Well, it's the last day of the month!  WOO HOO payday and I can't believe we are a month and a half into school at this point.  WOW.  Time sure does fly by.  I am excited to say that I already got my ticket to Dallas for the convention in Mesquite. It's a stamping convention and even my dear god mother says she will join me.  I am so excited.  Any of my readers going to this?

A perfect day

 Happy Monday everyone!  Time to see my kiddos again.  Funny that I call them my kiddos.  People often think that I am talking about my actual kids when I am referring to my students.  Today's monday so we'll be taking a fun "field trip" to the Capital of Texas.  Last week we actually went through security and walked inside the building.

You make me smile

 Off to school today.  It's Wednesday, so we will be either doing chapel, p.e. or music.  How fun.  Then we get to go outside, enjoy the Capitol (i,e, the Capitol of Texas) grounds to play in and go have lunch and take a nap.  Well, most of them just lay there and don't really nap anymore.  Here's something funny, one of my little kids was snoring and a kid two people over kept saying, "Someone is making farting noises!!"

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you are all set up for a great weekend.  I am sharing a cute mini card today.  I had such fun at my mother's house last spring before leaving for Turkiye making cards. It's Foodie Friday

Happy Friday everyone!  Hope you are having a great day.  I am so glad the weekend is here and we are going to have a great day with the kids.  One Fridays we do something called "Foodie Friday" and have the families of one kid bring in a food (usually a fruit or veggie) for all the kids to try.  Something like a Peach, a Pomegranate, a tomato,....something fairly common, but something many three year olds may not have tried yet.  We cut it open, we smell it, we feel it, and hopefully most of us try it.  If we like it we can get another bite!

Happiness today!

 Happy Monday everyone!  It's time for a happy day with the kiddos.  I have such a lovely class this year. I am with 9 kids on MWF.  They are so cute and so much fun.  They are all 3 year olds.  We play, we go outside, we have a huge playroom for big motor skills, we have snack and lunch, then nap and the day is over just like that!

Stampalistic

 Here's a card that I made at the convention in Irving last year.  It's from Stampalistic.  They have these amazing ornate floral stamps that you can stamp over and over on different matching papers and then trim and layer as I did here.  (and often add the most gorgeous bling as well).

Home Sweet Home

 Happy Monday everyone!  Time to go see my little kiddos at school.  I hope they are ready for a wonderful day.  One thing we do on Mondays is take a walk to the Texas Capital.  It's directly across the street from our school and we often play in the park there.  Mondays we take a walk on the capitol grounds.

Stay Cool!

 Here's a sweet card today, I am off and working on my lace store. I must say it's about the hottest time of the year for Texas.  It was unseasonably cooler this july due to the crazy rains that many of you may have heard about on the news.  Of course, I was in Turkiye at that time.  Now we are still in a situation where we will hit upper 90s to 100 degree days still.  UGH
