It's me, Holley!!

Here's an awesome stamp of me!  How cool is that?  Artist Sherri Baldy made this stamp of me for my birthday. She used a photo of me holding a basketball from my photos.  So adorable.  You can get this stamp at the SSS website, she's called Holley Besties.  I am entering this card in the SSS Challenge, which is to include some ribbon on your card this week. I have some black and white ribbon on the base of my card just above the white punch border.

For those of you who don't know me, I used to be a HUGE basketball collector, I mean HUGE.  I had one of the biggest sports card collections, so big that I was actually featured in a Basketball Magazine, Beckett, as a Super Fan.  My hubby and I went on our first (BLIND) date to a basketball game.

Did I tell you all that Besties Artist Sherri Baldy is also going to have lots of giveaways during my celebration month?  she is!!  She has the most adorable stamps out there, check out her wonderful images at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  We are having a challenge over at the Challenge blog (click here).  Get ready for the fun here on my blog, it starts Feb 1st!!

Today I am off to See Dr Aboumater!!  Taking him and his office some wonderful treats as a thank you for my 4 year anniversary of the Brain surgery.  Oreo Balls, some peanut butter chocolate treats, handmade earrings for the female staff, handmade cards for the doctor and a pen that my husband John made.

Country Kids

Here's a brand new image from Squigglefly artist Pamela Lehto called Country Kids 1.  This image is the boy stamp.  I colored him up in violet and green and then found the perfect papers from Paper Temptress to match up with him.  The background of this card is a beautiful striped paper in a dark brown called Canyon Brown Skinny Columns.  I highlighted the columns texture with a little white ink.  The next layer is some Clear Transparency from Hambly Studio.  It's Lime Brick.  I printed out my digital image on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it with copic markers.
Drop by the challenge this week at Squigglefly Blog, the challenge is Clean and Simple, so I think this card is just perfect for this week's game.  Join in the fun!  There's also a Clean and Simple challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room and it's sponsored by the Paper Company I am showing here, Paper Temptress!!
