Ahhh, Coffee

You know I had to get more coffee theme cards in the mix this month.  here's a fun image from Scrappy Boy stamps.  I met this vendor at the last convention I attended in Irving, Texas.  He's super nice and just AMAZING at coloring.  He taught a coloring class on just face and hair colors (PLEASE DON't look at this card as any judgement on him).  But do check out his store with his amazing samples.

Cute sentiment says Coffee makes Everything better!  How perfect is that?  I also added some wonderful turkish lace to this card

Question of the day: do you use xl Background stamps?

Hi Holley, thanks to you, I discover many new stamp brands that perhaps are not found in Italy. The sentiment of the card is fabulous I will definitely copy it.
I use stamps for backgrounds, they give a personal touch to the project. Thanks for sharing your party with us. Kisses Taty

That looks better than a hot tub!
One of my issues is I still haven't found "MY" style so I use just about everything!

I have difficulty with large background stamps so I don't really use them. Everything is better with coffee. Such a delicious card!

I love all your coffee sentiments! I need to make some coffee cards; you are so inspiring. Large background stamps are hard to use. I prefer pretty papers or embossed solid cardstock and have even played with embossed pretty papers! Audrey R in Austin

Great coffee card! Again, you always pair it with the perfect sentiment. I don’t really use large background stamps. I find it hard to get a good impression.

Love the cute image for your card, and the pretty trim too!
I don't tend to use xl background stamps because they don't fit in my Mini MISTI. I find that they most often need to be stamped more than once to get a good image!

Very cute card! Such a cute idea for a coffee lover!
I use background stamps occasionally. I recently used a background stamp of an ocean theme to go with some ocean critter stamps.

Adorable card!! She is a doll and of course, a coffee theme is always in my wheelhouse. lol That lace is different. Would be perfect on a guy's card without being too pretty IMO. Yes, I use large BG stamps - as always, need to use them more! lol

It's adorable, Holley! Coffee does seem to make everything better! Your colouring looks beautiful as well! As for your question, I don't think I use XL background stamps but would certainly be willing to try them.

Coffee DOES make everything better. I spent a long time with my coffee at Scrappy Boy's website and LOVE most of his stencils! The stamps were too cute for me *except* for the cute girls Day of the Dead set. Love them. Yes, I do use large background stamps, love 'em. Can't imagine anyone better than you at coloring but I'm headed back to his site, then FB page to look at his samples

I'm a few days behind in commenting. I have a few background stamps and I could use them more often but go to patterned paper instead. I'm going to think about them since you brought it up. :)
