I started by coloring the image in various shades of pink and orange using my Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. Then everything just came together by adding more shades of pink and orange to complete the look. I think this stamp would look great with lot of different color combinations.
Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, DCWV); Stamp (Sugar Nellie Rubber Stamps); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Buttons (Grandma's button bag); Flowers (Prima); Button Brads (Making Memories); Ribbon (Fire Mountain Gems); Adhesives (Pop dots, glue dots, glue all)

Hope you are all having a great week. Today is Day 2 in the hospital for me. Hopefully the testing is going well. I have set up these card to post for your enjoyment while I am there. I hope to have WIFI connection at the hospital so I can check in and add new comments as things happen!

Happy Veterens day! Let me say a big thank you to all the Veterens out there and all those who are currently serving. Thank you for your service and may the Lord bring peace everywhere soon! Don't forget to vote for the card of the week in the right hand column! Hugs all! Holley

So as the poem asks, what simple joys have blessed your life recently? some beautiful weather, talking to a family member, chatting with a friend? For some of us, just having a healthy day is a blessing. I know I count the days when I have time to craft as special!
