Peace, Love, Shopping!

I wanted to share a wonderful image from Sandra Caldwell today.  This woman is just TOO cute.  I love her darling bow in her hair.  You can find more of Sandra's stamps at her Etsy store, Babycakes DND on Etsy.

We also have a fun group on facebook, Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans.

Do something awesome

Here's a fun stamp from Starving Artistamps.  I combined this image with gorgeous papers from Paper Temptress to create this card.  I just how she pops right off the front of the pink collage.

I am using a wonderful base called Poptones Razzleberry.  I added a wonderful silver  paper then I used a Hambly Screen Overlay called Magenta Vintage Patchwork.  I recommend getting the 6x6" cut packs that are just perfect for card making and give a wonderful variety.

Hello There

Here's a gorgeous die cut that I got online, I don't know the maker.  Or maybe it was a Chinese generic die cut.  I just love this huge flower though I think it turned out beautifully. I also looks like it could be an embossed ink in white, huh?

It's been in the upper 80s here already, even though today was only in the 70s, so it seems like our spring is very warm already.

Is everyone's packages arriving?  I have been getting lovely emails and seeing photos and such on facebook of everyone's prizes....

Happy Spring

Here's a darling image from Whipper Snapper. I love this adorable bear!  It's back to school for me now. I won't be able to get the 10 miles of walking everyday that I was doing when on spring break, but I have a feeling if I actually used my fit bit, I walk so much around that school (I change locations like every 20 minutes), that I would likely hit 10 miles as I usually try to do 5 or 6 miles afterschool.

Hope you have a special day!  Happy Spring

Steampunk Snowman

Here's a darling Steampunk snowman from artist Sherri Baldy today. I made this card for the current challenge on Outlawz Monday Greetings challenge.  Drop by the challenge and share your favorite Steampunk theme card this week for a chance to win an awesome prize.

Also, you can enter your Sherri Baldy card in the current contest over on the SSS Challenge blog which is always anything goes + a special theme.  We'd love to have you join us there as well for a chance to win something great.

Cheers, Holley

Happy Birthday

Just wanted to say Happy Bday to a friend in San Antonio.  Hope he has a great birthday this year!  Happy Birthday Sterling.

This cute owl stamp is from Unity Stamps, the sentiment is, hmmm, not sure, but I think perhaps TAC?  anyone?

Cute mini calendars

Here's some more of the cute little calendars that I made for the co-workers and church friends that I have.  I am using some beautiful papers as well as some stamps.  The funny saying is from Taylored Expressions (Grumplings) "I craft so hard I sweat Glitter.";  The cute little angel come from TAC.

Hippo theme Easter

Here's the cutest stamp that would be perfect for Easter time from Sandra Caldwell.  This cute image will go on sale at her store today, Etsy store Babycakes DND.  It's 2095 Hippo and Bunnies.  I love the bow around the hippo's neck.

Hope you are all having fun now making some cards for easter or other Easter theme projects.  What are you making?

Dandelions

Here's an awesome image from Lili of the Valley and a beautiful dandelion die cut.  I see them all over now with the little elementary school kids running after them to blow on them.  Amazing how such a simple thing can make a kid so very happy.

Hope everyone's week is going well. I am enjoying this little time off and getting a lot of extra walking in.  Now that I have all the packages in the mail, I am in the midst of cleaning up the crafting area where I have stuff laying all over the place, lol!!

Gorjuss Girl

Here's a great Gorjuss Girl colored up in various shaded of orange and a tiny amount of pink with some wonderful orange Turkish lace added to the card.  Isn't she just precious?  I love this stamp.  When I was in Turkey last time, I came across a store that had all kinds of Santoro products with Gorjuss Girl on them.  It's huge in Europe.  I bought myself an expensive wallet that I just love.

Got the last of the packages in the mail, Desi and Carolyn.  Everyone else should be getting their stuff soon! At least those in the USA, I don't know how long it will take those outside of the US, though I did try and send their goodies first.

