Hmmm, what will the new year bring?

Well the new school  year is about to get started and still i don't even know if I really have a job.  I guess I will find out soon enough if we have enough kids enrolled in our program to keep me, move me, put with me toddlers (sigh), or what?    I added the perfect sentiment to this card, "Dear Courage, don't leave me now."

I also added some great Turkish lace to this card to go with the beautiful orange paper.

 I thought this awesome image from Dead Sea Toons was great for my traveling time.  She's named Verbena.  I just love this line of girl stamps that you can get at her Etsy store or at Blank Page Muse in rubber format.

What happens now?  so over the next couple of days I will be picking the winners from the last few days and writing up the Grand Prize winner list (it will be out by Midnight on the 3rd, but maybe the 2nd if I am quick!);  After that I will start mailing out packages everyday (well, as fast as I can, and each day you will see a list of what has gone out in the mail). I thought these darling hugging cats were just TOO cute. I adore this artist and her other stamp line, Dead Sea Toons.  She also has a fabulous line of rubber stamps sold by BlankPageMuse.com  I added some great Turkish lace to this card to finish it off.  I was trying to think of a fun sentiment to go with it.  Cat love or something funny.  I know, that's corny, but I like funny sentiments.

Don't let them tell you

Here's another wonderful Dead Sea Toon stamp from Miss Rach Stamps.  I added a great sentiment that I thought was just perfect for this month, "Don't let them tell you it can't be done."  I can't even tell you how many doctors I saw before Dr. Aboumatar who said they would fix me, help me, stop my sickness....I think I might have even laughed when doctor's said it because so many tried and nothing ever happened.  Dr. Aboumatar was of course very different because it was going to mean Brain Surgery, which was super scary, not because of brain surgery so much as the fact that about two thirds of the people who go for testing to see if they qualify for brain surgery don't qualify.  When I realized that my first appointment with him was resulting in brain surgery testing, I immediately stood up, walked out of the exam room, got my husband to listen because my brain had checked out.

Once he said, "it's time."  I was way more afraid of not qualifying for brain surgery than the surgery itself.

Loving these stamps over at Miss Rach Stamps new shop called the Dead Sea Toons.  They are just too much fun! I tried to think up a funny saying for this one, but it just escaped me....I know, I know, how can I not think up a zombie saying with the work OWL?
