 Happy Monday everyone!  Today is a teacher workday, so back to the office, well, not exactly, we are going to another location for teacher training then back to our school in the afternoon.  Tomorrow will start up the school week with the kiddos.

Thick and Thin

Aren't we all glad it is Saturday?  Just curious for all my dear friends overseas....I notice this when I am in Turkiye for example, but most of my friends there don't get off work on Saturday (just the teachers and gov't workers).  Most people that I know from Turkiye work 6 days a week.  Is that true in your country?

Last day to celebrate

 Well, I say that but really everyday of life is a celebration for me!  Everyday that I get without any seizures and my health back is truly a blessing from God thanks to Dr Aboumatar.  So even though there won't be an everyday celebration here on the blog for the rest of the year, there is an everyday celebration that I am living on!!

Dear Sandra, I miss you

 Here's a wonderful image from one of my favorite artists!  Sandra Caldwell.  I am sure some of you are aware that she passed away unexpectedly.  It made me quite sad, but her memory lives on in these beautiful images that she created.  I was on her design team from the start and worked with her at several different stamp companies.

Hello Sweet Friend

 Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you all are getting excited about next month's celebration. I know I am.  Just 11 days until that, then a month of celebration, then two weeks to spring break, then 9 weeks to TURKIYE!!  Comes so quick.  Well, maybe not that quick there is so much that needs to happen between then and now, namely I have to sell a TON (ok not a metric ton) but a LOT of lace before i go so I can buy more.  ha ha.  This cute card uses Turkish lace and comes from Pink & Main.

Hola!

 Happy January 2nd!  Day 2 of 2024.  WOW.  when I was kid (of the 70s and 80s) did i think i would be saying that?  I mean of course logically i knew that would come but really?  dang I am old lol!  So now that we are in January, you all know what is coming...yep, February Celebration!  WOO HOO.  I am so happy to be celebrating another year of seizure free life.  WOO HOO.  Huge thanks to God for that and huge thanks to Dr Aboumatar for that.

Well, it's the last day of November!  I can't believe that December is upon us.  WOW.  That was fast.  Seems like the first couple of months of school have flown by.  Pretty soon we will be in Spring!  well, that's pretty relative.  I mean, jan-feb can be cold in TX too.

 Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving today!  Best Wishes. I hope you all have wonderful plans and get in a little bit of pumpkin pie :)  One thing I am thankful for this year is my amazing new job at the school that started last year in like February or so working part time with the 2 year olds.  What a delight.

Be Thankful

 There's always something to be Thankful for.  That's what this reflective card says.  I added some lovely Turkish lace to it as well.  I have been adding little comments this month about just a FEW of the things that I am thankful for...i mean I am leaving out the most obvious things that we are all thankful for, the roof over my head, the food on my table, the wonderful hubby, the fact that I have a job, that I live in a safe neighborhood, .....

Give Thanks

 Here's a love fall/thanksgiving theme card in many lovely fall colors. I added some great Turkish Lace to the project.  How sweet is that?  I just love the beautiful "fall" days, which for us is anything but summer or winter.  Could be 80 could be 40?  Hmmm....but in Nov, closer to 80, lol.  For thanks today, let me give those to my DH who gives me just everything I ever want and dream of including amazing tickets to Turkiye every summer!

Thankful

 Here's a wonderful Thankful card for today.  I will be sharing a number of Thankful cards over the month and I hope each time doing a little reflection about something that I am thankful about.  I am using some wonderful Turkish lace here, it's in the brown color family. I hope your November is off to a good start,  So, let's see, things I am thankful for:  I am so very thankful for all the medical personal that I have been seeing lately.  I know I seem to complain about it a lot, but the truth is these people are really wonderful and doing nothing but helping me better my life.

Here's a hilarious coffee theme card. It's a CATpuccino.  ha ha ha.  OK may be that was just corny and not very hilarious.  I hope it at least gave you a smile. I added some Turkish ribbon to it.

Here's a cute image from Cat's Pajamas stamps along with a funny sentiment from Rubbernecker.  I added some great Turkish lace to go with it and used an embossed card background.  How quick and cute is that?
