Here's a gorgeous image from Lizzy Love today. They are having a new challenge over at Oddball art in Fall theme. I chose this shade of green with some orange and deep yellow as my fall time colors. I just love this artist's images. Isn't she darling?
Drop by their blog and check out the blog. I think this past week felt a little like fall, or at least it felt a little like summer was going, as the temperatures were going down, perhaps the low nineties as the high. When walking 4-5 hours a day, that makes a huge difference. But this upcoming week it looks like everyday will be back to 95-98 degrees again. So much for that lovely decline in temperature.

Here's an awesome image from Sweet Pea Stamps Artist Rebecca Sinz. This beautiful image is called Midnight Minions. What an awesome image for a Halloween card! Can you imagine a girl playing with some skeleton animals? I was really enamored with this art.
Cheers, Holley

Cherry Girl
Here's just an adorable little girl from artist Julia Spiri. This cutie is called Girl with a hair wrap, but to me, she's a cherry girl! I have a cousin named Cherry, so every time I see a little Cherry, it makes me think of her. That made me color her up in red and made this card with red polka dots and matching flowers.
They are having a brand new contest over on the Julia Spiri blog, it's Anything Goes + Girls! Well you all know I love the girls! This one is such a cutie. Her Etsy store is full of adorable ones to choose from. This sentiment comes from Unity stamps. They comes up with the best sayings! The lace I am using here is some that I got a while back when traveling to Istanbul.
Hope you have a Sunshiney Day!!
Cheers, Holley

Winter, I miss you!
Here's a cute image from Sherri Baldy today. She's all dressed up for winter with her cute little hat on and her fuzzy pants and boots. I added a fun sentiment "Maybe if I dress for winter, it will come sooner!" I think right about now, everyone here in Texas is wishing for a little bit of winter. It sure has been hot lately. You know it's hot when you step outside at 90 degrees and think, wow, that's not bad at all....well, compared to 107 of course not.
So, here's hoping for a little cooler weather. The contest over at the SSS Challenge blog started yesterday and it's Anything goes with a twist to add a hat. Doesn't need to be winter theme. I can't wait to see what you make, you could win some awesome images from Sherri Baldy.
Have a great day.

Dia De Los Muertos
Here's an amazing coloring page from artist Rick St Dennis book Day of the Dead. How stunning is this? I am just blown away by his amazing drawings, esp his Dia De Los Muertos, skulls, beautiful ladies, and fun horror theme. This card measure 8.5" square, though of course, it's not a true square, as the width is actually extended due to the die cuts on the side.
I colored up the entire image in W2-W8 and R81-R89; The Challenge over at the Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge is to use pink. I thought this image was just perfect for that. I added a sentiment at the bottom, "For love is immortality -Emily Dickenson"
Drop by the Challenge and share your pink card and as always, be sure and include a greeting somewhere, it can be a cardstock sticker, as mine is, a stamped image, a computer generated print or even a hand written message. We can't wait to see what you create.
I totally recommend this fun book from Rick St Dennis, I love the images!

Gothic Witch
Here's the cutest image from artist Julia Spiri called Gothic Witch. I combined this image with some stunning papers from Paper Temptress today to create this card. I know last time I shared a card using this artist's images I mentioned that this image was my current favorite in her store....well, yep, I had to get it. Isn't she adorable? The colors just match these papers perfectly.
The beautiful papers today are all from Paper Temptress. The card base is mica/metallic called Sapphire. The large spiderweb corners are also cut from mica/metallic in Kunzite. Across the middle there is a beautiful border that is actually from Hambly Studio Overlays, a small piece of Pink Mini Chandeliers. The image is printed on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest Paper. I use this brand in my printer all the time and get beautiful prints.

