Scary Kitty

Here's a couple of Turkish stamps I got while visiting in Istanbul this past summer.  If you have advice on getting a cleaner stamp print, I would love to hear it.  I have heard people say they use sandpaper on them, but I am a bit afraid to try that.  I'd love to hear suggestions though. I do so love this cat and skull that were in one set.

I also got this ultra fine glitter that I thought was in liquid form in a pen, but as it turned out, it's just loose powder form glitter in a pen style.  What a mess!  I can't imagine I will be using that much.  I do love the look, but not the mess.  To clarify, the bat sticker and the word scary are embellishments the remainder are uses of the glitter pen.

Great card, Holley. For a better impression, try stamping with Versamark ink on scrap paper first. I often find the stickiness of the ink removes any imperfections.

I have found that sometimes new stamps have a coating that resists the ink. I try a wipe first and if that doesn't work I try alcohol. Good luck.
