Happy Saturday all! so happy to be done with school for the year and looking forward to traveling in just THREE days now. I can't believe so much changed this year. I am so very thankful for that. Most especially for my DH who made most of the changes possible and was super supportive (and bought me tickets to Turkiye).
Happy Friday everyone. It's the last day at FUMP today. We are having a teacher in-service day. I don't really know what we will be doing. Like AISD, it's supposed to be a training day, but usually involves a lot of clean up and readiness for summer. Though I know our classrooms get used in the summer time for several classes. I am getting pretty excited...just FOUR days to go.

Today is my last day with the kids. Tomorrow is the last day of school and Friday is a teacher in service day. Now it's just SIX days to go.....unreal now, I am sure to my friends and family that i am insufferable in my readiness to go on vacation, lol. Wishing all the kiddos at my school a wonderful summer and if they don't come back next year, I wish them a wonderful life!!

Happy Tuesday. Sharing this simply sweet card today. I actually used this card when I got an order at my etsy store that asked for a GIFT NOTE to be added to the order. I put the gift note with the purchase inside this card and sent the lace order to the receipient.

Happy Memorial day. The last several years school has been ending before this holiday but for some strange reason this year we are dragging on two whole days after today off. WHAT? well, it's fine, it cost me an extra week of vacation in Türkiye and of course, pushed me into June of buying a ticket which made the ticket cost more.

Here's a cute mini card today that I made with extra goodies in a Simple stories kit. They usually have enough parts to make the 8 cards they show with lots of cute leftovers to make extra cards as well. I highly recommend them *(this is NOT PAID recommendation just my honest opinion)
Happy Friday! I hope you all have great plans for the weekend. I was really hoping to get some special time with my DH this weekend. We just have two weekends left, but then he got tickets to a concert in California so he will be traveling. WHOOPS. I would say that makes me sad, but really I am happy for him. Happy HUMP day, it's my usual work day today, just three of those left this year. I can't believe it I will miss all my kiddos. Usually my job has me going from class to class, I don't spend this much time dedicated to a single class as I have for the last several months. So I have gotten way more attached to the kiddos.

Here's a lovely project done by Diana C using some of the lace she got from me. I just love her stitched project. So beautiful.
Here's the cutest little mini card using scraps leftover from cardmaking during the convention. The base is a cardstock from JoAnns. The text is part of a 12x12 pattern paper and the blue is also part of a pattern paper. I have learned to use all the scraps I get to make little mini cards .
I had to sneak in one more Teacher card for Teacher appreciation week, all the teachers in my school are so nice and so diligent in their work. They care so much about their students and work very hard at what they do. People think preschools are day cares but that is NOT at all true. These teachers do lesson plans, actually teach the kids things everyday, have class schedules, meetings, just like other teachers. Little kids before the age of 5 LEARN SO MUCH SO QUICKLY it's critical time for them,

On to Thursday, glad to have a day off. I think there's only three weeks left now. Will miss the kiddos over the summer. I know my school continues in the summer with some students. I was told when hired that I didn't have to work summer. So I really hope that is true. Here's a little card for all the teachers at my school. I think teacher appreciation is coming right up.

Happy May, it's Wed, so Happy Hump day, I am looking forward to getting though this week and spending a little time on the weekend with the DH. I only have 4 weekends left to visit with him and I think he's traveling at least one of those weekends......ugh.....I mean, I can hardly complain about his travel, given mine, but I do tend to get a little clingy right before I leave. Many times, when I get to Istanbul in June it's also very rainy some days. Very rainy, I have learned to take extra shoes that was when my first pair gets ruined....

Happy Monday, just 10 work days to go to the end of the year! WOW, just 29 calendar days until Turkiye. I can't believe how much the kiddos have grown this year. I mean, you see a lot of growth in the elementary school kids in a year, but in the preschool, WOW. one year in a toddler is a LOT. Happy May 1st. It's the last month of school now and it's getting warmer and warmer here in Texas. Thankful that it's not so hot in Istanbul yet. Here's a cutie from Simple Stories today. It's a school conference day so we won't have kids but will be doing in school tasking.