Have a purrrfect Halloween
Here's a purr-fectly adorable image from Simply Betty Stamps for Halloween time. I totally love her cute and sassy/sexy images. If only I had a cat suit. The other day my husband tells me that he likes two tone hair. Really? we have been together almost 18 years and now you saying that. He never ceases to amaze me. I just laughed and said, does grey count?
You can see all the fibers coming out of the skeleton, esp the one of the white cardstock where the image is printed, that's because I actually did these diecuts using a beautiful fabric! I wish you could see the awesome detailing the in the fabric, they are shimmery with lovely texture.
Have a great Wed. everyone. Cheers, Holley

Pink Bunny
Here's the cutest girl that you can tell is ready to go back to school! Have you seen that tv show called Bob's Burgers? How can you not love that little girl who wears the bunny ears everywhere she goes? This image totally reminds me of her PLUS I just love the little skull on her shirt and the bag that she is holding. I had to had a couple skulls to the card to go with it.
Hope you like her too, so fun to see all the kids off to school now. I get up and start walking everyday by 7:30 so I see the kids in my neighborhood actually walking to school with their parents. How refreshing is that? So sweet to see.
Have a great Sunday. Check out the Oddball Art Challenge blog for this challenge, as well as their current facebook Challenge.

Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I am actually going to be working at the church both today and tomorrow, hmmm, so much for labor day weekend. Oh well, there's always so many things to be very thankful for. Linking this to the Unity Challenge this month, they have a pretty loose sketch challenge, which I altered just a tad to create my own card here.

Feeling Fabulous
Here's one of the cutest images from Sweet Pea stamps artist Conie Fong. She's called Feeling Fabulous. Well she's also looking fabulous in this color combination of orange, pink and blues. I am so in love with this gorgeous image. I added a fun vellum sentiment that also is printed in oranges and pinks and it says "Know that you YOURSELF are a miracle." How true is that? most esp for me, as now I am five and half year post brain surgery(ies) and still seizure free.
Here's a close up of this adorable stamp that is currently available in digi and rubber stamp format.

A cute little corner bookmark
Here's the cutest image from artist Sherri Baldy. We are starting a new contest over on the SSS Challenge blog. The contest is Anything Goes + Bookmark! So, what it is I made you ask? It is indeed a bookmark. It's a cute little specially folded square with a cute pocket that allows it to sit on the corner of a book page. I have included a couple of additional photos so you can see it in use and I added a location to the pattern at the end of this posting. I wish I could say I was clever enough to come up with this all by myself, but this folded bookmark has been around long before me.
Here's the bookmark in a book holding the page for me.
Here it is with the book closed, so you can see that I know where my marked page is.
Here's one place (of I am sure very many) where you can find the pattern for creating one of these bookmarks yourself. Check it out and then make a bookmark for our current contest on the challenge blog. You could win an awesome prize from Sherri Baldy Stamps.
Cheers, Holley

Teddy Bear cupid
Wow can you believe we are at the end of August? I know I can't! All the kids have already started back to school and the older kids are back in college. What a quick summer. This week starts an Anything Goes challenge over at Outlawz Monday Greetings. I am using this adorable teddy from DeeDee's Digis. It comes with the adorable sentiment shown, plus several additional sentiments. It also has a precolored image.
I had to add these cute arrows on my card because they go with the sentiment. The image set includes the colored, line image, set of sentiments and is only $2!! It's called Love you Beary Much. Drop by and check out the other Outlawz cards this week and the theme is Anything Goes, the only requirement on the Monday contests is that your card have a sentiment on them. Join in the fun!

What's the hatter with you?
Here's a card using a fun image from SLS Lines with a great paper combination from Paper Temptress. I love being able to use bold and bright, even neon colors to really POP sometimes. I think this image really goes with this beautiful paper combo. The image is Mad Hatter. I added a fun sentiment from Kraftin Kimmie rubber stamps.
The awesome specialty papers on this projects are all from Paper Temptress. The base of the card is a beautiful Mica/Metallic called Fairway. I embossed it with a Darice embossing folder. I then added a pink/brown Hambly Studio Screenprint called Mod Circles. It is a small portion of the sheet I linked to. Over the Screen Print I added a Hambly Studio Overlay called Lime Mini Graph. I printed out my image on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest and colored it with copic markers to complete the card.
So, What's the hatter with you?
