each day I will ask a question, I keep a notebook, I jot down people's info, what they like and don't like and then use that info each year to build their packages so they get something that they hopefully will love!  So it's definitely in your interest to answer the QUESTION OF THE DAY everyday so you will get prizes you LOVE.

 Happy Monday everyone!  The countdown is one for the celebration in February now!  We are just over a week and a half away.  I would have a bunch more photos of prizes, but as usual, I am getting tired of taking photos lol!  I have SO SO SO much more prizes, I have a whole BOX of christmas stamps, a WHOLE box a word theme stamps, a whole box of girl/people stamps,  a whole box of just die cuts.  WOW, so much to give away but too much to take photos of lol!!  Hopefully I will get in a little more photos but don't hold your breath, lol  Oh wait, I have a WHOLE box of  UNITY STAMPS. That I will take photos of for sure! stay tuned!

Week 1 done!

 Well, it's the end of week 1 of the year 2023, and we have monday off.  WOO HOO.  We are thankful for that.  It's a good way to break the kids into the routine slowly.  Here's a card using some gorgeous specialty papers from Paper Source and the cutest cat from Rubber Necker.

Bloom

 Sharing this gorgeous card, mostly just gorgeous PAPER from Paper Source using a sentiment from Unity Stamps.  This is some great specialty paper that I got in a card kit, though i just loved this paper that I bought a whole sheet of this (mulberry paper);  We are having a record heat right now in texas (83 degrees) and believe me, I'm not complaining!! The weather is really lovely right now.  I hope it stays this way for the rest of winter, lol!

Thank You for Voting!!

 Happy Voting day.  Schools are closed here in Austin.  Mainly because many of them are used as poling places.  Teachers however are required to be at work today.  I personally had already gone to vote.  So hopefully it is a quiet day at the school, ours will not be used for voting.  For those of you voting, best of luck, I know the lines can be long, but I very much appreciate you doing your civic duty and voting!!