Enjoy

Here's an adorable Bloobel stamp. I added a fun sentiment "Enjoy the little things in life...for one day you'll look back and realize they were big things."  I love that saying and think it's perfect with this frazzled dolly!

Hope everyone is having a great week, spring break is going by too quickly, lol, funny it seems that way already, it's only Tuesday.  Day's move much quicker when I am not in class all day.

So the majority of the packages have gone out now:  Pat R, Pat M, Denise, Rhonda, Teresa G, Billie Dee, Jennifer Kray, Jean M, Sher Brown, Barb M, Melody Scraps, Peggie W, Karen L, Anita A, Vickie

The prize for KJ Arting have been emailed out to Sue E, Donna, Francis F, Jean, EM Louise, Laurian, Pat, and Cathy

All the digi prizes should be sent out now, if you won a digi prize and haven't rec'd it, please email me, htondre@aol.com

Hopefully you have seen your name over the last week or so that means your item is in the mail for you!!  I can't wait to see if you like your goodies.

Cheers, Holley

Happy Birthday

Happy Monday everyone!  We are having a brand new contest over on the SSS Challenge blog this week featuring wonderful stamps made by Sherri Baldy.  The theme this week is Birthday cards!  We'd love to have you join in the fun and share any of your Sherri Baldy creations with us!

Here's some brand new Turkish lace (that I got on my trip a couple years ago, but that I had just opened up last week!).

The following packages went out today:  Vinita (2nd of 2), Karin (all 3 of 3 items); Lucie H, Shelley, Frances, Darcy, Jean C, Shannon, Donna M, Amy, Samantha H;

Off to the post office today to get more stamps! and to mail packages for Virginia and Mel C;

I also got the digi prizes emailed out to Shell and Karin for Paper Nest Dolls.  And I sent the information to Paper Temptress to get the package sent to Virginia.

I Heart ???

Ha!  This stamp just cracks me up. I do love naps and my husband would totally get this card.  He knows how much I need a nap now and again.  Good thing is that he never cares or complains if I take one!

Hope you are all having an awesome March.  I did get the following packages in the mail on Saturday:  Beverly J, Linda, Candy, Juanita, Kathy B, DJ, Jennifer D, Barbara S, K Azeka, Lee T.

I have just about all the rest packaged up now and just needing the postage on them to go in the mail.  There's a handful that will require a trip to the post office because they weight more than 1lb.  Good thing about this year is dies are not that heavy!!  I will get all the rest in the mail this week as it is spring break, so keep your eyes out and PLEASE let me know if you don't see your name.

Prizes and emails went out this morning for winners of Sherri Baldy Stamps:  Sammi, Sylvia A, Barb, Darcy, Jan LTC, Audrey, Jennifer Dillion, Jennifer Kray

I also contacted the winners of the Oddball Art stamps prizes- Beverly Jordan and Donna Mundinger; as well as Miss Rach for Fikreta, Dennis Freeman, Pat Martin, Andree, Jan LTC.

Cheers, Holley

Lots of Smiles

Here's the newest image from Sandra Caldwell today, it will appear in her Etsy store, Babycakes DND later today, so keep your eyes out for this one and more!  Isn't he cute?  It's a giraffe sailor!  I am also using some lovely lace from Turkiye.

OK, the following cards went out today (i.e. made it to the post box last night)-- Kym, Cindy, GR Farrell (2 of 2); CR Brown; Nikki, Christine;

The following packages are wrapped up, addressed and have postage on them, so they will go in the post box first thing after work tomorrow:  Beverly J, Linda, Candy, Juanita, Kathy B, DJ, Jennifer D, Barbara S, K Azeka, Lee T.

Cheers, Holley

Be your beautiful self

Here's a CAS (clean and Simple) card that is quick and easy to make. It looks elegant and beautiful.  I am using some gorgeous Paper Temptress Papers with a beautiful peacock die cut and a cut out from a 12x12 sheet of paper (can't remember what maker the sheet was, if you know, please tell me).

I cut out the peacock using shiny gold paper from Paper Temptress called Gold Metallic Glossy and a beautiful black cardstock on the base, Neenah Supersmooth Black.

