Gimme a kiss

You just gotta love this fun image from artist Lisa Victoria. This adorable stamp is called Daphne's Dilema. I can just chuckle while I imagine the sweet talk this frog is trying to give to this girl. This stamp comes on plate #49 and has the cutest saying to go with it! "Sometimes, you have to kiss a few frogs to find a prince." You don't see this saying on my card above as I used it on the inside of my card. On the front of this card, I used some great sayings that come from other plates of Sweet Pea Stamps "Enchantment" from plate #38 and "Sending you O's & X's" from Gum Drop Gang's Be Mine sheet. I hope you all have an enchanting day!

Halloween Card

Have a 'boo'tiful day! I think this image from Elaine Cox is just beautiful! Right now, I am getting ready for the fall season by making many Halloween theme cards for friends and family. I am just loving Sweet Pea's stamps in this area. This wonderful stamp makes stunning cards.
I used a dark green card to match the witch's dress and a grey color to use for the cat, her eyes, and parts of her hair. This stamp comes from Plate #52 and is called Kitty Pumpkin Witch. The cute saying actually comes from a sheet of stamps designed by Samantha Rawlings Plate 62. I added some beautiful Bazzill Ribbon and Making Memories ribbon embellishment to finish off the card's design. If you haven't yet signed up for the blog candy, be sure to scroll down to the Aug 17th entry now!

Sweet Little Tilda

Wednsday's card has little Tilda looking for you. She's such a cutie. I added a Greek Proverb on vellum paper "A heart that loves is always young" I hope all of you have a young heart. If not, you need to reach out to those around you and make it younger. Sometimes I just look around and see all sorts of things I love. The world can be an amazing place. Stop for a moment and just look around. The other night I was doing my 2 hour walk and stopped for a moment to watch a small owl hooting in a tree. What a delight. The smallest things should make one smile.

Project Materials: Cardstock(Bazzill, Pressed Petals, Neenah); Stamp(Tilda: Magnolia); Ink (Memento); Buttons (American Crafts); Brads (Bazzill); Saying (JoAnns); Border (Doodlebug Designs); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (Glue All, Pop Dots);

Believe in Yourself

Wishing you all a great Tuesday. We have finally hit the 100s here, but are blessed with a low humidity which actually makes the temperature feel much nicer. I managed a two hour walk last night and hardly felt as hot as previous evenings. Here's a sunflower for all of you. They are growing so tall around here, some people have their whole yards covered in them, taller than even me. It's unusual to see as normally summer gets too hot for them to make it unless the person waters them (which most don't).
Project Materials: Card (Westrim); Cardstock(Bazzill, Neenah); Embossing (Cuttlebug); Stamp (CC Designs); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Brad (Bo Bunny); Metallic (Making Memories); Buttons (Grandma's Button Bag); Flowers (Prima); Adhesives (Pop Dots, Glue All, Glue Dots); Color (Copic Markers);

Hero Arts Peacock

Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here's an adorable peacock stamp from Hero Arts. This stamp is one of the new style (cling mounted) they are selling. I love the style of these stamps and often search through the cling mounted stamps when shopping prior to wood mounted or (my least favorites) the clear style photo polymer stamps.I really just love the rubber stamps better and the cushion helps the images stamp better and more evenly. This bottom stamp is a saying made by Chatter Box. Wishing you all a Happy Monday!

Project Materials: Carstock (Bazzill, DCWV, Neenah); Flowers (Prima); Stamps (Hero Arts, Chatter Box); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Bling (Michaels); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue Dots, Glue All);

Here's a thought for this weekend "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6"I hope this weekend has been wonderful for you. Hope you are feeling refreshed and ready for a new month as well as this coming week. Many blessings to you!
