Believe

Sharing this darling image from Whipper Snapper today.  I think most all my cards this month have been animal themed so I might as well add another cute bunny themed card to the mix.  It's got a sweet saying, "Believe in you That's how you make your dreams come true."

I added some great Turkish lace on the bottom of the card. Here's a crazy confession (that I am making at 3am when I am writing this blog post) I actually had to buy an additional luggage to come home with from Turkey, filled with LACE.  Not kidding.

Question of the day?

what's your favorite die cut theme?  shapes that match the stamps? flowers? something in particular? words?

what kind of die cuts do you like?

Did you sign up on Feb 1st?  Prizes are drawn from Feb 1st all month, so be sure and leave a comment there (click here)!!  No Prizes have yet been drawn for Feb 10- Feb 17, be sure and sign up for those prizes as well! See the master prize winner list HERE!

Love your card, you always have great sentiments! I love all dies, larger ones to cut the main image out with stitched border/ or designs. Love dies to match a stamp too. Don't have many Words dies.

This bunny is such a cutie-patootie! I am enjoying your animal cards! That's funny about the lace, but you will use it quickly as I see it on nearly every card you share. It really is so beautiful! As for dies, I like scene building dies. Scenes are one of my favourite cards to make, and I add my little critters to the scenes.

Sweet bunnies and sentiment. That's a lot of lace you must have brought back! I love dies of all kinds. I use my simple shapes (rectangles, circles) most often but I often admire frame dies and scene building dies.

Oh what a lovely card! I always love leafy dies and lately I have been drawn to sentiment dies and pierced background coverplates.

Adorable card! How big did your new luggage need to be?! That's a lot of lace. I like word dies and cover plate dies.

Absolutely darling! You are the queen of lace! I like dies that cut stamps. I seem to use those more often.

What a darling image this is and just as darling a card. I love all the lace you use; sooo pretty! When we go on vacation, we always have one suitcase not filled so that we can bring back our goodies! lol I love using dies - all types of dies! I just had to find a 3rd bin to use for all my dies because it was getting quite cramped with only two. lol

Love the cute bunnies! It must be fun to shop for all of that lace in Turkey!
I love using dies of all kinds! Dies to cut out stamped images, stand alone designs like words and flowers, dies made for making layers or cut outs on cards.... I use them all! I am especially drawn to windows, trees, snowflakes, butterflies and animals....

Awwwww, what a sweet card. I just bought a bunny stamp from Rabbit Hole Designs that I am dying to try out. Holy Moley, a whole suitcase of lace.....sounds like you had a blast searching out all those lovelies. I do use a lot of stamp and die sets. Some of my favorite free standing dies are frames, words and backgrounds. I do use quite a few nature die cuts, too. Blessings, Barbara

Okay this is an adorable card and I love both the LACE and the BUNNIES! I love coffee and honeycomb motifs as my most desired, but I really am interested in growing my pool of card fronts, layering dies, and backgrounds, and due to my TSOL memberships I continue to gather dies to match stamps. Dies to match are so fun for sentiments, florals, and many other stamp sets.

Another adorable card. I love the colors and the lace is beautiful. I don't blame you for buying another suitcase to bring all that goodness home. I like most dies. Dies that match are nice because of fussy cutting. I like the make your own flowers dies because I love making my own embellishments and anything I can use for layers or backgrounds works for me. I also adorable dream catcher dies.

Really cute. Just in time for Easter.

Easter bunnies already? I suppose it is Ash Wednesday huh?

I like those thin metal dies best. As far as theme, I really like those lacy dies that make ornate edges and doilies. I've been real into frilly and girly lately.

Oooh...this is so cute, Holley. Wonderful image and I love your embellishments very much.
I love to use all sorts of dies, especially shape dies, shape dies with lace edge, dies with matching stamps, butterflies and flowers... I just love all dies :)

Adorable card. My favorite Dies are unusual mixed media ones for backgrounds and mandala ones.

My favorite die cut theme are words! But I also love matching stamps and dies! And I also love flower dies that have die cut overlays for them! (Like a solid flower with a thin outline to put on top or layered flowers). Love your card!!!

What a cute bunny card!!! I totally get that you are up so late making cards and keeping up with your blog posts for this amazing celebration. I do an annual hop on my blog that is only a week long and no matter how much time I spend in the months ahead getting ready, I am still up late making deadline for my blog posts!!! Ha. This month-long party is phenomenal. And, oh, how I would have loved to see that suitcase filled with lace!!! Bliss!
I love die cuts of all kinds. I often use die cuts instead of stamping on my cards, although I love stamping, too. The dies I use the most are "essentials"....like nesting sets of stitched circles, squares, ovals, card base rectangles. I don't have a good nesting set of stitched rectangles. Keep thinking I should get a set because the small 3 or 4 piece sets I have never seem to have the right size. After that, I probably use word die cuts and leaves the most. I like the word ones with a shadow background die. Also like stamps that come with matching dies. I guess I love them all!!! lol...

I love animal themes on cards so am just as happy that you are sharing so many of them. I can't believe you're able to make so many cards to post everyday, but am really enjoying them.
Dies are some of my favorite supplies to use because I'm not very good at coloring stamped images. I like most dies, whether basic shapes, words, or dies that go with matching stamps.

SHartl said...

Dies are always so much fun to use, and I'm learning how to use them in lots of different ways. I don't use die cut sentiments that much because it's hard for me to glue them down on a card but I do love dies of coffee or tea, animals, and nature shapes like leaves and trees.
Wow, a whole suitcase filled with lace is something to think about, lol. I've done similar things when I bought another soft sided case to carry home souvenirs from a vacation trip.

The way you lightly colored the bunnies is so sweet. I love how the yellow stands out as I love to use yellow. It is warm and happy! I love all dies I especially love the word dies I am seeing people use. I also love the stand alone ones too.

I used to do rabbit rescue back, years ago, so bunnies are always a joy to see. Your card is so happy and springlike. I'm sure that's a real change from the weather you've been having this winter, and hope you're safe and well.
As for dies, I love all dies...stand alone and with matching stamps. About the only type of die that I don't usually use are very intricate or lacy dies. Haven't been able to figure out how adhere those, and my style is more clean and simple.

Ur card is so cute. For dies, I definitely love ones that cut the image cause I'm terrible at fussy cutting lol

These adorable bunnies are super cute!! Love your gorgeous shading and great sentiment!
Die cuts: all are fun to accent card images. Larger ones not really. I've used every sun I've ever had. Thinking beach scenes mostly because I have a House Mouse funny one. So I guess I like "theme" types: EAster, Hearts, Stars, shells, pumpkins (not ever Halloween), birthday ones, etc. Thanks for all the fun!

Love the rabbit!!! My kids call me, "Mama Rabbit"! I have a number of die cuts. I do like not having to fussy cut images, so if a rubber stamp has a matching die cut, I buy it! I also like to have the ones for A-2 cards with the layers.

Each day a card with a more beautiful image than the other ... and you are not going crazy with your beautiful Turkish lace !! It's a sin for us ... lol.
I have few dies, but I like to cut pieces of 3 sizes and make a composition, I think it's beautiful ... I like paper flowers and I love shiny stones .