Sorry I didn't get anything else mailed or emailed last night.

Gorgeous East Wind Image

Here's a stunning image from The East Wind.  I added a great sentiment (pretty sure this is Unity, please correct me if I am wrong); "It's not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters."  I thought the seriousness of her look went well with a thoughtful saying.

I got several items into the mail yesterday:  Shabneez, GR Farrell (item1 of 2), Kaye, Kaja, Vinita(item 1 of 2), Sindhu, Christine, Jackie, Laurian

All the images from Notturno Digi stamps have been emailed:  Kathy, Pat, Donna, Mel C,  Laurian, and Tracy W.

The prize from Scribbles has been sent to Em Louise.

The following digi prizes should already be rec'd:  Marie Medel illustrations, Time 4 Tea, Scribbles, Notturno Digi stamps, Limited Runs, Enchanted School, Bloobel and Ike's Art;

I am working on these: Miss Rach stamps, Sandra Caldwell digis, KJ Arting, Lizzy Love, Besties by Sherri Baldy, Paper Nest Dolls

Cheers, Holley

This is my Happy Face

Lol, this card just makes me wanna give a happy face!  At such a celebration time, but also a very stressful time, happy stress but stress nonetheless, I feel like that is my happy face, lol!  AHHHHH, can I say that when I make my happy face.  This funny image comes from Taylored Expressions Grumplings. I totally love their hilarious images.

Just four more days until Spring Break, so glad it's almost here.  I know it sounds crazy, but the bad thing is that after spring break, there's a solid 2.5 months of school without a lot of breaks until the end of the school year.  It's such a LONG period....

So, the stamps from the post office arrived, so I can slowly start stamping up some packages during the week nights and get a few out per day.  Stay tuned for which get mailed each day

Adorable girl

Check out this adorable little girt stamp from Maria Medel Illustrations.  Isn't she cute? She's precious.  I just love this artist's images.  She was a  recent prize giver during my celebration last month. You can find her stamps at her Etsy store HERE

I am also using some awesome blue lace from Turkiye on the bottom.  oh, I have a big secret, almost too big to tell, but it makes my heart want to burst....so I am going to tell you all, but keeping it mostly a secret to everyone else, well mostly, I am pretty sure I am going to go back to visit Turkiye this year!!  EEEK, sounds too real if I type it.

I have sent the whole list to Sandra Caldwell, if you were getting a digi stamp from here, it should be coming soon! Laine, Frances F, Denise, Pat M, Jean C, Mel

I also sent out the winning stamps to Jen, Linda, Jackie T, Kathy, Shell, Sylvia and Jean C for Enchanted School.  I have sent out the email for the winner of the $5 gift from Limited Runs to Pat;  I sent out the request for images to the winners of Notturnoc Digitial stamps to Kathy, Laurian,Tracy W (Donna, Mel--I have yours), Lorre-Anne;  I sent out the Time for Tea prizes to JeanChaneyAZ, Jan LTC, Laurian (and need the email for Lorre-anne

I am still waiting on a couple of people to send me their stamp requests for Stamps By Miss Rach.

Everyone who won images from Maria Medel illustrations and Ike's Art should have gotten their images now.

New contest coming on Outlawz

A new contest will start tomorrow for the Monday Greetings Challenge on Outlawz.  The theme is Springtime. Our sponsor is Decosse Dynamite Doodles.  As always, be sure to include a sentiment on the front of your card.

OK, so here's the current status of the prize wrapping.....

The following packages are filled up (even have their grand prizes in them and are ready to go!!

Hard to tell here, but these are the packages that are already done with their prizes in them, address on them and they just need to be taped up and added stamps (oh yeah, I ordered stamps from the post office, you think they would bring those to you fast huh?) It's a full brown shopping bag overflowing...

International prizes that are already addressed and ready to go

Partially ready, but still need more prizes and grand prizes added....for these two pictures

and there's a couple of packages that I haven't started yet, but very few of those!
